I am not pleased AT ALL with the customer service here at Dean Mccrary Kia is Mobile, AL. I would never recommend their service department for any work on your vehicle. I would never purchase a vehicle from this place either because of how they conduct business!I will be leaving a detailed review very soon! You will come into this establishment with one issue and leave with another, that they cause, and want you to pay for. That is not right! I’m so disgusted with the service here! I will add another review once my issue is resolved.
Highly recommend requesting Brandon White. Hands down one of the most laid back dealerships I have ever been too. Not pushy or just trying to make a buck. This guy was genuinely all about getting what’s best for YOU. Overall, everyone we spoke with was easy and pleasant to deal with!

My daughter had an appointment at 8:30 she waited 3 hours for an oil change. She checked with service could not get an answer. I called from Gadsden Al and was told she had no info to give me . I explained my daughter made an early appointment 2 weeks ago because she has classes at USA. When I called back the 3rd time I talked to sales ( very nice person) and told him the problem she was having . He checked on situation and my daughter had her car within 15 minutes.

Dean McCrary Kia of Mobile is an absolute joke! My car has been in their service department for 6 months They never answer the phone and if you happen to get someone on the line it is one lie after another the car has full warranty on it and we still can’t get them to fix it! Adam in service will tell you your part has been ordered And will be there in 4 weeks but 4 weeks later Juanita will tell you the part hasn’t been ordered yet like I said what a JOKE! We have asked to speak to someone over them and obviously they have no management in that place so avoid dean McCrary at all cost!!!
Kia service is the worst. They never answer the phone and regardless of your service they want to keep your vehicle all day. This has been a bit of an issue - even pre- COVID. When asking about your car’s services after rendering- its like pulling teeth to get information. I recently dropped off my car at 8:45, used the shuttle back home. Prior I called service numerous times to ensure a shuttle and explain I needed to be in my car no later than 4. If it would be later to please call me and I would delay some service and reschedule. I received no phone call and at 4 had still not been picked up. I called service again.. many times. Mazda had to physically walk over to make them answer the phone. ( this is an ongoing issue) they informed me that the shuttle would get me when he could. Spoke to a manger and it was like speaking to a child who had no comprehension skills. He told me next time maybe I should take a earlier shuttle. You think? Never offered a solution - only a condescending tone. Kia has no concept of customer service, value of peoples time, etc. if it wasn’t for the required service warranty- I wouldn’t step foot on their lot again.

I came into Dean McCrary not knowing what to expect I met with Tyler Winn (who is absolutely amazing) I came in looking to trade my car.. After being turned down at 2 other dealerships I didn’t have high hopes at all.. Tyler definitely changed that around quick!!! I am about to drive off in a brand new 2022 KIA K5!!!!!!!! This is a horrible place of service! I purchased a brand new vehicle and had an issue with my head lights from day one. After several inspections, I was told it was a manufacturer defect and parts would have to be ordered. Two years later I’m still begging for them to fix my lights! And the owner states (rudely) there’s not even a mention about my lights in the notes, no one ever tried to order them. Not to mention I’ve waited 2 hours on a simple oil change nearly every time! This is the first bad review I’ve ever written and it Most definitely needed to be said!!

I purchased a new car there in 2015. I moved from Alabama shortly thereafter. For the last two years I constantly receive automated calls asking me to purchase again. I have repeatedly asked dealership staff, including the general manager, to stop these calls to no avail. Im on the do not call registry and block all the calls from them. Unfortunately, the calls go directly to my voicemail. Obviously the dealership doesnt care if former customers are bombarded with these calls. I recommend you stay far away from Dean McCrary Kia

I’ve known too many people get ripped off from this dealership. Not only are their vehicles over priced, the service center is even worse. In fact, they lie about what they perform on your car and won’t even print out a receipt evidencing the supposed work they performed. Do not trust this dealership and especially the service center. I’d rather take my vehicle to Dishonest Joe’s Car Kit Repair shop because at least I know my expectations will be met.
Treated like family. My husband and I purchased our daughters 1st Kia Forte. Fully loaded..they made sure to show her how to connect her phone up to the car so she could be safe and hands free from her phone,..while driving..that little bit of extra time was very nice..We will be back when me and my husband are able to get us a new truck. Lol
So if you are looking for a new car I suggest y’all come see Mr.James Leatherwood. He is the very best when it comes to getting you in some new wheels. He is honest and is not trying to take all your money 10/10 would definitely recommend.
Had an appt at 1:45pm for an oil change. Two and a half hrs later I was still waiting for my car. Most people in waiting room had been there several hrs. This is the worst service center ever. This happens every time you come for service. Will never buy from Dean McCrary again.
We got a used car from this Kia dealership in Oct 2020- the financial office talked us into paying an extra cost every month in order to cover paint,tires, windshield, etc. The 1st week there was an issue w/ the dashboard light and I had some paint issues they stated they would take care of. They kept my car *all day* on Oct 12, then when I finally picked the car up they had only changed a spark plug and said they did not know how to contact their paint guy to fix the paint issues, but they would contact me. I continued to call about the paint, the tires, the windshield, oil changes, noreturn call, no return email. I sent emails to the service dept complaining that I had not heard from anyone, I spoke with the service receptionist and stated that I had been continually ignored and that Jessee the manager had never called me back and I have called since October. Now it is May, I have left messages and emails and...nothing. TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPT! My issues are still issues, and the dept does not respect the customer enough to return a phone call. Be aware...

