This was by FAR the BEST experience I have ever had with a dealership. Talk about CUSTOMER SERVICE! WOW! I called 20 minutes before stopping and Mallory was so friendly and helpful in assisting set up a test drive. Every time we came in along the next week during the sale, Mallory always stopped to say hello! From there, Tony Carroll (our salesman) was an absolute ANGEL. He walked us through every option and was NEVER pushy or pressuring. He answered every question and was incredibly patient with me, my sister, and my mom. He worked with us to make sure we felt confident and comfortable with EVERY aspect of the car and the sale. He was so personable and really helped strip away the anxiety of such a big purchase with his friendliness and willingness to help. When I had some concerns with the mechanical functionality of car (after the 3rd test drive), Tony took it into the service department to have it re-inspected and worked on, free of charge. Tony really helped me make sure I felt confident in all aspects of the purchase. Kyle in the finance department was great as well!! He ran different financing options to get me the best rate and even though we didnt finance through them! He was very transparent and explained everything in ways we could understand. Overall, VERY satisfied with the customer service and my vehicle. If its your first time buying a car, I HIGHLY recommend Zimmerman Honda as they made me feel informed & relaxed. Mr. Marty Curry (our salesman) was very helpful with getting my elderly mother into a new CRV, trading in her 2014 CRV. Nothing really wrong with her used car (except an occasional TPMS light), but the 2022 CRV had more safety features, a power lift gate and the easy fueling system. She was given a reasonable trade-in value for her 2014 that had quite a few parking lot battle scars and both side mirrors replaced with non-OEM. And given the pandemic supply issues (constantly changing and trending worse) she only had to wait 4 weeks to get her new car. Marty was great dealing with my mom. Hes helped both my parents and my youngest sister and her spouse with the purchase of new Hondas, and a good friendship has developed over the years. We were both very happy with Zimmermans, especially dealing with Marty.

I could not be more satisfied with my experience at Zimmerman Honda this evening. After discovering a nail in one of my tires and realizing that most places were closed as I noticed this just after 7pm, I didnt think Id be able to get my tire fixed. Even though my vehicle is not a Honda and I have never bought a vehicle from this place, they treated me like royalty! I came right over and they fixed my tire within 5 minutes. This was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. As I said, although Ive never bought a Honda, this experience makes me reconsider as service like that is hard to find at a dealership nowadays. I highly recommend Zimmerman Honda! Went in with my Mother in Law to help her close the deal on a new 2022 Honda CR-V. When we got in the F&I Office, the game started with the Doc Fee. $299.81. We had no complaints about the price of the car. The maximum that an Illinois car dealership can charge for a Doc Fee is $300. Imagine that, only $0.19 below the maximum. Thanks for the huge savings.Meanwhile, the two most expensive states to live in, California and New York, are only permitted to charge a maximum Doc Fee of $80 and $75, respectively. When I brought that to the attention of the F&I salesman and the smarmy car salesman who was selling the car to my Mother in Law, Mr. Smarmy said, Well, this is Illinois, with all the smarminess he could muster up.Oh, so its OK to rip every customer of this dealership off even though California and New York get over $200 less for completing the same tasks it takes in Illinois to license, title and register a car.As usual, we heard same, old and tired phrase of, We charge everyone the same fee. Thats great, so this dealership rips everyone off.Thanks to Mr. Smarmy for confirming that car salesmen/women are one of the least trusted professions across the spectrum.Two stars for this dealership and thats being generous.Updated after Zimmerman response on 1 Nov 21:The truth hurts so they report it to Google. I was not a paying customer. As I stated clearly in my review, my Mother in Law was buying the car. If nobody but paying customers at this dealership can write a review, thats an interesting position to take on free speech.Update 3 Nov 21:See the review from Rev Mark Miller. He is not a paying customer at Zimmerman Honda, yet Zimmerman Honda gushed all over his review. That could be viewed as being duplicitous since I was also not a paying customer. Hmmmmm.

