Weird store to say the least. It was a radio shack mixed with a flea market and ran by a helpful but grumpy old man that has been doing that for 40 years .he will tell u all about it dont worry.but over all he was helpful and the store hours are weird so make sure u check the hours hes open.

***BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE, EVER!!!***Due to the pandemic, I have been laid off waiting to go back to work, so I’ve had to cut cable tv costs. Tried several other antennas before driving out to Radio Shack on Schillinger Rd Mobile AL, where David knew exactly what I needed. Even though it was closing time, I never felt rushed!! David even put my antenna together for me (he actually does that for all of his customers). If you’re looking to improve your antenna reception, I highly recommend David at Radio Shack Schillinger Rd Mobile! I will definitely use him for all of my television/phone communication needs from now on! So glad I took the extra time to ride out to RS, so glad I’ve finally got all the channels an antenna should give you! Thanks Dave, you’re the MAN!!

I bought a great antenna and an amplifier from here. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful with coordinates to aim the antenna to get the channels we wanted most. He put the antenna together free of charge. He knows his equipment and answered all of our questions. Definitely recommend this place!

Cut the cable and get an antenna here. I bought a $70 antenna here (same price as ebay without the wait ). A $60 pole (in 5’ sections for easy transport and installation). A $50 amplifier and about $50 of quality cables and miscellaneous parts. Totaling $230; but now I’m set.I spent over$230 on junk antennas already. Those antennas would pickup between 10 and 36 channels. The setup from this store picks up 65 channels (WOW). I don’t even need to change the direction (the man at the store told me which direction to put it, and he nailed it).I’ve been trying to watch uninterrupted antenna TV for years. Nothing else even comes close.Every channel looks great. A++++++++++

I live in Costa Rica and I was on an extended vacation. I came into the store twice during my stay in Mobile. The first time I was looking for an audio connector that no one had. I went to all stores near me looking for it. I found it here! I was so happy!Then I needed a charger for an off the wall item. I did have an all device charger but wasnt sure on how to set the dang thing up. Plus I wasnt sure it would even be the right charger for the item. Not only did the employee assist me the second time in getting everything set up, he asured me that everything was working correctly. I also needed another item that he had in stock. He knows his stuff! I am impressed with his knowledge on how things work to figure out what is needed to fix your issue.I highly recommend Radio Shack on Schillinger Rd N for anything you need electronically!

Had just what I needed

I am a 73 year old female not very tech savvy. I have a 93 year old mother who is hearing impaired and she refuses to wear hearing aids. I have been trying to get headphones to connect to my TV for her and was told it could not be done as the sound would go to the headphones and I could not get volume on the tv for me to hear in the room. Well, I went to Radio shack in my area and was greeted by the most wonderful and helpful man, Darryl. He is terrific. He was patient with me and showed me how to connect to my TV. IT WORKS GREAT!. PS I did have to call him from home to get one more step I had missed. He walked me thru it. I will be shopping her in the future. I bet he wont be glad as I take up alot of his time,

The man gave me a digital voice recorder, when I wanted a tape recorder for school not only did he charge me over $60 for it but he charge me taxes for his store and then charge me a fee for RadioShack the device I actually bought is worth $24 so not only is he charging two tax fees but he’s actually double charging you for the price of the product And I really be filing a report with the badness bro with the device I have not used in the two receipts of the proof of it and he tried to tell me it was on sale and he couldn’t refund me for the device, so for the man if you’re reading this I have madecopies of the proof of your sticker and gave it to the bbb. so you have a good day with them and God bless

I went to Dave Keevans Radio Shack store to check out TV antennas and look at the store. Dave listened to my problem, and sold me an antenna he said would fix the problem. He was correct, the antenna that I purchased fixed all my reception issues. I am pleased with the results.

The service was excellent and friendly. The cashier helped me find exactly what I was looking for and answered all of my questions. They also do movie and game rentals for cheaper than Redbox!

What can I say.... RadioShack saved the day, (actually they saved me a bunch of money, and for that I just exaggerated a little). RadioShack truly is a one stop shop for many things that you just cant get anywhere else. Its like the Ace Hardware of Hardware stores, when you need it, nothing else will do. I never knew that I would actually miss it, until I needed it several times.Thank God for this independent rep.

I was in the back of the store when Mr Bobbitt came in trying to return a wiring harness. The man behind the counter told him the package had been opened and some of the wires had been cut. This merchandise was not returnable. This is just common sense! Mr Bobbitt threw the item across the room and began using foul language. The man behind the counter calmly explained the condition of the merchandise and the stores return policy. This situation is not uncommon these days and it was handled very well by the sales person. In fact it deserves a 5 star response. Dealing with the public in a small business is not easy these days, but this salesman has earned my respect

Great service, if you are male. Visited this store with my husband, and the owner followed my husband around the store offering to help him. He also regaled him with dumb wife stories much of the time. Very disrespectful. Merchandise was faded and dusty for the most part. He had a lot of old, hard to find parts I may have found useful or of interest for repair or tinkering. However, I will buy mine online rather than go there again.

I was looking for a single adapter that I needed immediately. Radio Shack had it and in store branding. The gentleman behind the counter when I walked in was smiling and joking and the place felt very friendly. This location also has movie rentals!

Purchased a amplifier and was told I had warranty if there was anything I didnt like about it. Well I didnt like it at all after testing it and tried to return it and was told that was manufacture warranty only and couldnt return it

I went in there today to buy some connectors that I needed. I was planning to spend around $60 because I saw a sign that said they have DVDs for sale. The guy that was there wasnt really a whole lot of help with the connectors but, no big deal. I started trying to ask him questions about these DVDs that are for sale. Instead, he starts telling me about vhs tapes instead. What? I dont know of anyone who uses VHS tapes. I tried to get him back to the DVDs and he wasnt having any of that. I got irritated with the situation and just pais for what I needed. I left and have no plans on returning there to do business. I will be looking around Mobile for another electronics/hobby shop. If anyone has any ideas, I would love to know. Thank you. Im not telling anyone not to shop there, imI saying I wont be back.
