Ive been going here for almost seven years now. Simply the best record store I have been in. Ive been in record stores in six states and major markets since I got into vinyl again in 2014. None of the places match their classic rock selection and prices. Plus, Keith and Nick have a wealth of knowledge, great stories and always willing to help. Such a wonderful place for vintage vinyl and hang out.

This places has a huge collection of quality vinyl and are always getting more. Keith is great to talk and listen to. He is extremely knowledgeable and can tell you anything you need to know about any vinyl in that shop. The other gentleman is also very good. They have great prices and the atmosphere is laid back. Its a true music shop. One of the best Ive been to.

Finally got to visit this awesome record shop, my kids have been begging us to stop here since our last vacation last year, it’s wall to wall boxes of records, new and used and really great prices, proud dad moment my daughter bought her first original pressing of Led Zeppelin II. Our Airbnb has a record player so she has been listening to it all day, we plan on stopping again on Our way back home!

My son absolutely loves this place. And they have every genre you can think of. Very knowledgeable owners and staff. I think hes from the UK with the accent. Maybe hes from a long lost British pop band that had a one hit wonder and then he settled here in Mobile Alabama! It could happen.

Great place to go exploring records- mostly used, but there is a whole wall of more recent records in new condition. Owner is friendly and knowledgeable, can usually recommend something youre looking for.

Nice record shop with lots and lots of vintage records. Shop owner was a cool guy and very helpful and knowledgable. Was a little hot in the store but its hard to cool and old building with one small window unit. I will definitely be going back for more records soon.

Made the trip out to this store which is around 60 miles from me. Totally worth it! They have a huge selection of records that are priced fair according to condition. My girlfriend and I spent quite a bit of time in this store and could have spent more. The owners are very helpful and fair when it comes to buying and selling. Words cannot describe what a great shop this is. Was able to find more diverse selection than in much larger shops in much larger cities. This place has everything. Great punk and metal section, also sells cassettes and various other formats. Gift certificates available. If youre within 100 miles of Mobile, Alabama, or just passing by, take a few hours and hunt. You will absolutely not regret it.

The most amazing people with the most beautiful knowledge of music; They have vinyl, CD, Cassette, apparel, knickknacks, and more. The prices are absolutely outstanding and the owner is extremely friendly and is very welcoming to people of all kinds. They are open seven days a week and one of the employees names is Nick. He can assist you with almost everything music and has a wonderful personality. You will find what you need at Mobile Records, and if you cant they will either get it in at some point or order it. Mobile Records on Sage is fantastic; Mobile would not be the same without it. Thank you.

Great little vinyl shop. Not terribly large but crammed to the gills with collectors finds & music related collectibles. Competitive pricing, awesome staff - very knowledgeable and friendly, near mall & other shopping/ dining. Keith and his crew are top notch!

The Gulf Coasts greatest record store they literally have everything. Tool, Earth Wind and Fire, The Commodores, Prince, Styx, The Mulligan Bros, Hank III, Hank Jr and Hank. Honk if you love Hanks! The owner is awesome, they have clothing and CDs as well, check them out!

My kind of old school record store! Vinyl 45 records stacked randomly all over the place. You just need to dive in and start searching. I managed to find around 20 singles in no time at a decent price (compared to Wales UK). Nice guys to deal with, shame I didn’t have time to stay longer.

Have been here severals time, its always a pleasant experience. Showed up for Record Store Day this year and it was a breeze by comparison to some of the horror stories Ive heard from across the country. They opened early, had extra employees on hand, only allowed certain number people in the store at a time, and had two lines for checkout. Super great experience.

This place is fantastic! Stopped by on our way to Gulf Shores and it was honestly the highlight of my trip. They have a huge selection of vinyls by just about any artist you can think of. They are also extremely affordable! I would highly recommend visiting if you have a few minutes to spare!

An amazing store. Great owner. I moved here in July 2019 from Tampa Bay, which for reasons unknown has a plethora of excellent independent record stores (Bananas, Clearwater Records, Kingfish, Planet Retro, Microgroove, Mojo’s...). Here in Ft Walton Beach, there’s only one (but very good) source, Ft Walton Vintage Vinyl. Though a two-hour drive, Mobile Records is a gem.

Every time Im in Mobile I have to go to Mobile Records, the best record store in the southeast. The prices are very reasonable. My only complaint is the backroom needs shelves built to somewhat organize the massive amount of vinyl laying on the floor. I wanted to go through the 45s back there but the lack of floor space kept me away.

If you love old music, are into vinyl or memorabilia, and havent been here, you will enjoy reminiscing through the jam-packed place. Main guy in the store is super knowledgeable, engaging and helpful, and will let you hear a track or two. He keeps a local section, and has a good knowledge base about local music history in many genres. There are a lot of accessories related to vinyl, such as one of those little things that goes in the middle of a 45 to play it on a turntable. We pulled out Granddaddys old 45s for the teen who is discovering vinyl for the first time. You can sell your old records, too! He knows exactly what the market pays, or will look it up. The place is drowning a bit and looks like it could use a few more people hours, but the charm is there.

This plane has an amazing collection of almost any album you could hope for AND they will be fairly priced. A great place to spend an afternoon!

Great place for new and used records! All main genres are covered from Punk to Country, Jazz and Classical. Ill be visiting this place at least once a month!

Love this place for records, they clean their records very well and price them according to quality which is nice. The manager or owner is always really nice when we are in. And they have a huge selection!

Really nice owner and a huge vinyl selection of many genres at crazy low prices. Yeah a lot of the albums are a little scuffed up, but $3-6 LPs that play well are always welcome on my turntable. Some new records and reissues, but this place has one of the best used record sections Ive seen anywhere, and ranges from OG pressings of classic albums to better than average bargain bin stuff. Definitely check this place out if youre in Mobile.

Best place to get your vinyl. It can be a bit hot in there so dont bring a big old coat in. Loads of variety, from Milli Vanilli to the traditonal folk music of Ireland.Also a good place to go if you collect anything music related, they usually have a lot of rare or highly saught after items, all reasonably priced.

I drove 2 hours to this store because of the good reviews and highly knowledgeable staff. They werent wrong. Walked in and there was an array of vinyl and accessories eveywhere. Everything you can think of. Had a really good selection- stuff I couldnt find anywhere else. Keith and Nick were friendly and actually thought me something about wax pressing on a Tracy Chapmin album. If you do go there, make sure you dedicate some time to look because they have everything and they have some of the best prices Ive seen at any store. I would highly recommend going there and this wont be the last time I drive that far for good selection and service.
