I ordered screen door from them back in June. Twice they ordered wrong door. Twice they measured. Four times they didnt know what was going on. Its November and I still have no screen door. I am grateful that I didnt trust them with any other projects in my home. Despite the incompetence, they were very good at taking my money. Amazing.
I used to go here for better customer service than what was typically offered at Lowes in San Clemente. This despite the fact that its 20 minutes further. However, todays trip changed that. Was treated to two I dont knows its not my department and a check out clerk who attempted to charge me the case price for a single piece of tile and couldnt think on her feet to understand the arithmetic. This review is specifically for their plants + outdoor gardening area!Needed quite a few plants for my house last-minute so I stopped by at around 5:30 yesterday. The entire store was very light at the time, so I barely saw any other customers. This was great because I could take my time looking at all of their plants! They must have gotten a fresh shipment of indoor + outdoor plants because all of the areas were FULL with healthy plant babies.I ended up leaving with a lush fiddle-leaf fig plant, some succulents, and multiple indoor plants! Usually big chain stores don’t have a great variety of plants, but yesterday I saw some varieties that tend to be more rare—it must depend on what time/day you shop.Overall the store was clean, fully stocked, and the person who helped us at checkout was really nice!
Went to get some wood boards to make my customized welcome door signs. The lumber department was extremely helpful. The garden dept however, not so much. I went there in search of riot root pods and other materials for my hydroponic plant seed starters. The worker didnt really know what he was talking about and sent me to irrigation to which I then got sent back to the garden area after..... 🙃 I would definitely train your staff a teeny bit better in the garden dept. Overall though, I was happy with my trip today.

Do not buy any appliances from Home Depot. I bought an LG washing machine 2 months ago that has stopped working. Home Depot does not offer any service or help - they send you to LG to get help. LG has done absolutely nothing to fix or replace the washing machine. Going on a month now with no working washing machine. The worst experience I have ever had.

My husband and I went to Home Depot in Mission Viejo, CA today. We experienced excellent customer service by Joshua working in the large equipment rental. He exhibited respect, courtesy and compassion with our questions about renting a trailer. We are planning to move out of state and we were struggling with finding a trailer. Joshua took the time to walk us through different options. He is an excellent representative of your organization.
Really like this store as it is close to my home. Not my favorite Home Depot but it has a good selection of stuff. It is in a weird location but it always has a lot of parking and employees who are looking to help you if you need it. Just wish that Home Depot would start to lower the price for wood and other items that are crazy over priced due to the circumstances.
Had 10% off coupon. Was charged full amount because I scanned coupon after items purchased. You needed to scan coupon first. OK. Was advised I needed to go to returns at other end of store, get a credit and then return to checkout to repurchase items. I found it easier to pay the extra 6 bucks, return home, get sharp scissors and cut Home Depot credit card in half. Hello Lowes.

Im lucky I am tech savvy and persistent. Lately met with I dont knows and not my department so I have to use my HD app to scan for availability. One I find the store sku I get a ladder and get it myself if its not locked... priceless. I bet if people had malicious intentions they can walk out with whatever.

I have to say normally I have a good experience at Home Depot but for some reason the person that helped me being that it was just the beginning of the opening of the store I dont understand why this person was in in a better mood it was more like he didnt want to be there and trying to rush me out and I guess he grew impatient because unmute but I can hear anyways for the most part I normally do have better experience but on this date I dont know what was going on with this kid

Im a contractor for 24 years and I was pleasantly surprised at the proficiency and knowledgeability of the staff in the tool rental area. They really knew there stuff and were helpful loading and unloading the heavy equipment I rented there. I cant tell you how impressed I was with these young folks. Usually not the case nowadays. I highly recommend this location. 👍

