I love this store, many international products. Good parking space and friendly staff
Amazing middle eastern market! Tons of great snacks and candy you cant find at regular groceries. Fresh produce and full butcher. Also has a delicious restaurant upstairs and a full bakery downstairs.
Great place to shop for groceries, especially if you are originally from Middle East or Eastern Europe.I was able to satisfy years long cravings for rye bread and pickled tomatoes after discovering those here.Worth noting are their beautiful dessert and produce sections.
We have been coming here for 7 years from San Diego. The poultry, bakery, deli, and produce are fresh and they have many diverse products. Sometimes i dont feel welcomed though, especially in the meat section because we buy around 30-40 pounds of different meats and the workers can suggest annoyance in serving me. Some are great though and make me feel like the hour drive was worth it.There are no bathrooms in the market, you have to go upstairs to the restaurant and pass through all tables to use it, so we go to home depot across the street to use theirs. The restaurant is expensive, but very delicious.
Great Persian marketYou can find best traditional Persian bread ( sangak) here!!πYou could ask for adding more ingredients ( sesames) (πmy favorites) here
Iβm very happy that I found this place. Fresh fruits and veggies for an affordable price. Guess what, they also have some Indian groceries. Must try their Baklava.
This is the only grocery store in town! They turn up on time, and the food is well-prepared and delivered fast, usually within an hour or two. Coming out of them made me feel incredibly accomplished. This shop comes with a strong recommendation.
The produce selection is out of this world! The herbs and spices, whoever orders the stuff knows their market! I feel bad for the checkout clerks, I see them being mistreated by the Persian clientele constantly. Its not an isolated incident either. These guys really do go above and beyond for their market. So a complete shout out to the staff that theyre awesome!
I really like shopping there! It is a small market but you can find almost everything you need! Their bread is so delicious! Also compare to all the other Persian markets in Orange County, their meat department is really good! All the meats are fresh! Their marinated chicken is amazing! Their fresh vegetables and fruits are great and the prices are unbelievable! I Definitely this place! Make sure to have a meal at their upstairs restaurant, too!
Im so glad because I wanted the latest and new goods in this grocery store. Theyve got it all, and Im glad that their workers are really supportive and polite. I couldnt ask these guys for more, because I just had a nice time with them. Many apologies, everyone! Keep it up!
The watermelons are shown as $.59. It doesnβt say per pound but other fruits and vegetables are listed per pound. When we paid, they charged us a flat fee of $6.99 for it. Not sure why. We went back to ask and then they changed the price to 59 cents per pound and that increased our total cost to 8.54. So they actually asked us to pay even more when we came back. Unacceptable - their price listing is misleading and they should honor the customer. But instead even asked for more money the 2nd time.
They have a great selection of goods, I like to come here because they tend to carry some more exotic fruits. The restaurant upstairs is also very good, highly recommended.
We buy groceries from the market once a month. We are impressed with product variety, especially fresh vegetables and herbs. The market is well managed, but cashiers can be more friendly. We did not have any problems, except a recent experience when we paid for Olivieh Salad (a combination of potatos, chicken and pickles) but was given just Potato Salad (no chicken and pickles). This kind of transactions is not acceptable and damages the marketβs reputation. Hope it is avoided.
Love this place. Have always come here for my grocery needs.
The cheapest produce you can get most of the time. Very good meat quality and middle eastern food. Staff can sometimes be friendlier but I take it they are all middle eastern and thats their culture.
It seems the management has changed since Maliheh is no longer working. I ordered barbari bread and spoke to Mr. Hamid and was told they will keep them until I pick them up but when I arrived there was no bread because they had given it to someone else. Management should be a bit more concerned about customers. So disappointed.
The varieties of items are spectacular.
Reasonable price for fruit and Persian food.
My son had a procedure here. Everything was professional from start to finish. The staff was amazing at making my son feel comfortable. I would recommended my friends and family to this center without a doubt. Thanks again everyone!!!!
Great dolly vegetable great meat
Best Persian Market in the area! The owner, Mohammad, is very nice. They have a great selection of products at fair prices. Produce is fresh, and they have a good Meat and Bakery section. They have Boars Head sandwich meat, and make fresh Sangak. On the weekends they cook kebabs outside, and it smells unbelievable. Upstairs is the best Persian Restaurant in the area, Bahar.
A great place to shop. People are nice and friendly. They provide gloves and sanitizer. Vegetables are fresh and inexpensive.
Great produce prices and meats and unique apricot fruit rolls. Filet mignon at $8.99 lb and .69 for Roma tomatoes and they can be bought slightly unripe so I can buy extra without them going bad. Great prices and choices on dill, cilantro, parsley, cara cara oranges.
Very good market. We had the pre-seasoned chicken and the beef cubes and it was delicious. The bakery has some amazing cookies and cakes. Also lived the staff, very friendly.Great job. Keep it up.
If you need ingredients for middle eatern cuisines, this is the only place in south OC.That said, they have some of the best fruits and vegetables.
