They gave us lots of options to choose from. We decided on the herringbone pattern surround with a window kit so we can keep the natural light. We had a 50s style bathroom with only a cast iron tub and faucet but no showerhead. Demolition took about half a day and the install took a day and a half. Plus it had to cure for 24 hours. So 3 days Total. The guy Issac who did ours was friendly and didnt mind when I took progression photos. So happy we decided to go with Midwest bath Co.

First I want to mention the good aspects of my experience with Midwest bath. They were quick to set up the initial consultation. The installation was set up in a reasonable timeframe and started as promised. The installers Adam and Matt were professional and thorough. They had to come back and fix a few minor things afterwards but were quick to tend to the issues. The tub/surround looks great.Having said all of that, I will now explain the two star rating. On the day of install, I was told the high-end shower head we had ordered was substituted and the matte black shower rod we had selected wasnt in and was subbed for a basic chrome rod. I was told the shower rod would be ordered and delivered when it came in (4 months later it still hasnt come in but we are appreciative of pandemic constraints). When I called the office about the shower head, I was told that the expensive high-end one I ordered (the only matte black shower head available for ordering is what the salesman told me) was never added to the contract, and when this was realized by production they added on a more basic model, but that I would not be charged for their mistake. When the contract was written up, the high-end shower head made up almost 1/4 of the total cost. This was not adjusted when it was substituted. When I called the office to request an itemized receipt and a copy of the original contract, the office girl sheepishly referred me to the original salesman who to date has not returned my emails or voicemails requesting the documents.I would have accepted the above occurrences as pandemic-related shortages and shortfalls and moved on with my life until the phone calls started coming in. Darren began calling me a few weeks later trying to add on a $400 final charge, though he never could explain to me what it was for. It was something that was flashing on my account on his end is what he told me. I financed my purchase through Midwests credit company Greensky, and the amount billed to my account was the same amount as the initial contract listed. Darren persisted in attempting to add this charge to my account, going so far as asking for the answers to my security questions that protected my Greensky account. I found this deceptive and offensive considering I was agreeing to pay the full contract price despite not receiving the expensive shower head. I refused to accept this final charge and to date I havent heard anything more about it, which is fortunate as I have never had to deal with small claims court before but would absolutely be willing to go there to dispute the matter.If you made it this far, thank you for listening to my experience. I cannot recommend this company due to the unpleasantness and shadiness of the attempts to hit me with a final charge. That, the lack of communication and failure to deliver everything promised (and financed) in the contract that i was asked to enter into with Midwest Bath Co. will cause me to never use them again.elliott

We were so very happy with the work that was done on my moms bathroom. She is 88 and everyday was getting harder and harder for her to get into her old bathtub. After visiting with a sales rep in her home who was very informative we decided Midwest was the contractor we wanted to work with us. Midwest completely removed the old bathtub and surround, they installed a waterproof drywall before a new shower enclosure was installed along with new fixtures and pex plumbing. The products used were very high quality also. Jamie done an excellent job with the installation and was so polite to her. Thanks again Midwest. I would highly recommend them.

Just wanted to say how please we are with our new shower from your company. From your consultant Jordan, who came to our house and explained all of our options, to the installer Matt, we couldnt be happier. We had a brand new shower put in to replace our old tub/shower. The workmanship in putting in the shower was excellent. It looks beautiful. My concern is the service after the sale! I have called, texted, & e-mailed three different people to try to get an estimate to install additional shelves and a towel bar in the shower. Each person Ive contacted has said that someone else would call me back. Absolutely no one has called me back! Im ready to look elsewhere for what I need!

A local Shower Glass installer ordered a door from Midwest for my Michigan bathroom. He did not have a sample of the metal trim that frames the glass, but said to check the website. Website has no product details. I called their toll free # and spoke to a rep regarding trim finishes. She said they go over all of that at the first quote meeting. She offered to have a sales rep come out, but told her I lived in Michigan, They dont service Michigan. They may have great doors, but their website is very limited in scope, detail.

When I decided to change my bathroom from a tub/shower to a walk in shower, I had three companies provide me with options and cost estimates. I must say they were all very polite and very helpful. They explained everything and answered all of my questions.Having said that, Midwest Bath Co not only provided the lowest estimate but also to me they had much better products. The Kohler name has been around for a very long time and their products are the reason.The installer was excellent. You could tell that he knew what he was doing and he did it very well. He was courteous, efficient, and very considerate of my home. He cleaned up and got rid of all the debris. Love the looks of it! Pretty good selection of colors that Luke helped me out with, to design my shower. Adam the installer was excellent and very fast! My only recommendation which is a personal preference of mine, is to increase the texture on the shower floor. However putting in my mat was the solution. I highly recommend!

From the beginning with the sales representation and estimate with Brenton to the install with Adam....everything was perfect! Adam was able to remove and install in about 8 hours. Shower turned out beautiful and there wasnt one spec of dirt/material/debris left behind. 100% would recommend this company!

