Bought a shed here that I was charged extra for you want good service go anywhere but manards

One guard at gate customer sat in place, making a train of cars behind. Why wouldnt a manager come outside in the heat and have them move out of the way, so that the only guard working the gate could help customers wanting in and out of the back loading area? The guard kept speaking to someone on his walkie talkie, why didnt they come out in the heat and help so that the other four cars waiting could move on?

Looking for area rugs... small in store selection but good prices. Hard to find assistance to help with purchase

Unsatisfactory service. Purchased a new upright freezer, was charged over $100.00 for delivery. Delivery scheduled between hrs of 7am to 12pm. Didnt arrive until after after 1pm. $20.00 of delivery was for going down 1 flight of stairs. My time is as valuable as anyone, shouldnt have to wait un-nessesarily.!!

I have been a steady customer since Menards first opened. Great store, great prices most of the time. Selection is getting poor and prices are skyrocketing. Not just Menards, but its out of control.

We got most of the items we went for but were disappointed at the Halloween selection. So gave them a 3 star instead of 4.

Not so good, plant I had picked out didnt ring up right price from the signs I saw on it, had to go thru several people to get them to honor the price since it was their error and when trying to find a part for my grill, the one associate, who I found out was a manager of that dept,seemed irritated and wasnt too friendly when I asked about ordering a part. That store definitely needs a course on customer service, especially some of the management.

The young gentleman who took us out to the garden center and helped us get the Rock I dont know his name Im sorry he was very helpful and then the gentleman who put the Rock in our car was very nice

Ordered a fridge and stove over a month ago to be delivered yesterday no email no call no appliances. Is this how you do business? Over a month of no status updates. I’ll never spend money here again

I like this Menard’s and have pretty good luck at finding what I need in there. The staff is always friendly and never seem like you’re bothering them. It clean, organized and plenty of parking for all.

Guy wouldnt measure carpet roll to see if there was enough,but he could spend ten minutes measuring roll height,and telling me to go to Davenport.joke.

Menards is my #1 place. I just get turned around between the Moline and Davenport stores, because they are the exact opposite from each other.

I was able to find the things I needed in a reasonable time. I hadnt been here in quite awhile since it is farther than I like to travel. I decided to go here because I havent been here for a long time. They did have 1 foam paint brushes that I couldnt find in the other hardware stores. Also had a good price on contractor plastic bags.

Online ordered building products. Never received an E-mail stating that I could pick up the material that I purchased. It clearly states, that I will receive an email when THEY are ready.......Have fought with them for 2 days and still havent received my merchandise. But they have my money. Now Im just going to drive over there and demand my merchandise.

If youre not a dude wearing a tool belt employees basically ignore you.

Customer service SPOT ON! With having over 20 years of retail & sales, I know the employees on the floor, answered questions, took me to where product was & didnt just point. I was on a riding cart, the cashier took all of my merchandise out & put on checkout counter. She then called for a carry out & a young gentleman came & helped. He put my bags where I asked with a smile! Kudos to employees & management at the Moline Illinois store! Will definately be back. The store was stocked well & clean. The price tag on shelves were legible & lined up with product. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

When to Menard with the Son-in-law to get chain link fence. We found everything there that we needed. Service was friendly and helpful.

My husband is unable to conform to your mask policy due to a health condition. He went in the store without a mask, purchased what he went to your store, for and upon leaving was confronted by the manager who was rude, disrespectful and not willing to let my husband speak. Raising his voice and using profane language..Let me just say, WE WILL NEVER SET FOOT BACK INTO THIS STORE. We will not be disrespected and treated in that manner. Completely unprofessional and totally uncalled for. . A simple conversation was all that needed to take place, and unfortunately for this company, it didnt happen. It will be my pleasure to travel another direction to avoid such treatment. Your loss not ours.

Went to buy some bolts for my mower handle and also a new mower,the young lady who helped me was very nice,helpful and knew her job.

Customer service is great. I didnt have a receipt for an item I was wanting to return. The young man at the customer service desk assisted me and with his help I got the full purchase price of the item I was returning. No questions asked, no judgment. Great experience.

Couldnt find what i needed the guy i asked was rude and just gave directions. Still didnt find what i was looking for once i got there tried to get some assistance from 1 of the 2 people helping 1 person as i waited pateintly for them to say will be with you in a sec or something they walked off.

Tons of options but a bit hard to find things if you arent familiar with the store.

I bought some mulcher and they loaded my car for me that was very nice of them and thank you again

I would rank a 5 but as of the last year maybe, I have had not so pleasant visits due to the hiring of young adults who could honestly bump you as they walk past not say excuse me hello can I help you with anything. Just rude and have no knowledge of what they are selling or not so well knowledge of the areas they work in. I love menards just have a big problem with this, it has happened on a number of occasions I dont want to take my business elsewhere please fix! P.S. im not and old disgruntled man either in my 30s and feel this way lol

Id rate it higher if they had more knowledgeable employees. Far too many times I have asked for help, only to have them have absolutely no clue.

Old guy in lumber yard is awsome. Everyone else was extremely unprofessional and not helpful at all. More of a group of teenagers hanging out instead of working. If you must go find the older people to ask.

We recently bought a Christmas Tree at Menards-Moline for $38. It was a short needled tree about 7 feet tall. It is now in our living room and is beautiful! We will be sure to come your store next year for our tree. Good job Menards!

