This is one of my favorite places to be overall. The staff is knowledgeable and love to help. The owner is a very good person to ask questions to. I have gone over multiple times in one day and every time they either have a solution for me or know of a way to help. I might be passing by in a few minutes.

Dawes Hardware staff are just awesome folks. Once again they saved the day for me when my DIY yard project went South. My old chain saw was no longer cutting the heavy shrubs I was attempting to remove. I was two bushes done and six more bushes remained, in my yard project. I was stuck, I showed up at the store with pictures of my old chain saws serial and model numbers, with Bar and worn-out chain in hand. The gentleman took the chain and old Bar, didnt seem shocked or surprised, built me a new chain and had the Oregon replacement Bar in stock. Not an easy task for an old model chainsaw. Dawes got me back out the door with a new Bar and Chain. I was back in the DIY fight and completed cut down of the 6 remaining hedges to the ground. Bang, my chainsaw cut like Excalibur with the new parts. Thank you Dawes for being there, getting it right, and helping me complete my DIY project.

Loc hardware store that has a majority of items that big-box stores have. Steve runs a top-notch store. Reasonably priced with a local flavor. Recommend this store to all in the local area.

Old small town feel to the store. They have a beautiful pocket knife selection. And all so local honey is for sell. Just a real down to earth people who own and operate this business.

The neighborhood hardware is becoming a rare breed indeed. This gem of a place is a breath of fresh air in our world of big box stores. Mr. Steve and his team know what theyre doing and most likely have what you are seeking. Throw in a heaping helping of genuine Southern hospitality and it makes for a great experience. If I could rate 6 stars, I would! Give these good folks a look.

Mighty nice folks. Great selection for a country hardware store (almost as good as HD and Lowes). Prices are good. Some things are a little higher than the big box stores, some are actually cheaper. Their “customer service” is genuine, not what you get at the other stores. I’m a customer for life.

This was my first time to use this Hardware store. The folks here are about as friendly and courteous as you will ever find. I needed 20 bales of construction or decorative hay and they had the cheapest prices I had found. Just a small little “local” business but they are very well stocked and their prices seem to be very competitive with the super stores.

Nice mom and pop hardware store for locals.You greeted at the door with a traditional can I help you, sir? Get your lawn equipment parts here too.

They found some obscure part of a power washer for my fiance off of one that they had that was for parts - I didnt think it would be possible to find the part other than the internet. Nice and courteous staff, they make it happen :)
