Guillermo has taken care of my 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser twice now. They had me out within 30 minutes of my appointment to repair a leak in my exhaust. The welds are top notch and price for labor and parts was very reasonable. Would highly recommend for anyone needing exhaust repair.

Shop around! I had them bolt on an axel back exhaust for my e90 m3. They took 20 min and charged me $300! EAS, a BMW specialist, only charges $125. I wish I would have called EAS first.

Collins Mufflers did a great job on my 2018 GT Mustang. I called a couple of places to get a resonator delete and install an H-Pipe, Collins was the best price. Alex was professional and friendly, he went the extra mile to get it just the way I wanted. Now my stang sounds like a beast!

I was searching for a muffler shop and just read the reviews and so I was impressed so went down there in my 1972 c10 truck to get a price on what it costs to replace 2 header gaskets and replace the boltsThey gave me this insane price of $1100I shopped around and got prices and had varied between $500And $700So why wouldn’t I be sceptakle now if pricesI assume they thought I had money just because I had an old truckI live pay day to payday and work hard for my money just to hear that this company is taking people for their money especially me I’m thinking nowIf I could report to better business bureaus I wouldPlease don’t use this company

Took in my Ford explorer, was having horsepower issues. at first I thought it was the transmission, transmission shop told me to check exhaust. Collins muffler checked it within two minutes of me getting there! They let me know that two out of three of my Cadillac converters are possibly bad and to start off with replacing two of them instead of all three to see if they would fix the issue. super happy that they suggested that because it save me an extra 500 and also did fix the issue with only replacing the two cats!! Would recommend these guys to anybody and everybody this will be my go-to shop if I ever have any exhaust issues or upgrade!!

I just recently had my Ford explorer lose power on me. I thought it was a transmission issue, ended up having the transmission shop say to check out the exhaust. came here they told me I was having back pressure and that tw of my cats were bad. I have three Cadillac converters on my car he suggested changing out two of them instead of paying for the third one to first check to see if that will fix the problem. Super stoked it did fix the problem! He charged me fairly! was fast! easy! very appreciative of these guys! would recommend them to anybody!! this will be my go-to shop if I was ever have exhaust issues

Really informative and not pushy. My 2011 range rover had hitch added, so a hardwired brake controller isnt possible.. they gave me a bunch of other wireless options to think over. Nice guys.

Had an exhaust leak on a rusty exhuast (thanks east coast road salt)They were able to fix it within an hour of bringing it in and for a very reasonable price.Would reccomend for anything exhuast related.

I had a trailer hitch installed here so I could tow a U Haul Pod to and from U Haul for a move. When we went to U Haul to connect the brake lights they would not work unless our trunk was open. If the trunk closed fully the brake lights wouldnt work and U Haul would not let us leave the site. I sat in the trunk to keep in from closing so we could get the POD to and from our house. I went back to Collins Muffler to have them fix it. When we arrived in Missouri to transport the POD to our apartment the issue had not been fixed. We still had to sit in the trunk in order to get the brake lights to function. I was told that I would get a check in the mail to cover the cost to install the hitch properly but that hasnt happened.

My husband brought in our new Tahoe because I wanted the V8 to sound like, well, a V8. They were willing to see us within the hour and when he pulled up the vehicle was on the lift within 2 minutes being worked on! They promised him 45 minutes until complete. They had it done in 40 and delivered. The Tahoe sounds exactly how I wanted and how they promised it would. Very pleased with Randy Collins and crew.

Alex and his boss were great ...they fixed my mothers hospital bed railing weld in no time and with a very reasonable price. Next time I need welding of any type, I know where to go.Highly recommended local shop for local folks like me.

I called this shop with the intention of getting straight pipes on my 2008 Dodge Charger R/T. They invited me to swing by and get the car on the lift. Minutes after arriving, the car was already on the lift and being examined. The mechanic said itd take about 2 hours.Fast forward 2 hours later, the job was done, clean and efficiently. AND WOW WAS IT WORTH IT.If youve got exhaust work, do it here. Randy, Alex, and the others were awesome to work with. If Ive got more work, Ill be coming back.

I had an extremely positive experience at Collins Muffler & Hitch when I had to take in my moms 2001 Toyota Corolla. My mom informed me that it needed some work on the muffler so that it could pass smog. I called him and he told me to come by early for the fastest turnaround. When I arrived, Randy and his guy Alex were expecting me. After reviewing the smog paperwork, they informed me that the car actually needed a new catalytic converter. Randy reviewed my options with me and gave me the prices for each. His prices for the catalytic converters and installation were very competitive, so I decided to go with a bit of an upgrade on the catalytic converter so that it would last as long as possible. 30 minutes later the catalytic converter was installed and I was back on the road. Throughout the process, I felt well informed and cared for. The waiting area was clean and comfortable; Randy and Alex were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional; and the quality of service was high. I was so glad that my friend recommended that I go here. It was well worth driving to Mission Viejo from San Clemente, and I will definitely go back anytime that I need work done on an exhaust system or new brakes.

I came in here to have a front muffler deletion on my new Lexus NX300 and I am very pleased with the work that was done on my car. Their recommendation to create the exhaust sound I wanted was spot on, the welding was fantastic and my car exhaust now has just a slightly menacing growl with a beautiful base and no drone. These guys know what theyre doing and know what needs to be done to get you what you want without going overboard. People hear the sexy growl of my car now and I wont ever get a ticket for having an illegal muffler.