Enjoy their pastries & vegetable departmentGood prices but plan to consume (Ripe and ready to eat)
Awesome little grocery store, tucked away down in the valley there, down the road from Home Depot. Great bakery with a very nice selection of sweets. Their fresh flat bread (cant remember name of it) is amazing. Also, the produce is really great, fresh, and well priced. The workers have always been helpful and give good recommendations.
They deliver organic, ethically sourced boxes of brilliance straight to your door I believe!
Great produce section and lots of handmade yum yums!
Every thing you need under one roof, and really good prices, freshly baked bread every day, second floor they have Bahar restaurant, excellent food.
Very convenient for the community.
My favorite go to market, reasonable prices
The restaurant is entered on the right side of the building. Walk up two floors to get the restaurant.
A great place to shop for clean reasonably price groceries!
We just love this supermarket. Our visit to Albertsons the first day we arrived in Ladera Ranch left us very disappointed. We were paying the same prices but in US dollars. When we happened across Crown Valley, we were so excited as it had everything we would need. It is so international and the produce is just unbelievable inexpensive! For example, mangoes are $0.69 each. A big bag of spring greens costs a mere $1.99!On weekends starting noon, they have a bbq stand outside the store that sells two meat skewers, a roasted tomato, flatbread, a bunch of herbs and a drink all for $5.99!The plastic bags are so sturdy you can reuse them over and over again. Plus, they have these tiny shopping carts for toddlers and little kids to use for participating along with the shopping experience! We will be shopping here for the rest of our three week stay in Orange County!
Dirty, smallish and delu deptnis non-existent compared to place like Johns Marketplace for example. On a plus side there is a kabob (koobideh) grill right in front of the place.
Great Prices for fruits and vegetables, Very Fresh, Best Prices for any type of grapes. Lamb is Fresh. Cheese Assorted Varieties. Fresh Bread made in the store. Open Parking Lot. Their Bazaar Restaurant is behind the Grocery Store.
Im sorry to say this but the employee shortage during the recent pandemic lock down has adversely impacted the quality of food and service at Bahar restaurant located on 2nd floor of this grocery and food establishment.
This market is a must, especially if youre a health conscious fan of home-cooking.Theres a good selection of groceries, with some exotic surprises. The selection of fresh vegetables and spices is great. The pastry counter is both eye-pleasing and very rewarding, if you decide to indulge.Checkout the butcher shop, too.I think its all a bit of a throw-back to a simpler way of life; (and a very pleasant one, at that!)
Great place to get fresh, quality meat and poultry at reasonable prices from butcher, not pre-packaged. Also good prices on produce.
All quality products. It is the place to go to find all you need to cook your favorite Persian food.
The food is constantly well prepared and yummy, employees hands out awesome customer service. I really like the cleanliness and atmosphere. Will visit here again.
Mocha cake:Really delicious! Very soft moist coffee flavored cake. The top has this very mellow coffee cream topped with a mirror glaze. Really yummy!Baklava:Too sweet. I get some flora hints but they are overpowered by the sweetness.Strawberry shortbread cookie:Very eggy flavor.Almond butter cookie:Really soft and yummy.Almond cookie:Yummy! Strong almond flavor and a Curley shell and squishy inside.Sesame flower cookie:A little eggy but nice and flakey.
They overcharge for a transaction that is not my items. And just no explanation whats going on or what happened. I make a claim report to my bank. Just annoyed. Γ)
I love shopping here. They have everything you need and their products are always fresh.
You can always find what youre looking for at a fair price. Quality is good. There are some items that are good to try for the first time.
Rude customer service at checkout!
Food is good. Prices are fair. I just cant believe the entire restaurant, the entire supermarket, back of the house and the kitchen has only one toilet for men and one toilet for women. If you have to go to the restroom while at the restaurant, you have wait a long time and usually there are a couple of people ahead of you and at least one of them is the employee from the supermarket or the kitchen and they sure like to spend a lot of time in there. this does not meet the building code. Not to mention that the AC almost never works.Staff are friendly, pastries are just great. Deli is good but not great. If you are ordering food to go, check it before you leave. You may find out that you got the wrong food when you get home.
Great prices for fruits and vegetables, very fresh, best prices for any type of grapes. Lamb is fresh. Cheese assorted varieties. Fresh bread made in the store.. open parking lot. Their Bazaar restaurant is behind the grocery store.
Lots of fresh veggies and fruits love the variety and the prices
I visit this spot a lot since I work in the area. I like how the service is always good and they keep the place well kept constantly. Pricing is convenient and they serve large portions.
Great products at excellent prices! The best bakery in all of orange county. The owners are kind and generous! One gave me a sample of a Russian candy at the register. Nice deli. They have a wonderful variety of European products, and fish, seafood, lamb, beef, poultry etc. in their butcher area. Also spices from everywhere and for every kitchen. Love this market!
Good prices, decent quality produce and meats. Very discourteous staff.
The spot to buy everything good and its fresh
Good place to shop if you can avoid moms that hit you with their cart just because they are in rush.