Great salesman. Their finance guy is the best ever. Their parts department is horrible and the service department doesnt want to help you very much. Stay away from here if you need parts or work done.UPDATE:They did reach out to me right away, I called back the following day. AJ was very receptive and a great listener. I will update when he gets back to me. Upped 1 star for a quick response!!!UPDATE 2:Upgraded 1 more star.. The vehicle is fixed and they were very quick with the service this time. Looking at a possible trade for the vehicle to a new one, we will see how this experience goes.

Years ago we bought a 2015 Honda Pilot from Aaron Miguel. Very happy with that experience. Since then we have gone in and driven more cars than I can count when we needed an additional car. Aaron has always been patient, accessible, knowledgeable and maintained a high level of customer service even when it took us a very long time to make a decision. He was helpful in allowing us to compare multiple models at once in order for us to make the best decision for what our family truly needed at this point. My husband I and highly recommend him when you need to purchase a vehicle.

Best car purchase experience ever. I purchased two cars today from Zimmerman Honda. Jerry Leibovitz worked with patience over two days to show us several cars and test drive. Brian from the management team was very helpful with pricing and financing. The dealership is family-friendly. My wife and the two teenagers had great experience with the team. Brian and Jerry are good listeners and Knowledgeable. My kids learned a lot from this experience. They rated this team as the most friendly and trustworthy from the dealerships they visited. Blake from Finance processed the whole paperwork for the two cars in 5 minutes. It seemed like Zimmerman Honda runs on good values and their staff exhibited those values throughout our car buying experience.

I had a recall notice on my Honda Pilot. They fixed it and had me out of there in an hour. It is a beautiful dealership. I was approached by a salesperson who then let me browse undisturbed. They provided snacks and drinks for those of us waiting for service on our vehicles. The lounge allowed us to stay socially distanced from one another.

Internet sales department was great. However 3 days after having my car the check engine light came on. Paid half of what it cost to supposedly fix it. Here i am 6 months later and the check engine light is still on and they have not even offered to fix it even after getting management involved.

We live 4 hours from this dealer and was able to get the purchase of a CPO van all worked out over the phone. They gave us a great offer on our trade. I bought my Civic Type R through Zimmerman back in September when other dealers couldnt and I love it. So far 2500 miles and will continue to go up. I had a weird noise that ended up being a rock stuck between the rotor and brake shield, Zimmerman did a full inspection of my vehicle free of charge. I will definitely do business with them if I like the next gen R or if honda comes out with another sports car.

Randy made things very easy and the entire transaction was completed smoothly. No haggling, back and forth, or run around. The transmission plug came loose on our 2015 Honda Civic. Had to pay the extra $35.00 to have the car towed in. Was told the next day by Brent that this was only the 2nd time in his 15 years at Honda that he has ever heard of this??? I guess when it happened when we first purchased the car and now must have been the 2 times??? I guess all the reports of it happening to other types of Honda vehicles must be false also?? Zimmermans needs to start taking responsibility for Hondas mistakes and treating there customers with a little more respect instead of trying to cover things up!! Thank You for not charging Both of us for a repair that was Hondas fault to begin with!! Way to own up for your mistakes!!

Went in for oil change and have the calibers looked at on my 17 Honda civic. All was well with calibers and was told brake pads were still very good. Didnt take long, friendly people.

I called a week ahead to verify they could do the job, drove 45 minutes there, then waited 40 minutes to be told they couldnt. BUT the guy owned his mistake, they washed my car and offered me a free oil change. At least the guy was honest. He didnt pass the buck. I know hes trustworthy.

