Worst hearing aids on the market. Customer service is horrible iv been trying to get my hearing aids that are under warranty repaired or replaced better yet refund my money for there junk for over two months. Can’t find out anything out Bree the last time I talked to I was told would take care of it call me within two days I’m still waiting
I work here at TruHearing, the culture here is very positive, and I love the work we do!
For the last three years I have had outstanding service from my Centerville Tru Hearing practice. Always treated with kindness. Questions are promptly answered and handled with consideration of my needs. I am kept well informed of my choices and options. All my needs are met with total satisfaction. Highly pleased.
I got my hearing aides to 2 months ago when my left hearing aide the battery compartment didnt work when I got it the second time the compartment wasnt quite right I tried two weeks later when I put the battery in the compartment it rolled up into the hearing aide so I took it back to Rayanne today my audiologist knows what she is doing your hearing aide is defective the left one this has happened twice my right hearing aide works fine I have no problem with it I have had hearing aides for10 years and never had this problem please fix this problem right this time it should have been right the first time to say least I am very disappointed in your hearing aides and as far as recommending family and friends at this no I would not.
So far, I havent had my appointment with them and it is getting frustrating. I had an appointment scheduled for last week and got an email confirming an appointment for a different time. I called and was told to disregard the email and I would be called at the correct appointment time. No one called until a few hours AFTER the scheduled time to apologize and re-schedule. They re-scheduled for the following day, but NO ONE called. I called and, after getting a list of menu options, got a customer satisfaction survey asking me if I wanted the same customer service rep or another one (I hadnt actually spoken to one). I had to hang up and call again. I told them about the TWO appointments no one had called me for (they were to be done online or over the phone) and they rescheduled for a third time. That third time was almost an hour ago and I still havent heard from anyone. This is the THIRD time they do not have the courtesy to call when scheduled. Regardless of how great or not great their hearing aids may be, and how nice their customer service people are on the phone, something is SERIOUSLY wrong with a company that makes appointments multiple times and doesnt keep them.
The big problem I had was my out of pocket expenses for the hearing aids were $ 2745, ridiculous. Welcome to OBAMA CARE.
Kelli and Samantha are very personable and do everything they can to make the visits pleasant and helpful.
Top notch company with knowledgeable and friendly staff..A pleasure doing business with these folks....
I had to return a hearing aid which didnt work for me, and somehow the credit did not get posted for some time. Once the owner of the company heard about the problem it was taken care of immediately with a heart-felt apology. I appreciated the way they handled my situation and appreciate Tru-Ear.
I am a retired Federal employee and went with TruHearing because they seemed to cater to Federal retirees and they said they were familiar with fehb and would take care of any cost that didnt excede my benefit. They picked a hearing center and i went to be tested and pick out hearing aids. The hearing center said there was a problem because my hearing aid benefit had already been met. I looked at the paperwork they received from Truhearing and a wrong address was listed for me. Almost two weeks later, I called the hearing center and they had not received the hearing aids and had no information on the progress of the order. I called Truhearing and was told Federal Blue Cross had not paid for the hearing aids so the order had not been placed. What a joke. I was employed in Federal law enforcement and worked as an explosive specialist and had to qualify quarterly with numerous firearms and have lost much of my hearing. I need hearing aids and I thought Truhearing would speed up the process, but instead hindered me getting my h.a.s. If I had to do it again, i would STAY AWAY from Truhearing and go to a service provider that could fulfill their promises.
We work with Truhearing a lot. They do a great job and they are so easy to work with.
Rude, inconsiderate personnel at the Hemet, CA. office! My mom refuses to return!
No better or worst than my Phonak brand. Nice that the Signia brand allow my iPhone to go through hearing aids. Wireless charging nice as well as when using my Apple Car Play Going through hearing aids.Disappointed in hearing aids not any better than my PhonaksDo like the option of programming sound levels and directional use vis IPhone app.Dr Scott DeWitt at modern audiology Is the best !!