Great food- bakery & deli. The staff is nicest friendliest people youll ever meet, we love this place. Reasonably price meats.
Another local Persian grocery store with great fresh produce. Its every day prices are compatible to large chain grocery stores. You can find specialty Middle East items with lowest prices. My favorite is their fresh baked breads. They have a Kabob grill in the front and there is even a restaurant above the store called Bahar. So, there are many reasons to visit the store.
Wonderful produce at a great price, friendly cashier
Cooking a Persian dish? This is the place to find your ingredients! (Be sure to check the best by dates.)
Good vegetables and variety of groceries! Good service!
Good selection of middle eastern ingredients. Amazing bakery with lots of middle eastern spevialties
Great prices and good produce. Wonderful bakery - lots of pastries!
This isnt in the same league as big name super markets - its more like an old school grocery store. It started out as a Persian market, and though it has diversified, that influence is still prevalent. Of course, all the usual things are available. My favorite is their produce section, which is high quality and ridiculously less costly than other places.
Cool store with an exceptional selection of exotic food. The aisles are a little crowded and the parking lot is a bit small, but its with it for the unique selection. Also, they have a great restaurant upstairs with very reasonable prices for excellent Persian food.
Great groceries! Good variety of middle eastern canned goods. Beans, olives, pickles.Excellent prices.
I stop by here all the time to check what fresh produce they have on special. They have great prices & variety on produce and check their mailer ad at the door for what is featured each week. We also LOVE their fresh out if the oven Sangak (I think its sesame seeded flat bread) but whatever it is, we like the stretchy, chewy, crisp edged stuff! I havent tried their fresh meat counter yet but will soon and leave an update.
This is the best location for quality inexpensive produce. A small Mediterranean style Market and restaurant carries products from around the world, especially from the Mediterranean and Middle East.I found Persian rice near Israeli fruit juices (with no hostility between them), Greek, Italian and many other hard to find Mediterranean Specialty Products. I do a great deal of my shopping here.
Prices are outstanding with a good selection of halal meats and various specialty produce items.
Great little market with a great variety of fresh produce as well as many other items like bakery goods etc, friendly helpful staff
Been coming here the past 13 years, fine assortment of Russian, Ukrainian, and of course middle eastern products. Very reasonably priced veggies and herbs. (DILL)
Market is fairly small but its sufficient for my needs. Produce is fresh most of the time and the prices are good. They also have a very friendly staff which is a big plus.
Great options for fresh produce
Outstanding products at very reasonable price. Very professional and attentive staff and Management. Well done, Thanks.
They need to work on the Hygiene, the place is dirty, old and extremely disorganized. Cannot be compared to other persian food stores like wholesome choice. They need to work on it, they have a great location, I am not sure why the owner cannot invest to turn this thing upside down
Lots of merchandise and fair prices
If you want exotic Middle Eastern ingredients, and fresh, ripe, cheap produce, this is the place to go. It amazes me constantly when I walk out of CVM with 3 bags of produce and groceries and spend less then $10. The absolute BEST place for produce.
Best prices for fresh produce. I buy all my citrus and herbs here whenever I can. Their house fire-roasted salsa is pretty epic!
Perfect for everyday shopping
Love their bread and their tiramisu cakes!!! Always get cakes from there and they are delicious!!
Great prices!
Weve just purchased several items from their produce section: mangoes, sweet potatoes, white nectarines, yellow onions, and a honeydew melon; many of the items went bad only one day later. This isnt the first time weve experienced this problem, but it will be the last. Sorry, but I will no longer be a customer of CVM. Their produce prices are low because they buy rejected produce from wholesalers.
Fair prices, not that clean of a store, but overall if I am in that area, I go there to shop for produce.
I miss this place the manager is so nice just wanted to say hi to the manager the produce receiver i miss you guys.thanks
Produce and spices plentiful Meat so affordable
Good spot to buy vegetables and fruit, I never really buy meet there
Friendly grocery store supermarket who was a fabulous meat department, produce and delicious Bakery. Upstairs there is a restaurant with fantastic food very fresh and healthy.
I go for bread and labneh. They have a great variety of middle eastern and Persian products
Fresh vegetables, great customer service and great prices. We buy fresh vegetables that should be used within a day or two of planned use.
One of the best shopping malls in the area. Nice collection of brands and easy parking. close to other stuffs like movie theater, gym, and groceries.
The best international food choices. Family owned and operated. Awesome deli and bakery
Favorite Persian good! The little shak on Saturdays and Sundays have amazing kabobs !!!(just 5 bucks the plate) really filling ... the grocery is affordable and fresh ! All Middle Eastern halal and kosher food ... the restaurant like a homemade Iranian deliciousness π
Wow this place is amazing they pull the bread out of the oven and hand it to you real hot, the deli is delicious and prices are so good you can eat a lot
Great market, has all middle eastern products. Love their kabobs on the weekends! So amazing!
Pricey and maybe its a cultural thing, but they werent friendly. A smile or something would have been nice.
So many varieties, you ask for any condiments or foreign country, dont worry, they have