He took the time to understand what we wanted in a car and did not apply any pressure what so ever!! Warren in the parts department was extremely helpful in finding us floor mats and Blake was very helpful in explaining all of the legal documents and did not pressure us at all when we were examining all of the warranty options!To summarize: No one pressured us to buy something we didnt want. Marty far exceeded all our expectations! Be sure to ask for him when you go in or call about a vehicle you find online. He was the perfect balance of being a complete professional and a fun easy-going personality. We picked one of the coldest days of the decade to venture out but he had the vehicles all ready to go for us and made multiple trips outside throughout the day to ensure we would not have to. He explained every detail of the Pilots features to us and it never once sounded like a sales pitch. We told him that we wanted to see how the Pilot handled in the snow (it did great) and see how much get up and go it had, so he took us along the highway and down roads that were less clear including the dead-end lane in front of their dealership that had only been plowed on one side. To be honest, I was nervous that we would get stuck but Marty was confident and ensured us that it would do just fine, and it did! The Pilot didnt even slip or lose traction when we were driving down the snow-packed dead-end lane. My husband and I were so excited after our test drive and knew we wanted this vehicle but were being slow at coming to a final decision. Marty told us that he understood this is a big decision and that its important to find the right vehicle, so he told us to take it to lunch and think about it. Well, of course, we decided to buy it! It was such a great low-pressure buying experience. And even if that is his sale strategy then Three Cheers for treating us with RESPECT, PATIENCE and like REAL HUMAN BEINGS instead of another quota! We will be going back for all of our future trade-ins!

Last night, I drove my 2001 Honda Civic EX to Zimmerman. I drove away with a 2015 Honda Civic EX. My journey for a car began online as I did extensive research. The Zimmerman website was easy to navigate and provided the foundation for this excellent experience. I spoke with Marty during the day yesterday and set up an appointment for after work. He promptly emailed me the cars details I was interested in and other great information. When I arrived to Zimmerman, Marty was an exceptional employee to deal with. His demeanor and attitude was kind. He was knowledgeable and made the entire experience as stress free as it could be for buying a vehicle. Blake was the individual who assisted my wife and I with the finances. Again, I couldnt have asked for a more helpful and knowledgeable individual for that task. My wife will be looking to purchase a vehicle in 6 months. With that said, the first place I will go to is Zimmerman. And as of now, I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a car to contact Marty Curry and become a part of the Honda family.

This dealership is by far the best Ive been to!!! Their service department makes luxury dealerships (Audi, Mercedes-Benz etc.) look like a Jiffy Lube. They are extremely friendly and always explains things so you can understand it perfectly. Gary and AJ always keep you up to date on the status of you car and are willing to work with you to get your car in quickly. The technicians there are extremely friendly and will even come out and help explain any issues with your car.Besides the service department, the sales department is phenomenal! The sales reps will listen to your wants and needs and help you decide what car will best suit your needs and keep you on budget. Brian (GM) is right there to help and explain everything to you. We purchased a Pilot EX-L April 2019. Aaron and Zimmerman made the car buying experience better than usual. No high pressure here. We decided on which vehicle we wanted and they found it in the color we preferred right away. Aaron went over all the bells and whistles in our new Pilot during the delivery, and has been quick to answer questions via text after the sale too! Have not had a chance to experience the service department yet, but hearing from others that it is good. I would not hesitate to buy from them again in the future.

Luis was very patience, kind and courteous explaining everything to me. He did not pressure me into buying at all. His goal was to make me comfortable and happy. I left the dealership knowing I had the right vehicle for me. I recommend anyone who needs a vehicle to please buy or lease from Zimmerman. You will not regret it. Should I ever purchase another vehicle, I will ask for Luis and only go to Zimmerman.

I decided to come over here today for an alignment that the Davenport Honda place said I needed. I wont mention names but (Honda dealership in Davenport) tried to sell me 2 new tires on an AWD pilot last week and wanted to do an alignment for a lot of money. Im glad I held off! Zimmerman agreed that my 2 tires in question were fine at 5/32 and just watch them. And Zimmerman charged $60 less for an alignment!!!! Ill be back!

Our sales rep Aaron and the finance dept. stayed late after closing to cope with my familys hectic schedule. That was much appreciated. Then Doug was extremely thorough in explaining the vehicle upon pick up. Even sat in the car explaining and programming all the new features with me.Would recommend this dealership in a heartbeat.