Very disappointed. My wife has been looking for a gazebo for our back yard. I am in and out of this Home Depot all the time. In one of my most recent visits I noticed a gazebo on display that looked exactly like what my wife described. I brought her in later that day and we bought it. It was scheduled to be delivered 05/24/2021 between 6am and 8pm. 8pm rolled around and no delivery and no phone call. I called Home Depot and the IVR responded via my caller ID that the item had not been received. I requested to speak with someone. He advised it should be in tomorrow, then will be scheduled for delivery. I explained I waited 14 hours today with no delivery or call. He didnt respond to that, didnt seem to care. I called the next day and the IVR said my item is in and ready for delivery. I requested to speak with someone again. The lady was very nice and apologetic. She said it appears to be set to deliver tomorrow and asked me to call back to confirm. I called the next morning and spoke with her again. She advised the system now shows its a seasonable item and no longer available. She is going to notify her supervisor and also check with the supplier. She refunded my credit card and will see if there is a way to reorder the gazebo. I was out of town over the holiday weekend and called Tuesday morning and left a message for her. The next morning I was in Home Depot and the gazebo is still on display. I called again and after the IVR, just got endless ringing. Fi ally got through and apparently the item is simply not available. Still dont understand why this item is on display if not available, how something not available can be ordered, why their level of service is so poor that they have a customer waiting for 14 hours for something to be delivery that they dont even have. The lady I have been speaking with put me on an email tracker for this item so I receive an alert if/when it is in stock. I do appreciate her effort.

We needed someone to cut some lumber for us and it took about 10 min to get someone to meet us at the cutting area only to have them tell us the saw is out of order. The odd thing was you young guy kept saying something about not wanting to breathe in saw dust. He had a mask on and I dont know of a wood cutting method that doesnt produce saw dust.🙄 We had to hand cut it ourselves with a hand saw. No one was helpful, customer service doesnt seem to exist anymore. Would have rated lower except the guys in the tool rental were really nice.

Found everything, mostly good prices, kind helpful staff. They just need more items MADE IN THE USA. All of the lamps and lighting systems we needed were made in china. Ill have to search the web to find the American versions, even if they arent cheap. We need to consume and demand more U.S.A. products.

This review is solely for the quality of their milkweed. This Home Depot location definitely does not spray or use insecticides on their milkweed (at least as of July 2017). I bought two plants that had Monarch eggs on each and so far, I havent lost any yet. Some of them hatched just a few days after and are now happily on their way to being butterflies. I recently put one plant outside after harvesting the Monarch eggs and not even a few hours after, a Monarch butterfly showed up (which is a big deal because no butterfly has ever shown up at my place, its sort of an apartment balcony).So, in short, Home Depot has safe milkweed as of July in 2017. I was unfamiliar with the store layout, but I just walked in their nursery and went through the middle aisle. It was maybe not even 30 seconds into the store and I found the milkweed in the middle aisle at a cross section. Theyre about $10 each and plants were tall enough to have to be careful with driving home in a tiny sedan. I would say they were approximately 24 inches tall. Ive had to cut mine down to fit into my cage net. One plant had 13 eggs on it (or so I thought until 5 extra caterpillars showed up plump and healthy in the protected netted area).Thanks to Home Depot for saving the Monarch butterflies and other pollinators! Please keep your quality milkweed free from any insecticides!
This is one of the few Home Depots that I havent been to a lot over the years. However, the parking was easy and the interior well delineated with directional signage. I went to investigate a repair solution for my sister-in-laws plantation shutters having broken recently. No luck really. Regardless, there was a very knowledgeable older gentleman in the blinds and windows department who directed me to blindparts.com in order to get exactly what I needed (I had a photo so he knew exactly what I needed). I ended up grabbing my sister-in-law some wood repair items as well since I was there. Sincerely, a good experience. I would recommend that location and its associates to anyone.
This place was very nice about the lighted Christmas trees the one that she got the lights didnt work on it so they replaced it and delivered a replacement tree for free 😁👍❤😇
This is an excellent Home Depot. If the other stores closer to are out of stock on something, this one usually has it. Very good people work here also. They are all good people everywhere else too but these are a cut above.

