Wasnt at teskeys. I was at the bar next door the Belgrade. Nice place friendly people and staff. Could use some food. I think they used to have a pretty decent restaurant here. Burgers and taco Tuesday and such. Still a nice place though.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. They also have some unique plants. I was looking for a heirloom tomatoes and was taken to that tomato section and there it was..the Jubilee. Same for garlic chives. Also my plants were carried to my car so I wouldnt have to return my cart. Made my day!

I found a hamster wheel, same brand, cheaper than at Pet Smart. Theyve got everything you need for your garden and pets. Easy to find what you need, and helpful sales people. Plus, theyre locally owned and operated. A gem for us green-thumbers.

Teskes is an amazing place for pets. I used to be a cat person, a bird lover and am now a dog person. I have gotten all my pets there since I was 19 and they have had my business for 30 years with my last purchase being a white with black specks around his face & body border collie/Bassett hound mix from Moline.Their prices for animals are *way* under that at Petland, by around $7k on their designer dogs - an American Eskimo that I got years ago for $699 is $8k at Petland Naperville. Very kind & intelligent people who have been there since the 1990s.The pictures are of our 9 month Akita from Bettendorf, our 2½ year old Siberian husky & a 9 week old border collie/basse at the store in Bettendorf.Thank you!

Bought some flowers for my garden. Very nice small garden center. Like almost all garden centers who buy in their stock, their employees have virtually no knowledge of what they are selling and cant answer basic questions.

Great place from working on your equipment to buying new equipment. To help with yard management got a seed program. Even very helpful with pet knowledge.

Cool people loved the animals although they didnt have pups or kittens it was still enjoyable, ended up leaving without anything wasnt able to find right size dog leash.

I love this place! Ive been going here since i was a child for anything involving pets or plants, which are my green pets. Their employees are always helpful and kind. I cant recommend this place enough! They definitely deserve 6 stars.

I love animals and Ive always had extremely negative experiences. In between them dropping the turtle they sold me and laughed about it (he had 3 leaches on him), asking to exchange a rat that had bit my snake (I know the rat was scared and yes I have tried frozen thawed he wont take it) and being told to put the rat in a box and throw it as hard as I can at the ground, which should stun or kill it. Thats disgusting... I love rats, I just wanted to switch it out (any other pet store has let me) she said yes and then changed her mind and said theyd take it back but Id have to buy a new one. My fiance loves gardening but says its meh and overpriced (hes nicer than I). I honestly dont know how this place is still in business.

I dont like to give bad reviews unless Ive had more than one bad interaction... I know people have bad days. Every time Ive called: bad phone manners and rude! In store wasnt much better.. there is a younger girl that worked there that was professional and nice but some of the others were rude!! I asked a question to this one older gal... very rude in her answer and she acted like it was a chore to speak to me. Never going back

I saw 4 employees and not one say hi to me. Not one asked if I needed help.They too busy working. The cashier just asked me about rewards, I said no and she just rung me up. Not customer friendly. Ive seen the ads on TV and decided to come to the store. I wont be back.

Would give no stars if possible adopted a kitten that was born with a disease. Had to be put down within 1 month. Very disrespectful on the phone when I was just trying to explain the situation.

Not only is everything overpriced, the staff isnt knowledgeable on their animals (especially the people assigned to the fish section).On top of that, they dont even attempt to enforce their mask policy, and when there today, an employee was wearing her mask around her neck. Very haphazard mentality, especially when were topping 4000+ deaths per day because of Covid-19.

We love Teske! They get a lot of our business because I know that I can go there and actually talk to someone that is knowledgable about there products. It doesnt matter if Im there for plants, lawn care, or animal care I always leave satisfied that Ive gotten good advice. If I go to any of the big box stores I can rarely find an employee that cares about helping me or knows about the products they sell.

I have the worlds squirmiest rat terrier. One of the staff members helped me find a harness that fit Bax and helped me get it on him. It was definitely a two person task. Good selection and prices on live garden plants, flowers, and herbs, too.

Fantastic local pet store. Best frozen mice/rats if you have snakes. Staff are friendly and the bulk dog biscuits are a family favorite. The Golden and the charcoal are the favorites of our dogs

One of the best family owned pet stores in this area. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Selection is top notch and reasonably priced. They have a great selection of fresh and salt water tropical fish.

Beware of buying tropical fish for your aquarium if youve already got fish in the tank. Several African cichlids of mine died from a severe case of ick after buying feeder fish. My brother also lost most of his fish when he bought an Angel fish for his tank. Dont be fooled, the staff is not very knowledgeable on tropical fish.

I have been coming here since I was a small child. If your looking for a puppy to adopt, they always seem to have some available. They can be extremely expensive, and I am not sure where the dogs come from, but my family has adopted a few dogs from them in the past.

As I worked there almost two years I did my job and then some I try to be good employee I had some issues with my manager in the fish department I told my bosses about them and did nothing they made excuses for her and that’s fine .... I’m not saying the store isn’t a good place to go because you can find a few good staff that will go Beyond their means to help you will be able to tell which ones to ask for help ...my opinion may make them mad but I’m not going for that ... I did enjoy working there when I wasn’t having problems with the manager .... don’t let my opinions stop you from going there... unfortunately I will be buying all of my fish supplies elsewhere they have a wide range supplies for your pet needs good store butt not a good place to workChris M.

Great pet store! Many varieties of small furry animals and birds. The large aquatics department is beautiful and well cared for. Tanks are clean and fish are healthy. Staff is very knowledgeable. There is an alley that leads to the parking area that is easy to miss.

This place is the bomb. Its got radishes, pig ears and snake repellent- almost anything you need for a reasonable price. Only thing- they have adorable animals but- they need more! Last time sis was upset they had no cats.