I was quoted $7,985 for 2 hearing aids if I purchased them through an out-of-network provider. Because I am a pediatric speech pathologist, I knew that it was vital to hear every sound that a child produces, which meant that I would need the highest quality hearing aids. I checked with my insurance company, which worked in partnership with TruHearing to provider the hearing aids that I needed. Not only have the hearing aids changed my life for the better, as I am able to once again hear the sounds that I had lost, but it has assured that I guarantee my clients the best service possible, at a cost less than 1/4 of the original estimated cost. TruHearing worked directly with a phenomenal audiologist in my vicinity. She was an expert in her field, compassionate and knowledgable. I found my experience with her and her office staff to be far superior to the Audiology group who did not accept insurance. TruHearing understood that I did not want a hearing specialist, rather as a speech pathologist, I wanted to only work with an audiologist. They provided me with a list of those providers. Additionally, they provided me with batteries for 1 year. I could not have asked for a better experience. TruHearing has been a true blessing in my life.
I cannot hear with mine. I wish Id never spent the money. Been back several times to be adjusted but still useless to me. An ear amplifier for $30 and $50 dollars works better. Ins company out $7200 and Im out $800 in copay. Not a happy camper.
I was very pleased and satisfied with everything that took place. Excellent treatment. The technician was very courteous and helpful and very accommodating. She answered all of my questions. My Flyte hearing aids have worked perfectly, no problems. I really like them.
Great, friendly, place to get the best hearing aids, you are one on one with friendly knowledgeable staff that care about you and your hearing. I highly recommend True Hearing for you hearing aid needs, they care.
This company has been sending me spam emails for nearly a month. I just want them to stop!
TruHearing offers a good assortment of hearing aids at the best prices Ive seen. Their partnered practitioners have been top notch. Support excellent!
So great such caring and quality people I’m involved with .
The representative from Truhearing was extremely helpful from explaining the benefits, referring to an office near my home, to scheduling an appointment, to following up the experience. Accent on Hearing is the office I chose. The personnel were professional with highly skilled. The entire experience helped me transition to using hearing aids.
“Took my mother to get a new set of hearing aids through TruHearing. She is much happier with her new TruHearing Flyte aids than her old ones, despite having paid only a fraction of the cost. Would highly recommend.”
Went in to get a very simple repair on my hearing aid at 4:00 pm they advertise they are open until 7:00 pm and they had absolutely no one there that could help me the receptionist stated that everyone had left for the day . I have worn hearing aids for 7 years now my first ones I had were from Costco I should have went back there I have hated these aids for the 7 months I have had them I can assure you I will be back at Costco in January when my
A-holes wont take me off their mailing list. Never done business with them and after all the spam, I never will.....
Very professional
Like many people, I have been putting off getting hearing aids. I am probably at least 5 years overdue. I now wear 2 Starkey Muse and am grateful I took the step. I no longer have to ask people to repeat what they say or speak up. My husband no longer has to be sound blasted by the tv volume being turned up. I hear people approaching from behind me. My first day outside I hear birds and voices of people walking by. The people at TruHearing have been helpful with my questions amd I like the provider they sent me to. It took about 3 days to be used to wearing them and now, if I am awake, they are in my ears. They sure make life a lot more pleasant.
I thought at first, TruHearing was some sort of scam. I was wrong. They helped me save $900 on my hearing aids. Thats a nice chunk of change. Check them out - youll be glad you did!
I am a former employee of Tru hearing. I contacted them about picking up my final check. I needed it to pay for percription migraine medicine. I asked if I could pick up my check instead of having it mailed so I didnt have to wait 5 days. I contacted the proper departments by phone and email for 3 days with no response. Because I wasnt able to get the check I ended up in the Emergency room.
I am 83 years old and Have arthritis in both hands. When I purchased my hearing aids the girl that sold them to me showed me how to take off and replace the dome, but she did not let me try before I purchased themif she had, I would never have bought them. The dome is impossible for me or my husband to replace. Now I am stuck with a pair of hearing aids I cant use. Please instruct your sales people to have old people try to replace that dome before making the purchase.