Installer was on time and worker until 5:30. Didn’t even stop for lunch. Would have been able to finish the job but some parts were missing from the shower connection. Wrong class doors were sent. Clear came instead of the frosted which were ordered. Still waiting for the frosted doors to be delivered. Next day an installer came and installed the shower connection and wall shelved as ordered. However, he had a difficult time installing one of the metal shelves resulting in scratches in the wall material. Have informed the company but haven’t heard back from them as of yet. This was two weeks ago. Installers were both very professional but I am not terribly impressed with the follow up from the Moline office on my concerns. A couple of days after I wrote the first part of this review the company called and set up an appointment and when they arrived completely replace scratched wall panel and installed new shelves and the frosted doors. Really impressed with the level of service and the effort to make it right. Would highly recommend the products and service and their desire to please the customer. We don’t often see this kind of commitment to excellence.

I needed a shower/tub installed in my place. I worked with Luke and he came out and showed me all my options and sample walls. He was very responsive to all my questions and even after my contract was signed he promptly replied to my questions. (And there were lots) I wanted the tile look without having to deal with the installation mess and future issues with grout. Darren was my installer and he arrived at my place shortly before 8:00 am. The man is a worker!! He got right to the demo and other than a short lunch break, he worked non-stop until quitting time. He returned the following morning and applied the caulking and fixtures. He was so friendly and professional and there was minimal dust and no mess left behind.I love the finished project and the work they did. I priced out the project at Home Depot and Menards, and while the materials were a little less expensive, it would have cost more to have one of their subcontractors do the job. I wanted the quality that Midwest Bath offered and they delivered. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a new shower or shower/ tub combo.

Darron and Brandon were at my house the same day to go over options for my bathtub/shower that I called. I had some rotting drywall and other issues due not being done right the first time in addition to years of use . They were both very professional and gave me different options and worked within my budget. I will say it is worth the money to have real professionals who back their work and have great communication. Issac just finished installing and I am blown away by the results. Midwest Bath Company; my right decisionI had been thinking about getting a jetted tub that would give me safety and relaxation. Last year I broke my hip from a fall outside and after my recovery not as sure footed as before. My sister has one and loves it; so, I did research and decided Midwest Bath was the one to contact. I have a small bathroom and was glad it could be done without problem. I chose the panel surround plus the fixtures from the brochures shown. I was impressed by the professionalism of the crew. Because I have a small bathroom the stool and vanity had to be removed and stool was placed back on 3rd day. I was shown a demonstration of spa filled with water and the jets flowing and its controls. I decided to have my bathroom painted and a new vanity and lighting installed. Oh wow, even with the spa tub my bathroom now seems bigger and brighter. Remember it had been 20 years since the first shower was installed and it was getting hard to clean and the bathroom color and vanity outdated. My experience with the spa and shower awesome. Ease of stepping in and out.20 years ago, it was my decision to have a soaker tub in main bathroom. I can say we have not used soaker tub more than 5 times in 20 years; and stepping over soaker tub was a hazard. Now it is my decision in near future to have the soaker tub removed and a walk-in shower for guests or family members when they stay overnight. It will be Midwest Bath I contact for that future project. Again, making the right decision.

Midwest Bath tore out my old fiberglass tub and shower. They put in a beautiful acrylic walk-in shower with Koehler hand held sprayer and grab bar. Sales rep, Luke, listened to my needs and money availability and provided what I needed and what I could afford without being overbearing or obnoxious. Jacob showed up to do the install. He listened to my needs and did what was asked and stopped his work, took out his earplugs and answered my questions politely without annoyance. He positioned the spray shower for this short person at just the right height along with the two shelves. He explained what he did different (applied a primer) to make the caulking last longer in answer about my concern when would caulking have to be redone. He had to adjust the pipe connections so it would fit appropriately to my older house’s pipes which was more time consuming for him. He was very polite, well mannered, and very concerned about not leaving the place in a nasty, dirty, unclean state due to his workmanship. Overall....my experience with Midwest Bath was definitely a 5-star experience! I truly recommend this company for a bath updo!

Randy showed me a very informational presentation on walk in tub from Kohler. Presented option for tub and what it was going to entail on installation of walk in tub along with pricing.Installation crew was very professional on install. In and out of my house in a days time with cleanup also. Very nice people to work with from consult to installing.Walk in bath is all white with satin finish fixtures. I had a new walk in shower that replaced my very old bathtub and I am so happy with the results! My old tub was getting to be a hazard and I didnt want to step in and out of a bath tub anymore. The work was finished in one day and I had no clean up to take care of and the shower is just gorgeous. I love the shower head with a pause feature so I dont have to turn off the water and I can soap up and restart the shower with the same temperature I started with. I am using a shower liner and curtain and no water has sprayed out of the walk in to my satisfaction. Now I look forward to showering!

