BEWARE - I took my 2001 Club Car to Dave after experiencing abrupt stalling issues with my golf cart. This was a tricky repair because the cart ran great at times and would run without stalling for long periods of time. Dave told me he drove my cart for hours and made the appropriate adjustments and we were good to go. After picking up the cart and transporting it to the island (ferry boat each way $$) we drove it 100 yards and it stopped running. I brought this to Dave’s attention looking for guidance on next steps and he told me to take it somewhere else he was too busy.*This is the exact note I sent for Dave regarding my golf cart*.(I called Dave after 6 days with no update). This was apparently rude and disrespectful according to Dave’s reply below. He also stated that details were not included see list I provided Dave below.Hello as we discussed over the phone.The Golf cart - runs well then suddenly stalls out and won’t run for awhile. After sitting it will run well again?1) Install new carburetor (in box of golf cart). I did forget to leave this and dropped it off the following day.2) Reinstall the headlight switch that fell behind the dashboard with knob3) fix stalling issue. - key concern4) increase speed a little if it isn’t harmful to the engine.This golf cart is typically located on an island. I prefer not to have to pay ferry for additional repairs and maintenance.Last year I replaced fuel filter and tubes, oil change, air filter, spark plug. His response was take it somewhere else. Even if he was treated poorly (he wasn’t) he should stand behind his work and he isn’t that is why I took the time to share this feedback.
