Been visiting Pour Baby for a year now on and off, truly is the best restaurant in Mobile. Sat at the bar Saturday night, had a delicious meal, amazing lemon drop martinis and the dark headed gentleman waiting on me was so kind and on top of everything. They remember your name and what you drink each time you come in. 5 stars

We must have been under dressed because we waited but the person taking names didnt take our name. We waited about 30 minutes and finally left. My mother was with me and I wanted her to try it because I enjoyed it so much the other 2 times I had been there with co-workers. It was busy today. In previous experiences I enjoyed the food and the wine. They were excellent but pricey.

Always a great experience when I come here!! Love love love this place. But make sure to have your money ready. Great place for a date night or just wine with friends!!

The food was amazing. The atmosphere was divine. We had a very attentive waiter. The restaurant has a real nice vibe.

What an overall experience. From the time we walked in the door until we left, it was an A+ experience. I ordered an old fashion and my wife had a glass of Frank Family Zinfandel to start. I frequently visit cocktail bars in Birmingham and it was the best Old Fashion that I have ever had. We started with a custom cheese and charcuterie plate which was excellent and then went to entrees. I had the diver scallops and my wife had the filet and both cooked to perfection. We finished with a buttermilk pie which was like I remembered my grandma making as a kid. Ron was our server and made us feel at home and was very attentive. The manager also came to our table and described the beautiful artwork that hangs in the restaurant that we had some questions about. If you are in Mobile, Pour Baby is a must visit.

This was only our second time here, but again the service was great and the charcuterie board was fantastic. They have a great atmosphere and their food is delicious. Would recommend.

This place is totally on point. Im not particularly knowledgeable about wines and cheeses but their staff are. You can let them know what flavors you like and theyll put together a cheeseboard for you. Everything Ive had has been above and beyond.

I have been going here for several years now, and I have never had a disappointing experience.The atmosphere is always fun and lively without being overly loud. This restaurant attracts a more mature crowd which is something I prefer (25yo+).The staff is always very knowledgeable about the food menu as well as the drink menu. They’ve never pointed me in the direction of an item I didn’t end up loving.The wine list is exceptional, for they have picked some of the best for you to try in 1oz, 3oz or 5oz glasses. I like that they have the option to do different sizes because it allows you to taste more for less money than other restaurants.They have a wonderful menu of small plates, entrees, and desserts. Nothing on their menu is bad - ever!The cheese and meat selection for the charcuterie boards are also out of this world. Some of my personal favs pictured here are the following: cheeses are Mt. Tam, Red Dragon, and Campo de Montalbán and the meats are the chorizo and peppercorn salami. Their boards always feature a different marmalade along with fruits, pickled veggies, nuts and crostinis/crackers.All in all, they’re the best wine bar in Mobile, AL - better than Red or White and Cheese Cottage.

We made reservations for 8pm and we arrived a little early to get our seats. We met up there with a group of friends. We got sat near the bar at a small table. They gave us champagne for the inconvenience of not having our table ready. About 40 minutes later, we finally got our table. When we got sat at our table, we ordered a couple appetizers. I did like our appetizer, it pairs well altogether. We ordered our entrees and that took close to 40-45 minutes to come out. My pasta was slightly salty and the portion of the lamb was smaller than expected. It was good but not quite for the price we paid for everything. Overall, we were here for almost 3 hours. Im not sure Id be back but many others have had a better experience than my wife and I.

In town from Atlanta, my hotel recommended this quaint little wine bar across the street. The ambiance and decor reminded me of upscale places in Buckhead. The food was outstanding (Beef Tenderloin) and finished with Buttermilk pie as the server described tasted like Grandma’s house. Great service and an extensive wine list make this my new favorite place when traveling.

If you havent been to Pour Baby, youre missing out! First, yes to gluten free and dairy free! There are several options designated on the menu. See something else you like? Just ask! Hubs had the diver scallops made with olive oil instead of butter. He literally scraped his bowl clean. I had the shrimp scampi minus toast points and a romaine salad minus bacon (preservatives) and croutons. Took my leftovers to eat later because I was not leaving it behind. Were not really wine or beer drinkers, though they do have a small list of liquor. Not a problem. Go. Try. Pour. Baby. You wont regret it. Also, server was amazing. Oops, no pic of hubs plate, but it was nice.

Food was great with an outstanding choice on the charcuterie menu. The hot shrimp dip was excellent. I had the duck breast and it was PERFECT. Crispy skin and cooked perfectly medium--juicy and tender. The back room can be noisy but there was a party happening.

The waiter was magnificent and the food was superb. Definitely plan on going again.

Fantastic experience! We had the cheese board, a delicious fish dish and a dessert to share. Drinks were great and staff was friendly (they even have cool light up stylus pens).

Came by today with some friends. We ordered two red blends (I got the copper and thief barrel aged). We are a bit younger than the other patrons were and we felt like we were treated as such. Our waiter was not very friendly. Probably won’t return. We only tipped him well to prove to him we were worth his 30 minutes of service.