Great shop and service for exhaust fabrication. Came here to get a custom exhaust for my Audi B7 A4 and couldnt be any more happier. Exhaust tone is deep and mellow with no drone. Randy was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and his pricing cant be beat.

Great shop! Installed the Magnaflow mufflers and 4 tips on my 2014 Mustang GT. The owner is very kind and offers great service and price. They not only did a great job on the installation they also painted the weld line. The alignment is perfect also, they had me double checked the alignment and asked me if any adjustment is needed before they weld on the tips. Highly recommended

I had breaks and rotors put on my car here. The service was fast and my car drives so much better now than it did before. While I was waiting I was offered coffee and my kids were entertained by cartoons. Overall great experience. I read reviews of this place being great price but they do over charge. Charged me 350 for one and quarter hitch w/o any electrical work. later I found out that I could have gotten that done for around 250.

I was searching for a place to do a resonator delete on my MY2016 BMW M235, as there were no off the shelf pipes to fit the cabrio version. All the reviews for Collins Muffler were great, so I called Randy and he gave me a great price. The shop is clean, well equipped, and easy to get to from the 5. The whole job couldnt have taken more than half an hour to have the resonator cut out and a new pipe welded in. Very professional. If you are ever thinking about doing this work on your car dont bother with an aftermarket pipe. Just go to Collins.

My overall experience with Collins Muffler was nothing but outstanding. I called on a Friday for a quick quote on installing exhaust tips on my BMW--price point was fair. I could immediately tell that Collins was knowledgeable and honest; I booked an appointment the following morning.The shop was located in an auto center, and it was kept extremely clean. My car had horrible piping and exhaust tips work done in Los Angeles previously. The tips were placed close to the bumper, and melted the plastic. Collins quickly pointed out all the errors the previous installer had done, and I was surprised to how clueless I was. As he pointed each flaw, he explained what he would do to avoid every error on the previous installers part in the new installation.When you go to Collins, you can immediately identify his one top priority for his customers--getting things done right the first time. I took his offer on purchasing some exhaust tips from his inventory that he advised would look awesome on my car--indeed they did! Watching the whole process of them installing the straight pipes, I was assured they were detailed and accurate at each stage in the process.I highly recommend Collins shop to anyone who needs muffler work done in the Orange County area. The dude is rad, with extreme passion in cars; we had an enticing conversation about Porsches and BMWs. Its good to know I dont have to drive up to LA anymore for work done on my car!

Exhaust header on my Westfalia broke the day before Thanksgiving on my way up from San Diego. It was near closing time and I called to see if they could do it. Not a problem! He was willing to stay open until I got there and took care of it for me for a great price!

Randy is a nice guy. Hes done 4 or 5 separate jobs for me, always left satisfied. Latest reason was for a cracked header collector (exhaust leak), which he welded up for $25.

Ordered an OBX bolt on catback and was getting crazy amounts of drone inside the cab of my 2014 Focus ST. Took it to Collins to get rid of the drone, it was done in less than an hour and the drone is pretty much gone. Amazing job and excellent customer service. Great muffler shop who knows MUFFLERS! Wheeled my Land Cruiser in for a quick quote and went straight to work! They even carry my favorite brand - Magnaflow! Old world skill, old world customer service with new school knowledge! Collins Muffler Shop has been in service for 30-years taking care of all the local community as well as the local automotive service shops. Just moved to a new office in this area making it conveniant and I asked for a good service shop and was promptly provided a business card! Great shop! I was early for my appointment but they took my car in and finished early.

I stopped by today. STRONGLY recommend this place. I got a hole at the exhaust pipe which is welded other place and some strange sound from the mufflers. This hole is eating fuel so quickly. At the first visit my impression? There is smaller than I thought. BUT their job and price are resonable. Im a maintenance guy, I can do myself. I tried buy a parts, and before I go this place I thought if they quot me higher price than I do myself, then I will do it. But they quot me lower than I do myself. Cau u believe this? Also I saw the welding bead its gooood. They did exactly what I want. Sometimes when you go to auto shop, they change me whole assys even only one patt is defected. Thats why Im not satisfied with some auto shops. But this place, you can trust.

Well I ordered a bolt on exhaust for my hyundai genesis coupe and looked for local muffler shops to install. Called to make an appointment and the guy told me just to come down early Saturday it would be no problem and it would be $75-100 for the install.so on Saturday I bring the exhaust and my car down to get it installed. after putting it on the lift he said oh its going to be 150 because these are tricky but hes done it before. whatever i know places will do it for 60$ in santa ana but its already on the lift.Come back at noon to pick it up. pay cash, ask him how it was. everything was fine good blahblahblah.ON MY WAY HOME i start to smell a burning plastic smell, and start to get worried.pull into my driveway and look underneath and a huge part of the exhaust was still wrapped in bubble wrap!!! WTF now its all melted over my brand new exhaust.I called them for an explanation of to why it was still wrapped in bubble wrap and they didnt know. Now i will spend my afternoon under my car peeling off melted bubble wrap.

The stock muffler on 2000 Civic rusted out and broke. They swaped it out in less than a hour and I left a happy customer.
