If you desire poor customer service and bad cashiers, Monroe’s Michaels is the place for you. First of all, the store is understaffed and no one was available to help my wife find the paint she was looking for. Furthermore, after she finally found what she wanted and was checking out, the system would not take any of her cards (these card’s balances are all more than enough to cover the transaction). The cashier refused to simply type in the card number because I assume they were too lazy to do so. I called the store and explained what had happened. I was put on hold and later told “I hope you have a great day” and abruptly hung up on. Not only is this store unprofessional and lazy, they are also downright rude. This is not the Michaels I remember. It’s as if Monroe’s Burger King staff are now also running Michaels. This is downright UNACCEPTABLE. I would give 0 stars if possible

Micheals is great, they are always up keeping with the latest, employees are all friendly and helpful.

I could not speak more highly of this particular outlet. I have been going here for all my arts and crafts needs. Most of the staff has been very helpful but I have to brag on the one employee I have dealt with the most. Her name is Stacy and you can tell she lives and breathes Michaels, I have never seen anyone more passionate about this particular field of work and honestly, I am inspired when I go to a place like Michaels looking for inspiration and meet people working there with such enthusiasm. I would highly suggest going to Michaels in Monroe, they have most definitely earned their five star review.

I was able to get this market set for 15.99 and theyre good for me since Im just starting out. Michaels has lots of sales if you can catch them!

I wish they had a better inventory but this place has a special spot in our hearts.

I love Michaels so much! It’s one of my favorite craft stores, however, yesterday on the day of September 29, I was slightly disappointed. I was going in the hopes of buying some Halloween decor. They still had some but it was already on sale for 40% off and very much of it was gone and sold out. It looked like they were already putting it away, as well as genera fall and thanksgiving, to make room for Christmas stuff! Don’t get me wrong. I love Christmas but I wish stores still did how they did in the past and not put out the decor till the month of the holiday! They bring stuff out too soon and put it away too early! It’s too soon for Christmas! It’s not even October yet and they’re already practically out of Halloween decor. If you wanted some from them I suggest you go right now because they probably won’t have any by the second week of October. Even though that’s the month they should be selling Halloween stuff 🙄🙄I love Michaels but I’m greatly disappointed right now. It’s not just them though. It’s practically all stores.

Bought an item in Alexandria didnt open it. Went to return it in Monroe and the manager and staff was so rude about it I will never shop there again. Yes I had receipt just after watching videos I realized it wasnt something I was going to be able to do. It was a 400.00 purchase. They refused to take it due to virus and ok i understood that but they proceeded to tell me even after virus they wouldnt take it back.

Art and craft buffs surely love this store vending a lot variety of brand products at affordable rates in many instances.Neatly maintained rest room.Lot items to choose.Parking facility online service available at this famous shop in America. Yes swear.

Public restroom here.Their prices are moderate to moderately high. The atmosphere to me doesnt fit a craft store. The Decor also doesnt fit. My biggest issue with Michaels stores and their Website, is they have lots of choices in stock, except for what you want..... In summation, I will continue to go to Hobby Lobby instead of Michaels.-Paul Lemoine

They have a pretty good selection of craft supplies. Prices seem a little high, but you can usually get a good coupon to bring the prices to within reason. Seems in a bit of disarray most of the times. I would definitely recommend.

They have everything you need to do art and crafts with, from jewelry to toys and paintings. Also have different whatnots to decorate your home and business with.

Very talented staff and very helpful. Kudos to management helping out the other day when I needed a glue gun but could not find it. Out of the holy trinity of craft stores I visit, Michaels always has a great selection of paints and yarn.

I found everything I needed

I was quite pleased with the selection of yarn at this store. They have a nice variety of yarn weights and materials (cotton, acrylic, wool, bamboo, blends). More than other national brand craft stores. The store itself would do well with better overall maintenance and restocking.

Found a container tote normally $41.99 on sale for $14!!! Its perfect, I always find something that is great.Only problem was the restrooms were out of order.