I am buying a 1999 Kia Rio. When I went in to try to get a car they put me in one alright but they did not listen to me. I tried to explain I could not pay but so much a month and no more. But instead they put me in a car I can not afford so I am having to get help to make my payments. Yes they have some good deals but they dont listen to the customer all they think about is selling that car

Worst dealership I have ever encountered. Had an appointment to fix recall and had car towed to dealership. Upon arrival of vehicle, I received a nasty call from Service dept saying I could not just have my vehicle dropped off there. I told her that Ive had an appointment for 2 months. She then told me my vehicle had to be towed back to my home because they were backed up 3-4 months. She refused to let me speak to the Service Manager. I was livid! I then called Gunthers Kia in Daphne and they told me to bring the vehicle there and they would take care of me and that it may 2-3 weeks before repairs started and I told them that would be fine. I will NEVER do business with them. JUST HORRIBLE!!

I bought my Q5 a little over a year ago when Dean McCrary still sold Audi/Porsche. When I purchased my Q5 I bought some Ancillary Warranties that are now still owned/managed by Dean McCrary. So I went to use one of these warranties and got an unexpected ear full of information which did not line up with the information provided by the Dean McCrary employee. Surprise surprise this employee was terminated by the new Audi dealer for these very reasons. Needless to say this left me trying to find someone at Dean McCrary that could assist me in getting my money back. This road lead to me to a dead end named Bill, the GM at Dean McCrary. Bill apparently has a hearing problem as the entire time I explained this warranty was falsely sold to me and my husband, Bill wanted to argue over my reasonings for wanting to use the warranty. When I explained my Audi service rep had issues also getting someone to give direction, Bill wanted to spout and holler about how he knew this individual and spoke to this person on a daily basis and would call this person right now while I was on the phone......well, Bill never called this person and I checked.....Bill doesn’t know this person either or talk to them. As the infantile conversation continued I advised Bill of his unprofessional behavior and that obviously this was a Dean McCrary wide issue, Bill decided it was best to yell at me (a female) that I wasn’t getting any money back. Which by the way is legally not possible Bill. I could get a prorated amount but I feel the full amount is owed since we were “baited and hooked”.People, do not buy from Dean McCrary and don’t buy into the warranties. If you have a warranty for life then read the fine print as I hear that has been an issue for Audi owners who purchased from Dean McCrary also. Bad business!! And what company promotes people who argue with customers.....if you can’t handle customer issues then find a different job!!!!!

Gave one star because I couldnt give zero. This dealership has had our car in for repair for MONTHS, with no resolution in site. They try to avoid talking to us. We are making payments on a car we do not have. Its CRAZY!
Purchased a new 2021 Telluride a couple months ago have taken it twice back to dealership to have a stained headliner cleaned that was delivered to me with stained headliner. Passenger door out of alignment not opening properly. First trip fixed part of issue. Returned to dealership at 3000 miles to have the rest of the issues corrected along with oil change and tire rotation. Picked my car up after almost 2 weeks oil was not changed nor tires rotated. Had to still wait while door trim was fixed!!!!!! Not happy now having to take time off again to get oil change. I have other models of kia. I have always had exceptional service at Pat peck kia dealership I wish I would have ordered a car from them
I am not happy I have been trying to call and make a service appointment in my car for over a week now no one answered and other departments transfer me and still no answer no call back or anything this is horrible service.