Due to safety concerns, I chose to install a walk-in shower to replace my standard tub/shower. My experience was wonderful beginning with my call to set an appointment thru the finished product. Luke Vernon met with us and was very personable, knowledgeable and a enjoyable to work with. The installer, Joe (from Quad Cities) was again very personable, knowledgeable and considerate when doing the install. Tarps covered my carpet and the room was swept and cleaned when he was done. Another business sent them our information as a referral. We were very clear in both an email and over the phone that we wanted a bathtub resurfaced, not replaced. When their sales person came to our home, he told us they dont resurface bathtubs they do remodels. A big waste of time during a busy, stressful move. Extremely unprofessional.

I’ve had both showers and one tub redone and I highly recommend this company! The bathrooms in this 1960 house are now updated and just what I wanted. My consultant came to the house, took accurate measurements, and then went through all my option with me. He even figured out we could gain 9” on our very small step in shower! Installers were on time, professional and pleasant, and left workspaces spotless!

Brent visited us with samples of materials, pictures of the Kohler products and sat down with us to discuss what we were looking to achieve. He guided us through the various products, laid out pluses, and minuses of each product. We were changing from a tub shower in our master bathroom to a walk in multi-head shower. Brent made it easy for us to make decisions and come up with our final product decision. Brent did an excellent job and checked in with in with us periodically to keep us updated on the status of our project. From the initial consultation we were pleased. All our questions, concerns were answered including those we had not considered. instead of selling his product he wanted to know what we wanted and then explained and showed us how his product not only met but exceeded our wants. Yes the cost was expensive and worth every cent.When the day of installation arrived the two man crew arrived 20 minutes or so early (They did have a 70 drive).very courteous, professional is an understatement. The two gentlemen that performed the installation had obvious and well deserve pride in their work. When they left twelve hours later the only evidence that they were here was: a brand new, custom, zero entry shower with safety grab bars a gorilla would have issues yanking out. This shower removes one of the biggest dangers in the home for the elderly. Falling getting in and out of the tub.

Installation was fantastic. Done in one day with no clean up. Copy did an excellent job in presenting and explaining the features.Only thing I could suggest is to heat the seat like they do on other units. That way you dont get that initial shock when you sit down.

I love my new shower. The installer arrived promptly at 8 am. After everything was finished, he cleaned up the work area in the bathroom, went over the basics of how the new shower operates, and carefully went over paperwork with me. The new shower looks great, and is a big improvement over what was there previously.

When I called Midwest Bath I already had a couple prices from other companies, one was stupid high 17k+ and the other scary cheap 4500, neither of the two others actually took the time to show me the differences in products available, Midwest Bath did, it was a really great experience. They had my old tub and tile out in no time at all, my new shower looks fantastic. Thank you Midwest Bath Co.

Midwest Bath Co. just installed a water proof shower surround that replaced our old dated fiberglass surround. We are thoroughly pleased with this new shower surround and new hardware

The crew originally showed up on schedule, but quickly found a wrong shower base had been ordered. So they stopped work. The needed base was found in the warehouse, so they came back a few days later & installed a beautiful shower. However part of the glass door was missing & had to be ordered. We were told that would take 5 days. That was over 2 weeks ago & no one will return my multiple calls requesting an update. So we have a beautiful shower with no door. We are very disappointed with the poor service & lack of contact. All we want to know is when will the door be installed so we can use the shower.

Removed a tub shower combo and replaced with a walkin shower.

I especially like that all materials are made in the U.S.! I’m pleased with the outcome. Really adds to my home’s value.

We have been very satisfied extreamly with the shower and product . Our only complaint was on the scheduled installation day. After the technician arrived it was noted that wrong parts were received so we had to put off installation. This was after delays from the virus, this was a stressful time, but solved within a day, and we were back on schedule. Thanks for a good product.

Very professional installers. Ran into some issues that required tools they should have had on hand. Took their time but did not cut corners. Just wish they had the correct tools. Would have been a lotbetter

The installers worked efficiently, courteously, keeping good social distance and finished on time. It was a quite pleasant experience and we were well pleased with the result.

It’s so pretty in my old house! It looks modern and just plain nicer than I ever thought it could be! The before & after is wonderful! I would definitely recommend!

Work was done very professionally, efficiently and quickly. Everyone seemed to work in harmony and installation went seamlessly. Product has turned out better than expected and I enjoy it frequently and so does my back. I am very happy with my Kohler Tub.

From Tom (Sales) coming to our house for in home selections, to Darron and office staff arranging all the logistics and finally Greg ( installation) who was amazing with installing both of our bathroom in 2 days. I was overall satisfied with my tub removal and shower install. My complaint is that the shower pan squeaks when you step into the shower and or move around in the shower. This was brought to the attention of the installer and a Midwest Bath representative when this was completed. I was told that they have had this issue with the shower pans and that would be taken care of. This job was completed on 10/22/2019 and I have net yet heard from anyone regarding this matter. I paid my bill in full at the time of completion with the understanding that this would be taken care of. It is now 01/14/2020 and I am still waiting.

Professional at every level. Starting with our sales rep, Cody, right through the installation team and the customer service staff... everyone exceeded our expectations. We couldnt be happier with the whole process. The best!