Was looking to replace my outdated mini blinds and was fortunate to have Reza assist me in the whole process of special ordering them and installation. Process was smooth and a few minor holdbacks but with the assistance of a co-worker they got it right. The installation crew also did a quick and clean installation. Rented a stump grinder that 1) was misfueled with 2 stroke blend so I had to drain the carb and lines of oil and clean the oily spark plug for 2hrs of maintenance before it would start 2) once started it would hardly cut wood so spent another hour to flip the cutting teeth around (it was missing 1 of 3 already) so three hours of free mechanical labor I had to put in a rental tool that was dull and didn’t cut that great. Homeowners beware that the rental shop knows less about tools than you. Hindsight I should’ve hired the job out for the hassle or rent from a real rental shop.
Went to Mission Viejo, CA Home Depot store to look for a dehumidifier for a no-window bathroom. Instead, I bought a bunch of vegetable seeds and some starter plants (all organic) to add to my already growing back deck patio Victory Garden, some kitchen, under the sink cabinet roller catches (so the cabinets stay closed) dirt, planters and some Home Depot buckets. The staff was friendly, helpful and available, however, it seems at the Mission Viejo store, the dehumidifiers were an item that seems to move around the store too much, because (even with the use of an inventory store computer) no employee gave the same isle number/location nor could they explain why the isle location for the item wasnt showing up in the APP, (went down ever isle, twice). Other then for the reason I went, (and two hours later) I still left satisfied with the items I purchased and with some hunger pains for a Jimmy Johns 16 inch, #8 sub! What a good day to be out, until I made it onto the 5-South to Dana Point, what happened to the days of no traffic on a Friday afternoon? That was so last month (June)!

Ex Home Depot employee so was kinda fun bossing staff around here since I know how things work here. Everyone was very friendly and helpful for the most part but I asked like 5 people or more for a cut ticket and if they had a first phone no one I asked had either. Got $20 off my purchase again since I know certain things and I put it to work in my favor even though I would gladly pay full price if someone hadnt done what they did. Store manager seemed nice Alan but I dont think he was to happy with me getting $20 off needs to yell at flooring or garden or the MET team if they even call them that anymore. Got store containers and 9v batteries. Had a few really helpful people the one blonde girl fairly tall and skinny at special services. And a girl that was by receiving with dark hair name stated with an M kinda different name. And 2 very helpful cashiers over by self chech out. One also blonde and another lady with dark hair.

I didnt appreciate the racial profiling from the staff. Of course it wasnt all the staff, but it only takes one encounter to ruin it. In regards to the store, its clean and well stocked.
It was OK. I just wish people were more helpful and certain they are asked for an opinion. Some people dont know about some of the items and if they are told I think so when asked if the product is good.

My parent’s were very grateful for Brenda’s professionalism & product knowledge. They’re both in their early 80’s & negotiating their way around Home Depot is difficult enough, not to mention looking for & purchasing a new water heater. Brenda went beyond her call of duty by assuring my parent’s their new water heater met all the required specifications, assigned a delivery date to accommodate their medical appointment schedule and even assisted my father with a chair for him to sit in to alleviate the pain in his legs. Home Depot is the leader in their industry because of their First Class Employees such as Brenda. It’s the small things in life that make a BIG difference in the way we live. Didnt find the ant bait I was looking for, but it turns out its not made anymore! Most people were masked, with a couple of exceptions. Many did not respect social distancing. I did find the replacement window rollers I was looking for! The self- checkout works well, except they have a handheld scanner, so come prepared with hand sanitizer.

Out of all the births Ive given, naturally might I say, and without an epidural, ordering from this particular Home Depot has been one of the most painful experiences I have ever had. The customer service is substandard and lacking, this I say as an understatement. If youre looking for a business where you are not valued as a customer and will not be able to find assistance in the store when needed, then this is just the place for you.

I used to love shopping at the store. Now it’s hard to find anybody knowledgeable, and sometimes it’s hard to find anybody at all to help. Now the folks at customer service registers are stuck answering the phones all the time, while the customers lineup out the door . Trying to find merchandise online before visiting the store is another story altogether . Inventory can say they have 176 units, but nobody knows where to find them . Of course they are not in a location that’s listed online . This has happened to me five times in the last three months . I end up following associates around the store trying to find things . Now when I call the store to get information or to try to reach somebody in one of the departments, the phone rings and rings then it loops back and says it’s routing me again and it continues to ring, and I wait on hold and nobody answers so I get frustrated and hang up . I honestly think driving 8 miles to Lowe’s in Rancho Santa Margarita, or 6 miles to Lowe’s in San Clemente, is worth the drive because I know when I get there I’m going to get the help I need, and find a products I’m looking for . I hope management takes this information seriously . If this is common in the Home Depot stores across the country, Home Depot will single-handedly bring Lowe’s back from the brink .