The staff in the service department is amazing. I know because Im there a LOT. I purchased a used Sedona in 2017. The salesman found a car in my range, but dismissed a lot of my questions and pushed me toward the finance department. When I got there, I had questions and the finance department got huffy with me because the salesman had not answered my questions. I was frustrated but badly in need of a vehicle, so I had no choice but to go with it. Since then, there have been multiple recalls on the vehicle and multiple repairs needed. The salesman boasted about the warranties, but so far those warranties have covered nothing. I reached out to the dealership about trading in for something better and got some of the most unmotivated service I have ever received. Rather than sitting down and figuring out what they could do for me, I felt that the salesman did not want to deal with me or make a sale. It was on me to find a way to make it work, and if I did, call him back. He offered one vehicle without any options to make it fit my budget and did not address any other options. I am very frustrated with Kia and this dealership in particular. I do not feel like a valued customer or that they want my business. I recommend going somewhere else.
Good Customer Service is not defined by a lack of problems. It is defined by how you respond to problems when they happen. We had an issue and we we were able to sit down, define the problem, and reach a mutually beneficial solution. That’s about all you can ask for.
Nelson was such a helpful salesman who worked so hard for us. We worked the whole deal over the phone with him since we lived in another state. He and Tod stayed after hours to wait for us and was never in a rush to finish the sale just so they could go home. There were a few things that needed to be taken care of with the car so they offered us a loaner car so they could work on it the next day. They worked all day to make everything perfect for our car buying experience. We were so impressed at the professionalism and warmth that was given to us that we highly recommend this dealership to anyone who wants to feel cared for and not just another commission. Thank you Nelson and Tod for all that you did for us. We thoroughly enjoy our new Kia Stinger!!!

We recently bought a 2017 Sorento. Prior to completing the sale, I inspected the outside (tires, brake lights, headlights, etc...). After the purchase was final, we drove straight home. The next day I noticed that one of my tail lights was busted and part of it missing. I also realized that the 3rd row seats were down so I decided to raise them. When I raised them, I saw seats FULL of sand. Not just a little. It looked like someone had turned over a sand bucket in the seats. I believe that the service department busted my tail light but they will not accept responsibility. The lack of detail in cleaning the car shows just how much they care. Who sells a car with seats full of sand???!! Dean McCrary does, thats who. I will not recommend them to anyone. As someone from a management background, I can assure you, I would not allow this lack of service. The utter lack of attention to detail should be an embarrassment to Dean McCray himself. Ronny Smith, our salesman, agreed to one price but when it came to financing it was $6,000 more than agreed.

Cust. Serv. In Serv department is bad they promised to come pick me up and never showed. They kept my car 4 days just to check why my check engine light was on and they will not keep you informedand it does not take 4 days to figure out why the check engine light is on and one day replace my engine because Kia had manufactured bad enginesthey never would call me in 6 weeks I had to call them to find out anythingI am done with Kia I will never purchase another Kia Im already telling people not to buy a Kia their service department is the worst
I asked for information on a vehicle via the website. Two questions that should be easily answered and did not concern price at all. the response I got back was, CAR IS HERE WHEN CAN YOU COME SEE ME in the subject line without a single word within the email, other than Emmettes contact info. I am shocked at this terribly shady and rude business practice and will not be looking further into the vehicle.
Mike Smith is a wonderful non-pressure sales man. Had a wonderful selection of used cars. They have the best warranties in the area of the dealers we visited! Wait time to sign papers was about an hour. Not what I wanted but acceptable. I am loving my new used car!

The service was fine. However not one employee was wearing a face mask in a city that leads the state in covid 19 cases and deaths. I also asked for my Sorento to be wash and if they wash it they missed two hand prints on my hood.

I had a terrible experience with their service department. On June 8th, I had 5 different warning lights come on on my 19 Sorento with 31,000 miles. I took it to the dealership and they read the codes. They told me that I had to bring it back the following Monday and leave it so they could diagnose it. I asked if they had a loaner that I could use and they said they didnt. I only have 1 car, but I thought, only 1 or 2 days and Ill be okay. Well, it took it in, leaved it and waited for a call. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, no call so I called them Friday morning. The rep told me they had diagnosed the problem, but it was an expensive part and they had to okay it with Kias headquarters so they could order it. It was going to cost about $1200. They hoped to have it approved on Monday. I didnt have a car over the weekend. Monday came (thats one week they had it) and I didnt hear anything. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, again, nothing. I called Friday morning and she said that Kia had approved it on Wednesday (6 days wait) and they had ordered the part on Thursday. This time, Im getting a little frosted because I am going on 2 weeks not having a car. I have to admit to losing it a little and I told her that I was going to call Kias corporate and complain about this because it is taking too long to get done. I especially told her that I needed a car and that I would take a car off the used lot, I NEEDED A CAR! She said to hold on, I did and she came back and told me they would get me a loaner, a 19 Rio! The smallest car they have and I am a big guy. I agreed and went and picked it up. We had the car over the weekend and she told me theyd call when they had my Sorento finished. She said the part ought to be in on Monday or Tuesday and it should be done by Wednesday. In the meantime, I have to take my wife, who is disabled and in a wheelchair to the doctor on Tuesday. I got her in this tiny little car okay, but we had a time getting the wheelchair in the back compartment. But, we did go and came back okay. This little car was so small, I had a hard time getting in an out of it. Each time I went to get in, I hit by head on the roof. Anywho, I called them on Wednesday, the part came in just as they were going to close and they said it was sitting on the desk and would put it in first thing on Thursday morning. By Thursday afternoon, I went over there, walked in and the girl told me that they still hadnt gotten to my part yet. We are coming up on 3 weeks of me not having my car. I asked to speak to the owner or the head honcho of the dealership. A fellow came out and I let him have my mind! I told him that I knew what was going on, that anytime they have to do anything with approving a repair, or ordering a part, my car goes down to the bottom of the work orders and I was sick of it. I told them that if my car wasnt finished by tomorrow afternoon, I was going to get in the Rio and drive to West Point, Georgia, where they make these things and complain to whoever was there. I also told him that I was the squeaky wheel and that I was going to leave bad reviews on every website I could and that I was NEVER going to buy another car from them. I had had 5 straight Hyundais, and was ready to buy another Santa Fe, but the Hyundai dealership wasnt willing to deal with me so I tried a Kia, which is a cousin Hyundai. I was VERY dissatisfied with them. He apologized and I told him, Buddy, I dont want your stinking apology, EVERYONE apologizes, but that doesnt get my car to me! I hung up on him after writing a list of names down. Right at 4:00, he called back and told me I could pick up my Sorento, I went and got it and drove on. They had my Sorento for 15 days on a pretty simple part change. It shouldnt have taken but 3 or 4 AT THE MOST to get it done. Ive called KIas headquarters and told them what I think. Ive bought my last Kia, I can assure you.