I have been wanting to try Pour Baby for a while now and I brought my cousin from Las Vegas with me, as well as another cousin who lives in Mobile. I was very disappointed to hear our server tell everyone around us the specials of the night except us. We were the only group of color and he only told us about the soup of the night because its a soup kind of night. I then heard him tell 3 other groups sitting next to us some totally different specials. They were out of crab that night so we started with the deviled eggs while we reviewed the menu but maybe if hed told us their specials we would have been inclined to order something else. Needless to say after I heard this, we left.

Excellent service, would recommend for a date night or drinks after work. The food is fantastic and the employees go out of their way to help provide a positive experience.

The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because theyre pricey. Other than that every thing was great. $40 for a bottle of wine that costs $16 in the store

100% amazing, the food and service was excellent!

I really had a great moment:- the owner introduced himself and spent few minutes chatting. It makes you feel appreciated- the decor is really nice- the service great- the food as well. I had the chicken grits (check out the photo)Next time I’ll be in the area I will definitively stop by again.

I called on a Thursday to make a reservation for the upcoming Saturday for approximately 6-8 people. I was told that the only time they had available was 9pm because they were expecting a few large parties that evening. I still accepted the 9pm time because my friends and I were excited to try them out and it was my Birthday celebration. Fast forward to Saturday, about half of my party arrived around 8:30 just to lounge and have a few drinks before we were seated and there was no issues with them seating us near the bar. Around 9:10, I asked the waiter when our table would be ready and he informed us that they were pushing the tables together at the moment. 5-10 min later we were seated and I immediately asked our waitress Kristin, who was very pleasant, to bring 3 orders of wings for the table to start. I’m glad that I did this since they were the last of the wings, as in they didn’t have anymore to cook! They were out of just about half of the menu, which was a bummer because we didn’t get the experience we were hoping for. I will say that the food we did get was pretty good, the atmosphere was nice and the staff was pretty pleasant for the most part (there was one gentleman with a beard who I felt could have been a bit more pleasant/welcoming but maybe he just had long day). I would go back but not on a weekend when they’re expecting large parties since they didn’t appear to be prepared to handle the amount of food orders although they knew they were expecting large parties this particular weekend.

I cant even describe how much this place brings us so much joy. From the bartender Ricky, to the amazing selection of food and beer. We have never been to a place where people want you to try their food, and know what you would like. Definitely coming here more often!

Beautiful space, excellent service, food delicious, and of course the wine was superb we went during happy hour and we got half off a bottle of wine . The ahi tuna was very good and we shared the chicken thighs and grits. Grits were super creamy and the crispy chicken skin was very tasty.

We had our Christmas party here this year. The meals were selected from the regular menu. I had the beef tenderloin. It was excellent!!! And from what everyone else said, everything else was just as good.The menu changes every couple of months, but Im sure the same will hold true with the other menus. I plan to visit later to try other menu items.This was by far the best Christmas party weve had! The staff was superb!PS:. Theres a review here saying the service was slow. Well, if you want fast food, try McDonalds. The entire experience is meant to be relaxing, not hurried, and fun.

If you havent tried Pour Baby you should. A revolving menu that is changing with the seasons. Always delicious. Wine is fabulous. Their staff is the best ever.

We finally made it over on Saturday! What a great experience. The staff was excellent. Terry and Kenny were there and the atmosphere and mood was enchanting. The food was great and the wine selection was superb! We will be back!

Great wines at expensive prices

Probably my favorite place in town. The staff are super friendly. The location is small and intimate but still on the casual side of formal. The menu is amazing with some of the best food options in town as well has hundreds of wines to chose from. I return every chance I get.

Their food has no flavor and my gumbo came out luke warm with no crackers or hot sauce. You cant be upscale and your food not be good. I wish the pan seared red fish had a Creole sauce instead of the lemon thing with those nasty vegetables. They a chef who cooks with flavor. The only thing that was good was the shrimp scampi and wine.

A true Mobile favorite. Big city feel in the deep south. Artisanal cheese selections are a great mix. My personal favorite the crab cakes and scallops

Beautiful upscale venue....but.....2018 Derby Day Event was way overpriced! We believed we were getting a package deal ( 2 tickets at $60 each) including wine, beer, games and gormet snacks. As we left, post Derby) waiter game out to tell us drinks ($50.90) were not included! There were no games included. Sorry ladies with hats! Shocked that event was almost $200 for us for a few very nicely prepared bar snacks!!!! Hey folks, how about a good faith future dinner credit?I am modifying and upgrading my earlier review to 5 Star. To compensate for our experience on Derby Day, we were treated to a gormet vegan dining experience.....food and wine superb! Staff and chef attentive and professional. We will dine with you again!

Im hoping that our next trip here we sit at a table off to the side. We sat at a high table in the middle. It was terribly loud. It reminded me of a sports bar. We couldnt have a normal conversation. The food and wine pairings were nicely done. It was just hard to get past the noise.

Been there since grand opening...LOVE IT! Kenny and Terry are so humble, so welcoming, so real.....food is one of a kind! Bartender and Waiteess are sexy as hell!

This is by far the best wine bar in Mobile. Dont let the exterior deter you, for once you walk through the front door you will feel transported to hip, trendy and modern lounge. The bartenders (aka: winetenders) are knowledgeable and helpful if youre in the mood to try something different. Theres also food (tapas & big plates), craft beer and different liquors on hand if youre not in a wino mood.
