Our home deck is 1° from true south. It is on the edge of a mountain and the upper deck gets unbearably hot. Fabricon made us a 16 foot remote controlled awning that we can let out 5 feet to shade the windows and sliding door. When we want to sit out on the deck we no longer roast because the awning goes out 10 feet over the whole deck. It was a great investment and allows us to enjoy our house and deck much more during the summer. In the winter the awning stays in it’s protected aluminum cassette on the roof above the gutters out of sight. This allows us to take in the warmth of the sun in the winter and the furnace rarely turns on during sunny days until 8pm. Couldn’t be happier with the product, owner or employees.