Zimmerman Honda has a very welcoming staff. We met with Vanessa Lager (2nd vehicle weve purchased with her assistance),and we must state that her patience in dealing with us was most appreciated. Vanessa knows her products and all of the accessories as well. She walked us through several CR Vs until we found the one right for us. Even after driving the car and more conversations with Vanessa, we still were unsure if this was the one for us. Vanessa sensed our uneasiness, and offered for us to take the car for a few hours to get a better feel for how it could perform. Best idea, as this is exactly what we needed. After a few hours of checking the CR V out, we returned it, convinced this was our car. While we did not plan to make a purchase the same day, we did, as Vanessas knowledge and professionalism made this a more relaxing purchase than we could have imagined. We will continue to be a Zimmerman customer, as we are treated very well.

Tony was so polite, knew the answers to all my questions, and didn’t make me feel like I was just a money grab. He actually worked with my budget to get me exactly the car I wanted. He and Kyle were very kind and made it a very comfortable experience for me. I never write reviews for anything but they made me so happy I felt I should share the experience.

Had our 2016 in for service and ran into our salesperson, Aaron Miguel. He asked how we liked our Pilot so far(love it) and wondered if we would be interested in getting into a 2018. Well to make a long story short, we are now driving a 2018 Pilot,identical to our 2016 except it’s new with 25,000 fewer miles! Our lease was far from being over, our actual payment went down $30.00 a month plus they were able to arrange a military discount for us. Best dealer I’ve ever dealt with! First class staff all the way through!!!!

I traded in my 2010 Pilot (which I bought Certified from Zimmermans 3 years ago) and upgraded to a new, 2017 Pilot Elite. I knew I wanted to go back to Zimmermans as they provided a great deal, helpful sales people and great customer service in both buying and servicing my Pilot. I loved that I could email Jim, tell him what I was looking for, my budget, etc. and he had the test drive lined up and financing started before I walked in the door. He even stayed late on buying day to walk me through personalizing the set up of all the features in my new car. I know my Pilot is in good hands going forward for service as well. Honda are made to last and Im trusting them to keep my family safe on the road for years to come.

Our lease was up on one car. We liked the Civic and Accord so much we traded in our other car too and left with two new cars. We made them WORK for it! Tony and Gilbert were very accommodating and professional. It took us all day to figure out what we wanted to get but they werent pushy with us at all. They even shipped the wifes car in from another location so she could get the color she wanted. I wont go anywhere else.

My current lease was almost up and I worked with Gilbert Richardson. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. When walking into the dealership I was greeted and the staff always made me feel welcome. Gilbert was helpful through the whole process. I did talk to a few other dealerships but was not as impressed with them.After I determined which model, trim level and color I wanted it became apparent only one dealership had exactly what I wanted and they were 50 miles away, I had already negotiated a great deal with Gilbert and the sales manager Brian. Brian was great to work with and expedited a dealer trade and had the car to the dealership in less than 4 hours.If you are looking for a dealership that has integrity, doesnt play games, and is dedicated to offering excellent service and very competitive prices I would highly recommend Zimmerman Honda. We were not planning on buying a car for a couple years, but due to an accident we had to go car shopping pretty spur of the moment. I looked online and had it narrowed down to 2 cars . The first one we went to look at was an Accord at Zimmerman . We fell in love with the car and Merlin made the whole process of buying it so easy and non stressful . We never even went and looked at the second car. Everyone at Zimmerman was super friendly and the dealership is very clean and modern . I would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new or a used car . The car we bought was a used certified car and we were treated no differently than if we were buying their most expensive car on the lot . Merlin took a lot of time going over everything on the car, so when we left we were very comfortable with all the new technology of the car . I am very pleased with the whole experience of buying a car at Zimmerman Honda .