I had the best experience ever Justin Sales the sales manager made sure I was comfortable and never waiting long for my transaction to be completed, Finance Manager Z took care of me like I was red carpet customer. I came in to get air in my tire and its going to cost $160 for a new tire 6 months after buying the vehicle and that didnt put the air in my tire when that was the purpose for the visit. As I was driving to get on the interstate the car started swaying because the PSI was 17.
I walked in not knowing what to expect to some degree I thought maybe that I might have a opportune time to maybe make a good deal on something whether new or used when I walked in the door I met a man named Brian Williams and I must say Im so glad that I did Brian not only went out of his way to make me feel welcome even though I am disabled my wife as well he went out of his way to help me to take care of what I needed to make my experience one of the best I could ever possibly of hopeful Christmas has never been but I had Christmas this day. I would like all who see this to know that they could probably go to a lot of other places in Mobile but I would be willing to bet my social security but they will never find anyone else who would go out of their way to get them the best deal on the planet I dont know much about social medias but I would highly recommend Anyone who reads this or sees this post if you are even remotely considering buying a new or used car please please give Brian Williams from Dean McCrary to call. After I decided to bring the Kia back and get my old car I traded in back. My car had a huge forklift dent in the rear bumper, a big crack on the trunk probably also from a forklift, and my car wouldn’t crank and after a jump off was running worse than before. I don’t know what happened in these 8 days but I was brushed off and no explanations were given. I definitely won’t be doing business with them again.

Almost 3 hrs for oil change...can not quote price for tune up?Does not go over service inspection with me and also for the 3rd(and last time)did not reset my service light ...used to be much more customer oriented but now it is like they want to run you off!!! I need another car but will not be buying here..ever since the male service manager has been gone the service is not there..very disappointed!!!!
Everyone was very nice answered all questions. My salesmen Dustin made sure I understood everything helped me through the entire process. The manager was very helpful and friendly. The financial man went through all paperwork made sure I understood what I signed. I have enjoyed my Kia Soul and my experience at Dean McCrary.Thank you all so much
I’m on vacation in the area and had a problem with a slow leak in one of my tires. I stopped by the KIA dealership to see if I could get someone to help. One of the service representatives had me meet him in back to check my tire for me. He thought it was just low because of the cold air we were having. He checked all my tires, put air in my tire that was low and I was on my way. This was on a Friday morning. On Sunday morning, my tire was low again. I put air in it again and decided I needed to go back to the dealership. Monday morning, I drove the 33 miles to Mobile and asked them to check my tire. I was a “walk-in” so I knew I’d have to wait a while. After two hours, my car was ready. They had found a bolt lodged in my tire. They repaired it for me and did not charge me for the repair. This dealership went above and beyond to help me. I’m grateful they were there for me. I would highly recommend them.

Purchased a Telluride from them last month and the vehicle is great. My salesmen was James Leatherwood and he was fantastic. He went above and beyond with communication and photos (as I live out of state). He emailed me promptly and let me video chat to see the vehicle in detail. Great person and salesmen, would recommend.The owner reached out to me via phone call after I had emailed him some minor gripes about my overall experience (warranty explanation and paperwork copies) and he spent 17 mins on the phone with me correcting the issues. Had a few problems at first. went in for a truck and was belittled by one of the salesmen. Still purchased a car. Will probably go somewhere else in the future to get my truck
