Took m y 2021 Palisade to get its first oil change. I purchased it at a dealer in Des Moines. But needed a local Hyundai dealer to do service. I decided to try Green Family. I booked early morning 0730 appointment online. They called me on the phone confirming the appointment. Took the car in at got there a few minutes early. The service door was promptly opened right at 730 am. Check in was fast and friendly. I asked a bout a weighting area and was directed to the door leading to the waiting area which was at one end of the showroom/sales area. Area had TV with free coffee and soft drinks. There was also a vending machine for snacks. A few minutes after sitting down I received a text from the service desk saying if I needed anything let them know. I was told at check in it would take and hour and that was how long it took. From waiting area I could see dealer car wash so when I saw my car come out, I knew it was done. I waited a few minutes and headed back to service desk. I waited few minutes for service advisor to return and signed paper work and was on my way.

Set up an appointment for an oil change/first service 3 weeks prior to the appointment date. The day of my appointment, I get a phone call 6hrs beforehand that they dont service that vehicle because its too new and couldnt obtain the correct filter. Not sure how a top rated dealership couldnt manage to tell me that anytime before the day of my appointment, or just not scheduled me in the first place.

I recently purchased a 2020 Hyundai Kona from Green Family Hyundai. Based on my previous experience buying vehicles, I prepped for how to say no to all the crazy things Id be offered, and how to deal with being pushed into getting tons of add-ons I never asked for. I prepared for pushy sales people and even pushier managers. I even prepped for being pushed into a higher-priced car I never asked to look at.Im here to tell you that you dont need to do any of this if you go to Green Family Hyundai. Literally every person I talked to there, from the sales woman I worked with (Jessica, I highly recommend you ask for her) all the way up to her manager that processed the paperwork was exceedingly nice, understanding, and never even hinted at being pushy like typical car sales people.I was offered a few add-ons during signing (extended warranty, road hazard protection, Etc.), but I was able to look at all the options, have them explained to me in detail, and decide what I did and didnt want. There was no further pushing beyond just explaining my options, they simply added what I wanted and moved on.Beyond any of that, they do a great job of creating a very welcoming and comfortable environment for you as a customer. I cannot recommend Green Family Hyundai highly enough.

I found a nail in my tire with a quick air leak. The next available appointment wasnt until a week out, but the Green Family Hyundai Team got me in same day. There were no bays available when I arrived, yet I was out in less than 30 minutes. To top it off, I was told there would be no charge for the tire patch.My Hyundai has never been serviced anywhere else since purchasing new from them 3 years ago, and its going to stay that way.

Searched and found what I wanted within a day, was able to pick up my new vehicle the same week and explained to me very clearly the different settings and usage of all the options in the dashboard. They could do better. Car sputtered to a stop and was blowing smoke out of the exhaust AFTER i left the shop. It was just fine on the way up and then they told me “it couldnt have been us we only updated your software and replaced this rubber piece”

One of the BEST car buying experiences we have ever had! We live 90 minutes from the dealership and were having a very hard time with local dealerships who couldnt get the car we were looking for on the lot and one of the dealerships that had horrible customer service and would not talk about the actual sticker price to sell us the vehicle but insisted we buy optional service packages before they would sell us the car.So we did our own searches and it just so happened that Green Family Hyundai had exactly the car we were looking for and boy am I thankful they did. The process was smooth from the moment we contacted them.We negotiated an extremely fair trade in value for our car over the phone/email before we even left our house which other dealers in Illinois refused to do. They were prompt, pleasant, responsive and just plain GOOD people. We worked specifically with Doug K. and he was EXCELLENT and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good car buying experience. He specifically gave me faith in the car business that good people can also be great sales people!Once we squared everything away over the phone Doug quickly got the process going, the car ready and everything moving as we had a very tight time frame to get to the dealership and back home in time for our kids evening activities. Once there, there were no curve balls thrown at us, no pressure to purchase more than what we were comfortable with. We were given some add-on options but when we politely declined that was the end of it and we moved on with the process. This is the way car buying should be, it is supposed to be exciting for the buyer and today was just that for my husband and I.I can see why Green Family has the word family in the name, as that is how everyone we spoke with treated us...like we were real people and not just a sale. Buying experience here was great but once you begin to deal with the service department you will regret dealing with this place. The service department does not communicate well. They have had my car for 3 days and have yet to provide the loaner car that I was told I would be getting. Service is horrible.