Matt provided me with the easiest car buying experience Ive ever had. I walked into the dealership at 8:45 a.m. and walked out at 11:45 a.m. in my new car. We test drove it, were up front with each other and made a deal within minutes of him bringing over the paperwork. Then, I get to Kyle in finance and was done within 10 minutes. Both guys were fantastic and very easy to work with. I will definitely return to Zimmerman in the future!

I have a confession. Ive been getting my oil changed and tires rotated somewhere else (because of free tire rotations after buying tires there). Well, oil was due, couldnt get in, so I gave big Z a call on my way home. They had room on the schedule and got me in and got it done. Always super nice, and theyve earned and kept my trust for many years now. Thats a big deal. AJ and the entire crew at Zimmerman have consistently met or exceeded my expectations.

Aaron Miguel at Zimmerman was very professional and treated us with respect! We originally came in looking for a Honda Pilot and decided against it. Not being pushy, he suggested a van. We decided to take one for a spin and after we drove a few found the one we liked. Aaron was very professional during the negotiations and we felt like we got a good deal on the vehicle. Ever since I bought my car from Zimmerman, I have taken it back there for everything I need. I enjoyed my time being there up until now. I recently went in for a nail in my tire, which would be the second one with this car. I went in, got it plugged, paid up and went on with my day. All was well and I went home. On my way home I realized my car was shaking... I called and they said to come back so I did the next day. Come to find out I some how have ANOTHER nail in my tire after just minutes of getting my last one fixed.... This time I did not have time to wait there so I left and went to another car shop. Now, this would have been my third nail all together! After the guys at Hughes checked my tires they only found ONE plug in the back tire and said the front drivers side tire that I went to get fixed yesterday had never even been touched!!!!! So the “three nails” all together turned out to only be two and the second one never even got fixed when I took it in originally to Honda. Let’s just say I will NEVER be back for anything other than things under my warranty at Zimmerman Honda in Moline.

We were happy to return to Zimmerman for our Honda purchase. Aaron was laid back and didnt pressure us at all while we were weighing our options. He was very accommodating and found answers to each of our questions in a timely manner. Once we made our decision Aaron and Kyle made quick work of our sale to get us out the door!! We had shopped around online before coming to Zimmerman for our Honda Insight. When we came in, Aaron was friendly and easy to work with - low pressure but attentive. Kyle made the finance portion as easy as possible and answered all our questions. Ben, who we had previously talked with via email when shopping around and thinking about what we wanted, helped us get the cars preferences set up after the purchase, and was also great in person. Got in earlier than expected. Was told 45 minutes but took only 30. Waiting area had cold and hot drinks plus snack. Very comfortable.

Worst experience ever. The car sales man told us the car was driven by a doctor that traded every year like clock work. In actuality the car was bought at auction. We asked about service and we were read the car fax. When we asked about service again he chastised us, blew up and said he wouldn’t deal with us. He then went to get the manager. The manager asked us to disregard the lies. 😳. Wow. Just wow.

No games, fair pricing, and excellent customer service.I was surprised at how low pressure the finance part was. This can be a high stress situation at some dealerships, but with Kyle, it was a great experience. He explained all the options and why they might benefit us. I traded my 2011 Pilot for a new 2018 Elite. I put a request to have the dealer contact me, within an hour I received a call from Luis. We had a great conversation, finding out what our needs were. Luis worked quickly to locate the vehicle we were looking for. Once the vehicle was located it arrived quickly. When picked up the vehicle Luis sat down with us going over the features, he pulled out the owners manual where he had gone through the manual and paper clipped pages and highlighted important areas. This was the second vehicle I had purchased from Luis, my parents had also purchased a vehicle from Luis. I am very happy working with Luis and will recommend him to others when they are looking for a new Honda.

Nick was super-friendly and helpful during my hunt for a new Honda Civic Si. Got me the color and type that I wanted within two days. Zimmerman also has info sessions for new Honda owners, and a very nice facility. Plus, its family-owned and local—gotta love that. I would absolutely recommend Zimmerman over any other Honda dealers in the area.