This place is an outhouse....out of this, out of that and not just during COVID-19. To extenuate it further its on the far side of IL Quad Cities from Rock Island.Will be shopping at the Davenport Menards (which never seems to have this issue) and hoping that one day Rock Island will get a Home Depot, Lowes, Thiesens, Blaine, Ace Hardware or ffs anyone that carries bandsaw blades, sanding belts, drill bits etc. (Stuff you should always have on hand instead of grocery items)

Purchased 6 replacement board to fix privacy fence. Everything went well in the store. In the lumber yard was interesting. No was sure where theyre located in the garden. Asked for help. This person wasnt sure, but he checked with another employee and located the items that I needed.

Love the selection. Still dont like the awkward streamlined checkout that puts you at the checkout persons back while you bag your own stuff. Happy to bag stuff, but miss the human touch of looking at and talking with checkout person face to face. Poor choice, Corporate folks, poor choice.

Big selection. It was difficult finding anyone to help with questions. Also, they didnt have any cherry wood on hand, bummer.

I love Menards it is not only for working men. There is a lot for woman in the work force and for the home. I could spend hours in there and have before.

Took my wife to Menards,she recentlySprained both ankles, and cant walk much! So it was good she found one of two electric carts available for her to ride in. We did our shopping and when we got to the checkout!? There was already and elderly man waiting for the electric cart my wife was on.The elderly man said, he broke his hip and could not walk, so he needed the electric cart. For Menards being a big company they should look out for the customers and have more electric carts available for the customers that need them.

Very big. The cheapest options as well as higher quality ones. Illinois taxes though. Go across the river to get 1.5% off ...of sales tax.

Had to ask a question, got the same treatment in this Menards as almost every other Menards Ive ever been into, with respect and courteousness. Not enough help! Service people seemed like it was a chore to help us while we purchased new appliances and spent a lot of money. Was told had to buy the floor model because the warehouse was on backup. No deal at all to take the floor model which everyone has opened it and touched it. Never saw anyone wiping appliances down.

Its a really nice store.

The rebate marketing program is a scam! Now they are telling customers they will need to wait (8) to (12) weeks for the rebate checks. Then they say you can got to a website to check your rebates and nothing. Menards if you are going to run a rebate marketing campaign make sure you are honest enough to give out rebates ina timely manner.

Great price for an air conditioner

I was looking for totes. They had most of them on the floor with signs that were sometimes hard to spot. I remember when they had 1 full aisle of totes big and small. I hope they sont do away with selling totes cause I know Im not the only one who needs them at times. Checkout was speedy and the young man was very polite.

Menards black Friday sale was well organized, so easy to navigate through the store & the employees working the registers were very nice & got people through quickly

Recently saw a hardware manager worker raise their voice to another hardware worker because they had put cart to the side to pick up after someone else’s garbage that was left on top of the items where no costumer can look at if they needed it, and then shoved a white paper into the basket of the flat cart that they were going to put away because they finished with putting the stuff away that was on that cart. also noticed when a costumer comes up to them and the costumer waits for them to finish helping someone else or whatever they case is but still proceeds to have some sort of attitude. all i’m saying is that was not needed, other then that everything else is good

Awful, 1st Im handicapped and both scooters were dead. Then I tried to talk to someone at customer service, got nowhere. Bought a generator from them a few years back, used it once and needed it this last power outage. Didnt work (it was a Pulsar), have been to 4 places, no one would even work on it or get parts. So wanted to see if they would give me some credit on it to buy a new one. Said there was no one to talk to. Left very angry and disappointed. $400. Use it once throw it away. Very sad they dont stand by the stuff they sell. Oh and it was made in China. Buyer beware!!

Fairly uninvolved staff. Customers having difficulty locating items were asked by 30% of employees if they could help. Exceptional young man at entrance was engaging and very focused on positive words.

Most dont offer an 11%rebate on anything they sell even when its on sale . even after the sale ends they will give you a slip to honor the rebate sale you may have just missed the week prior. great across the board .

Employee was helpful. Website said 205 items in stock. Not 4 or 15--TWO HUNDRED FIVE. How many were actually in stock? Zero.Were continuously told to shop online IN THESE UNCERTAIN TIMES, how its so much more convenient than shopping in the store, how its so much safer than shopping in the store. You should expect then that information found online concerning store inventory is current within an hour. Its not difficult to tie inventory count to the POS system. 205 items listed as for sale in store and discovering the reality that 0 items are listed isnt a simple counting error; its misleading and lowers the likelihood that a customer will return.

Have never been a fan of their rebate program. Lowe’s program is much better and can all be handled online. This location also struggles with customer service. If you need help it’s an inconvenience for some people. Customer service has 1 person on weekends which is a joke, always plan on long lines for returns.

Accused of stealing a $1.99 pencil sharpener. If you forget an item on the counter your options are A) be accused of stealing it or B) buy another and avoid the embarrassing wait at the security camera room while we check this.Maybe that mask policy has them a little cautious on thieves... 🤔😷

Couldnt get help in the yard but the lumber I purchased was straight and true.

All items on flyer at .99 cents were gone. Does say while supply last but supply can be any were from 1 to 100000 and I dont think it is ever 100000. Its all most like a bait attack to get you into the store. I cant remember the last time I was at Lowes or Home Depot to get a special advertised item and they said everything is gone on that ad. 40 items and all gone. 🤔

IT IS A GOOD PLACE TO GO TO FOR YOUR MONEY.

Was looking to buy a propane tank for the smoker. The employee at the desk said all the tanks are empty. They dont sell filled tanks. I find that stupid but was not in the mood to argue or escalate. Propane Exchange in quotes because apparently they do not exchange them. Ridiculous!

Only complaint I have is the whole mask issue. I can go to Lowes and I dont have to wear one or Home Depot. But your company MAKES me wear one. Not cool....