This visit was almost a pleasant experience (if car buying can ever really be pleasant). Compared to the other Hyundai dealer in Davenport (wink wink), this visit was no nonsense, which I prefer. Although the process took a whole lot longer than I anticipated it would, it was less hostile than other dealers, which ultimately make them less shady than their competitors. The finance guy was even pleasant and straightforward, and I was shocked to realize that I was expecting the opposite. No tantrums, no dramatics, just a simple transaction. They really make other dealerships pale in comparison.What a pleasant surprise Green Hyundai is. I will definitely be back! Also, Mike was a great guy, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Josh and Dakota are helpful and answer my questions if need be. I usually request a shuttle to head back to work while my car is serviced, that’s always a plus. I have not completed a purchase yet and am shopping among several other dealers, but have found the very good deal offered by the GM Chad and his ability to cut to the chase most refreshing. I must admit they are working hard to earn my business.I felt compelled to update this after purchasing a vehicle: You know how you think there has to be a better way to go about buying a car, with all the games dealers play? Well, Green seems to have found a better way.They were very professional, upfront and I am hard pressed to even think of anything negative to say, and Im a tough customer. This place is definitely worth a look, even from a greater distance, like myself. While they didnt have the color my wife wanted, the price was quite a bit below every other place, and we reached an agreement to buy and we were just going to pick a color among the inventory. It was a total surprise when they called back later and said they had the opportunity to obtain the color we wanted in a swap with another dealer that wanted one of their other vehicles. I consider this totally above and beyond and dont think many dealers would have gone the extra mile to secure a favored color AFTER an agreed sale. This is not the reason for a positive review, but rather just a clear example. A business like this is such a welcome change to the market. Kudos!

I went January 22 and Patrick sharp helped me buy myself a brand new Hyundai Elantra. They were very patient with me and allowed me to get the car of my dreams. Me boyfriend and I loved their service so much and their cars, that we came back today, January 23 and my boyfriend decided to buy a car from them as well. When I first walked into Green, I was very impressed with the friendly customer service. Everyone greeted me with a smile and acknowledged my presence. I must say, I have never been to a dealership where I felt as though THEY were working to help ME instead of pressuring me into to buying. To make a long story short, WILLIAM JONES was my salesman. Let me tell you, this man went ABOVE and BEYOND to get me into a vehicle. Not only did he want to get me into something affordable, but he wanted to get me into something that was safe and dependable for me and my children. Found the vehicle online and did most of the deal via email before we made the hour drive to the dealership. Was VERY glad Jessica was so willing to answer questions this way and even did a video walk around of the vehicle for me to get a closer look at everything. When we went to look at it she had it indoors and had it displayed like we were buying a brand new car! They were very easy to deal with and made the whole buying experience very enjoyable. We even kept them there past closing and they were still making sure everything was taken care of before we left. Patrick was very attentive & helpful throughout the buying process. At no time did he try to upsell or oversell. Patrick looked for exactly what we asked & found it in short order. I am very pleased with his service! On one occasion there was a bit of a mix up when I bought my truck. The dealership was fixing something that was wrong as per our negotiations before purchase. I showed up after work to pickup the truck but it wasnt finished yet. Patrick said he would drive it to my home the next day & drop it off so as to not cause any more inconvenience to me. He didnt have to do that. I am both pleased and impressed with Patrick Sharps service. I will be returning the next time I get a new vehicle.

