Great little coffee shop that roasts their beans in house, they dont over roast them like Starbucks. Chocobean also features an excellent assortment of high quality breakfast and lunch items that are fresh made daily and are not pre-packaged like Starbucks. Their Deluxe Mocha is my favorite and definitely worth trying! Chocobean had a 2nd location several years ago but Starbucks stole their location out from under them by approaching the property management company a year before their lease was up for renewal and negotiated a long-term lease for more money, leaving Chocobean without a home; shame on Starbucks!

Best Hot Chocolate Ive ever had 💯

Fantastic local coffee shop! The chai tea latte had the perfect blend of spice sweet and milk. Croissant breakfast sandwiches were delicious, made in house. They do their own deliveries too. I try to avoid chains when possible and this is why, its much better quality and flavor.

Only place I can find cafe bigra (Im sure the spelling is wrong) its a perfect blend of orange and chocolate with espresso. Yummm! Not only is the drinks awesome. The croissant sandwich is delish and the staff is friendly and most helpful.

Very nice staff. Super friendly, like they actually appreciate the customers who come in. This is probably because its an independent business, versus a big chain. Their coffee is great tasting and not excessively overpriced. Nice music. Newspapers to read. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food is good, too.

The owners and staff are super nice, super efficient and very welcoming. The coffee leaves the competition in the dust. Try the mochas. If you like it extra chocolatey, try the deluxe mocha. Both come with homemade whipped cream and real chocolate shavings. The coffee itself is first rate. Breakfast sandwiches are delicious!

The best coffee around. They roast their own beans in store. Also, they have been around forever. So, while the hipsters may like it, this place is not a hipster hangout. You can get a solid cup of coffee that tastes 1000% better than Starbucks. Also, they have a extra strength blend that is amazing. Very rich and dark tasting but with way more caffeine that usual.

Love this little place. Had the half sandwich and soup (chili) order and it was delicious. The chili was the highlight of the meal.

Coffee beans are roasted in house and the coffee is unlike anything I have had in Starbucks. Very flavorful without the usual burned taste. And the service is amazing. No matter how busy they are they treat me like I am their only customer.

Childhood favorite for hot chocolate and lemon chills. There used to be a location in Laguna Niguel at least 15 years ago, but was replaced with Starbucks. There is no comparison.

I love local cafes. Chocobean Coffee is tucked away in the shopping area at the corner of Oso Parkway and Marguerite Parkway. They roast their own beans and make excellent coffee. In addition to great coffee and WiFi they make salads and sandwiches.
