Fantastic variety of comics and graphic novels, as well as an amazing selection of Funko Pop and other figurines and collectibles! Everything you need to continue your collection, start a new hobby, or to escape into your imagination. However the best thing about the store was the people. The staff was very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and helpful in so many ways. Taking time to listen, to search out titles and make recommendations. A wonderful experience, and cant wait to go back!

They provide a great choice in collectible toys, statues, comics and graphic novels. Also, a large selection of older issue comics to complete your collection. I like that they display HOT TOYS out of box to see details in figure and costumes. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Amazing store for your average nerd/geek about pop culture and comics! Im obviously one of those, I collect Star Wars Black Series figures and imports, and while they once in a while have some good ones, its the usual Black Series youll find around, but they have ALOT of a wide variety of cool figures and collectibles! If you are nerdy about Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Anime and etc. Youll love this place for sure!

I have never felt as uncomfortable as this shop makes me feel. Over the weekend i purchased a high value comic from this store. It was Brzrkr #1 the 1:1000 variant. After the money was pulled from my account all $2,999.99 things started to go down hill. The first thing i noticed was that on a book with such a asking price they only offered standard shipping; this i assumed was a mistake, so i called them the next morning when they first opened to ask about getting a verified signature next day or 2 day delivery required for this book to protect both parties. They told me they would look into it. Then they tell me that the 3rd party app they use to process payments flaged my purchase as a fraudulent purchase because of a different billing and shipping address. This started a weekend long back and forth between the comic shop, and the 3rd party app. The owner told me they were going to cancel my order and refund it; even after i verified all of my personal information because in the words of the shop owner the only way they would proceed with the sale is if i wrote them a certified check, or did a wire transfer; they would not allow me to pay with a card over the phone for the book or pay online with my card again, but they would let me pay over the phone with a card for shipping. This store in my opinion is clearly just backing out of the sale for a reason they wish to keep hidden to me, because the excuses they gave were all conflicting with each other. After speaking with my bank i found that both of the options this store wanted me to use would give them complete and utter power over everything, i as a customer would have no protection from them just taking my money and leaving me empty handed. I gave these people all the information possible. But it is clear that they did not want to sell this book to me. Because after every attempt to still purchase this book while providing protection for both parties they only continued to come up with excuses as to why they wouldnt sell the book. I was even told that i couldnt pay with my card for the book because they didnt want to incure a charge for processing a card payment again, even thou they made the decision to use the 3rd party provider. So i will never do business with this establishment again. I felt like i was being treated like a criminal for wanting to be a customer of their store, i have never been treated worse by a store. Its my opinion based on the facts of my interaction with this business that doing business with them is a perfect way to feel victimized.

I walked in and perused the collected comic editions for a literal 2mins and was approached by the female owner who asked if she could help me find anything; she told me they do not stock hardcover collection books in store. I inquired a bit more and felt I was being shooed out the store. If it would have been a more friendly environment, I may have asked for a copy of Previews and placed some orders to support a local business. The operation of this business is proof why internet shopping is a better experience. Better prices can be found online. I only give a 2 star because I have been through the shop before and they do have cool stuff there; albeit and way higher prices...Ill continue to do my shopping online or in the Chicago brick and mortars.

What horrible customer service!! TRIED to pre-order (online) the Detective Comics 1000 set on February 10, 2019, it is now August 22, 2020 and I still have not received the books, multiple emails and phone calls and this place just refuses to answer!! Never never never go here, places like this need to go out of business because it just gives this industry a bad name

Has one of the better selections of Funko Pops in this area. I found several that Ive never seen in stores elsewhere. The shelves are very well organized, making it easy to look through when shopping for specifics. They even mark pops that were recently vaulted, first Ive seen that anywhere.

Family owned and operated they are friendly and always willing to go above and beyond for the customer. Easy to get ahold of and fast to respond. I have lived and traveled all over the US and this is by far my favorite Comic Book Shop anywhere.

This place is amazing, and the owners have always been super nice about everything. I have picked up some amazing older comics here, and the owners personal comic is awesome. They dont talk down to people, and they are super helpful. They even helped my wife aquire a few comics for my collection I lost years ago.

This place sells collectibles. Comic books, figurines and the like. Marvel, DC, video games, horror.... the collection is amazing. And I call it that becuase thats how they price it. Like a collection. I dont do much shopping for this stuff, I took a few comics in looking for store credit and was told they dont buy comic books from the 90s. So I didnt but anything from them, either. I would probably have kicked in a few extra dollars to get something I actually wanted but they shut me down as soon as I asked. Didnt even look at the comics I had. And then I thought Id look around but the price tags shocked me. If you want something. Like WANT something, I guess youll pay what people are asking. But there is SO MUCH INVENTORY I have to imagine people treat it more like a museum. You never have to wonder if they have something in stock.

The folks who own this store have an extremely customer friendly business model, offer outstanding customer service, and a pretty significant collection of things to choose from. If you like comic books, the characters found within, or are just into comic related collectables this is the store for you. I really have nothing but positive things to say, and the only thing they could do beyond what they already do to earn such a positive rating is give me free comics. Seriously! Just give them a try. Holy cow!!!! If you are a Comic Fan or collector of any Comic related stuff this place is amazing!!! Even if you are not a collector this place is just super fun to visit and spend time looking around at all the amazing stuff. To top all that off the staff (owners) are extremely knowledgeable and their knowledge is only exceeded by their friendliness! If you cant tell I love this place. Most reviews I do only get a few words, but this place deserved me writing a true review. They have been around for a long time and have quite a local following. They even have their own editions of some comics, meaning Marvel and DC do special cover designs for their store in limited runs that often fetch over 20 dollars a copy on Ebay (they just charge cover price though). Go, go now! They are closed on Mondays.

This store is very personable and has a huge selection of DC, Marvel, and indie comics. The owner can recognize regulars and of course they have a pull lists available upon request. Any time I have not found something Ive wanted, theyve offered to order it with their next resupply (which happens weekly or bi-weekly).As a bonus, they have a %10 off on Magic the Gathering booster packs and Graphic Novels.The store is a bit cramped with all the merchandise, but it has great music (mainly 80s synthpop) playing and a small selection of T-shirts.