Very poor experience with TruHearing. I was referred through my insurance provider (Providence Health Plans/Oregon). I spoke with a TruHearing rep to schedule a hearing test at a local provider. Once the TH rep explained how the process worked between TH, the provider and my insurance company all I could think was why do I need this middle company just to get a hearing test? It honestly felt more like I was being sold something instead making an appointment with a doctor. As soon as I hung up I did some quick research and found that TruHearing is in fact a middle man, and that the provider they would have sent me to is not an Audiologist or an ENT but more akin to a hearing device salesman. The hearing test I would have received (and paid for) would be no better than one I could schedule for no cost at my local Costco warehouse. I scheduled a new appointment directly with an ENT/AUD clinic in-network for my insurance then called TH back to cancel that appointment. I couldnt reach the original rep but the second rep looked me up in their system and said he would cancel the appointment. He also assured me that he would notify the provider and inform the original TH rep. The TH system emailed me the next day to confirm the appointment--at the wrong clinic, and my last name was spelled incorrectly. To date I have received multiple calls from both TH and the provider asking me to call to confirm my insurance information--which was provided to the original rep during the first phone call. The appointment would have been tomorrow and I just received another voicemail from the original TH rep. I returned her call but had to leave a message in a general department voicemail box. I called a second number she provided and reached yet another rep who at first couldnt even find me in the TH system. When he did finally find me he said that my birth date had been entered incorrectly by the original TH rep. I told him the appointment was cancelled weeks ago and he informed me that there was no record of my cancel call in the TH system.I am not at all impressed with TruHearing and I would not recommend using them.
Theres some great friendly people here and some great deals
Love working here first job in Utah I ever had that I actually love
Working with TruHearing to get hearing aids, by them partnering with my health insurance, was simple, efficient, and cost-effective. This is a good model for how certain healthcare needs can be kept to a reasonable cost instead of having to pay outrageously high mark ups.
Great experience with TruHearing. Service was professional and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Used to be a legit outfit. Now they refer you to places that dont want you. I was referred to a place that charged me 75.00 for a hearing test, then I discovered they had NO hearing aids to try on. And the only way to get A pair of hearing aids was to pay 1/2 the purchase price up front! You say you want to compare three makes/models? Prepare to fork over 1/2 of the purchase price of each make model. Called Tru-Hearing back to complain. They basically told me to go take a flying leap. My first set of hearing aids (2010) came from Tru-Hearing and it was a normal, pleasant experience. Obviously no longer with your time or energy.
I contacted TruHearing. They arranged for me to get my hearing through Audiology & Hearing Aid. This went fine. However, the hearing aids developed a problem and needed to be sent back for repairs. Audiology & Hearing Aid charged me $85.00 twice a total of $170.00 to get the hearing aids sent back repaired while under warranty. I contacted TruHearing and complained. They told me this was normal. You make the judge if this does not sound like a ridiculous practice and a complete gouge/rip off.
Treated with sincere warmth & kindness. Very professional, attention to detail.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. IF YOU USE THEM, DOUBLE-CHECK ANY INFORMATION THEY GIVE YOU ABOUT HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS, AND **NEVER** GIVE THEM YOUR WORK ADDRESS!!! I used TruHearing instead of the University of Maryland because TruHearing offered a 2k discount on the model I wanted. To get my hearing aids, TruHearing gave me the name of an audiologist whom they claimed had a degree in audiology and 20 years experience. The man turned out to have no degree in audiology; he was only a licensed hearing aid salesman with no medical or healthcare degrees at all. He fitted me for hearing aids, but did such a poor job, I ended up with weeping sores on my ears because the wires were too short and rubbed grooves into the tops of my earlobes. Then TruHearing sent medical information to my company--and the envelope was addressed by hand in this weird calligraphy resembling Arabic writing. So when the letter ended up on the desk of the man in charge of my project, he couldnt read who it was addressed to, and opened it by accident. Thats right, TruHearing informed my company that I have hearing loss. Now I fear this will affect my chance at promotion, a loss of up to 30k over the next five years. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER ALTERNATIVES!!!
I wish they wouldnt keep sending mail to my deceased parents (passed away over 3 and 5 years ago)... That isnt particularly helpful or wanted.
No way to find out credentials of service
Used to be an amazing place to work, not so much now.
Horrible business!
Wish I would have done more studying before going with this company. Not happy with the people who fitted my hearing aids on top of that!😝
TruHearing is a TRUE middle man, ALL THEY DO is to direct you to your local Audiologist. TruHearing sells the same hearing aids as your local audiologist does, at a higher price, while paying the local audiologist a fitting fee. The audiologist is to service the hearing aids, while TruHearing just collects the $.MY RECOMMENDATION IS TO CALL YOUR LOCAL AUDIOLOGIST DIRECT.
Great prices and service
Both hearing aids broke after 45 days been gone two weeks not happy
I called to get info and help thru relay. Before i could type to say anything, they hung up the phone. Apparently, deaf people are not worth their time.
Great place to work!
Great place with great people
Best word to describe this company is inhuman.
What!? What!?