Been using this dealerships service department for 7-8 years now. Work is always first class. None of that up-sell that has been the routine of auto dealerships nationwide for decades. I feel that I can actually trust them if I get a call about an unknown issue. I always tell a dealerships sales department that my decision to buy one of that brand is heavily weighted on the service department, and thats true. Our next cars are likely to be Hyundai as well. We own a 2002 Hyundai, a 2007 Nissan, and a 2017 Kia. (Hyundai didnt have an SUV model as large as the Kia, but we shopped Hyundai first) It wont be too many years until we likely own 2 more Hyundai because of Greens service--and the brand of course is a solid vehicle.

I purchased my 2016 Elantra from William Jones at Green. The experience from start to finish was excellent. Mr. Jones was lovely to work with - helped me find exactly what I wanted, had tons of helpful information about the vehicle, and he even found a radio station with thumping bass so I could properly evaluate the speakers during my test drive. :) I highly recommend Mr. Jones.Working with the finance department was very straightforward, and every time I visit for a scheduled check-up the service department, Josh makes me feel like theyre thrilled to see me.A+ for everything. Matt Bohler was the sales representative who assisted us with the purchase of a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. We first came to the dealer looking for a 2014 Sonata because of year end discounts being offered. They had only one left. We test drove it and liked it but it was not the color we wanted. Matt asked what we were looking for and then searched the inventories of other dealerships and found one that met our preferences in Missouri. Before settling on this car, we looked at the 2015 Sonatas on the lot and there was the car exactly as we wished for. Matt and his manager worked out deals on both cars. I felt they worked hard to give us the best deal they could so the price of the 2015 Sonata was comparable to the 2014 Sonata. We settled on the 2015 Sonata. Matt was very thorough and easy to work with. He thoroughly went over the car to acquaint us with its features. The finance manager took the time to search for the best deals for financing, and explained each one so we could choose which worked best for us. Matt, his sales manager, and the finance manager were all easy to work with and I felt comfortable with them. The experience was very satisfying.

He didnt try to push me into a more expensive car. And that was a nice change from the other dealerships I have delt with. Very pleased with the experience. Going to Green Family was a very positive experience for me. Right when I arrived, I was shown cars that were within my budget and fit my needs. The salesperson even took me over to other Green lots to look for more variety, even though Im sure the other lot would get a cut, leaving less money for the seller.The best part, however, was the special accommodations that they made for me.Since Im from Wisconsin, instead of Illinois where theyre located, I needed to pay with a money order or cash. Money orders take time, days even, but I really wanted to leave with my car that day. The manager was very understanding and after providing proof that I sent the money order in, he let me drive off.Also, since Im from Wisconsin, I needed to register it in Wisconsin and pay Wisconsin taxes. They gave me a temporary plate and took care of it all. About 30 days later, I got my plates.

Derek was very informational, polite, and professional. I really appreciated the way he talked to me. I would of bought the Hyundai Genesis. But I really wasnt in the love with the car. It didnt have all the bells and whistles I wanted. I had a lot of questions due to the fact I was not familiar with that interface. He took the time to show me how to find the mph. To show the actual speed not the approximate speed. I like that better. Even though I was a pain. He was very nice and polite. And was never short or rude with me. That is very hard to find at dealership being a woman! Trust me! So women looking for a car ask for Derek he will help you!

All around the easiest and best experience I have ever had with a car dealer. Doug our salesman and Jeff the Sales Manager took excellent care of us, even when the internet went down and we could not finish the paper work right away. They are extremely pleasant and courteous. I bought my brand new Hyundai Elantra from William Jones at Greens and he made my purchase very enjoyable. My favorite color is Green, naturally I had to check this place out. Not only did I get great service, but i also drive off the lot in a green colored 2014 Accent with 11 miles on it. It fits my needs, my life and my budget and they made it all happen without any stress. I walked in expecting the worst, and came out with the exact opposite.
