Needed a steam radiator moved to a new location. Sippin installed a new steam boiler for me several years back and did an outstanding job on the piping (which can be tricky on a steam system). They did not let me down this time. The job took less time than expected and the piping was perfect. Highly recommend!

Our experience with Charlie, along with his co-worker Will, was nothing but positive. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, personable, and committed to ensuring that our families safety was a priority while installing our propane tank and checking all of the lines to make sure there were no risks. Charlie found two minor leaks and didn’t finish the job until he was confident that all of the lines connecting to our house were secured and 100%. The communication on arrival of appointment by email and text is very helpful. Brandon and his assistant diagnosed the issue and determined that Sippin had not installed the thermostat properly for heat and Rich who came out twice could not identify that this was the problem not a new part. Once they figured that out, they were able to solve the issue and give me heat again. The problem was solved and addressed in less than an hour. Thank you!

Edit/UPDATE:Eric Sippin reached out to me regarding the review and the customer service experience. He was genuinely concerned and had researched my situation and found some ways that the company can be more transparent with charges in the future. He was able to further correct the issue for us on an individual basis, for which I am appreciative. For that effort, and the fact that they seem to be quite concerned for the customer, I have updated the review and will once again consider them for future oil and service needs.Original Review: We had been Sippin customers for a couple of years now, unfortunately wont return. We always had positive experiences with service technicians and the oil deliveries came as agreed. We however dont like some tricky business practices that will cost you money if you leave them.We had to find another company for oil delivery this year because Sippin couldnt even come remotely close to the rates we were able to get. They stopped offering fixed price plans and offered price cap plans - at a higher per gallon cost than years past. We notified them we were switching providers, and they scheduled a time to remove their Gremlin tank monitor. We had switched a few years back for a year before going back to them and it was no issue. This time, after the tech left, we found ourselves charged a significant fee to have them remove their own equipment! This was apparently buried in some fine print. OK, you got me on it....but they never offered me the chance to remove it and drop it off, etc. Shame on me for not noticing, but such a poor way to rip off customers - it will leave a long lasting bad taste in my mouth and I wont be able to recommend Sippin any more.

Very professional and friendly crew. I believe Charles Parkhurst was the lead tech but both techs were great. They came out and installed my personal 100 gallon propane tank and disconnected another company’s rented tank. They also tested my existing lines and hooked up my bbq grill. Sippin installed a Gremlin Tank Monitor so they can estimate my Heating Oil needs more accurately. With todays supplemental heating sources, it is very difficult to estimate your needs based on outside temperatures and historic usage. This thing is a game-changer, I suggest every customer install one. Sippin rocks !

Justin arrived on time and reviewed the issues we are having. He troubleshot the system and determined the thermostat was not sending a signal to the evaporator unit and found the blower motor relay was stuck open. He ordered the part and would be contacted when it arrived. He was very professional and easy to work with.

Hi. First of all let me say that were big fans of Sippin and recommend them to all our friends and family. And, I was a remodeling contractor for over 35 years so I wrote the book on messing up at customers homes. And, I was not here when your fellow came to do the yearly service.Here are the issues:He left a small mess of oily, granular sand on the floor and tops of the washer and dryer. ( We just got newly cleaned rugs so I was a little concerned. I vacuumed it up.Two, he told my wife that there was no obvious replacement air for the burner and guessed that it must come from the open ceiling and that we should leave the oil furnace room door ajar so there arent any burner problems.Heres the issue, theres a 4 rigid pipe going to an outside vent for the replacement air in plain sight ! I dont blame him, or my wife, for not knowing about replacement air. He should have received the appropriate training and, obviously, did not.Everything else about the service call was perfect and we continue to be faithful customers.

I like the service format, office staff and service techs. All have communicated very well, I would recommend them.

They added a mobile oil tank monitoring system. They told me who was coming (Mike Beers) and emailed me his photo, so I had comfort letting him into my home. He explained things about my system in my new home. Mike was knowledgeable and professional and explained several things I didn’t know about my heating system. He also offered to look at the Propane tank and made recommendations for someone in his company to come and look at it and I would definitely consider using them for my generator.

I have to say, the employees at Sippin are very professional and must be valued highly by their employer because it shows in the attention they give their customer, even if the customer is not yet a full on board customer. My family and I are thankful to Joe Rajcula for his e-mail and phone response to our problem with our boiler on a Sunday. He immediately jumped into action to help us; considering we didnt have a contract with the company yet. Their tech, Seth, was extremely professional, answered any questions we had and made sure to walk us through what he was repairing. It was nice to see a fellow young person with great work ethics. This morning their customer service team called to thank us for the business and Art walked us through their service contract, all reasonable. They have a customer in us for life!

Sippin service is usually impeccable and I have never had any sort of issues until my last service. I was not home during the service but my significant other was. The two issue that came up were as follows, Tech was on the phone for an extended amount of time swearing profusely loudly enough to be heard from the main level of the house. A little bit of an issue when working from home and conducting conference calls. And secondly Our washer and dryer are directly across from our furnace so when I returned home I noticed that the top of our dryer was dirty with black soot and covered in scratches as if it was being used as a table. In short, the lack of professionalism seen during our service call was disappointing.**UPDATE**The Sippin team contacted me via email and by phone shortly after posting my review. I spoke with Eric Sippin who was genuinely concerned about my experience. Eric addressed the issue professionally and issued a credit even though he did not have to. I will continue to support Sippin and I thank them for their excellent customer service.

Damon the maintenance young man was wonderful he came on time and did a great job however, days before when we were due for an oil delivery, the delivery person would not cross my front lawn with the hose because of snow. We were well on empty in our tank and sippin made us snow plow our front lawn to make a path. And we were left two more days with our heat turned almost off to preserve oil. Unacceptable that they would not walk across my lawn because it wasn’t plowed. Who plows the front lawn?

$105 for a gremlin removal, that they insisted on coming out to remove, which I could have easily removed myself.Updated 3/1/2021: I spoke with Eric, who investigated and updated Sippin’s policy as a result of this review. Today, my a/c system, installed by Sippin last summer, had its first spring start up and annual tune up. They very kindly moved up my scheduled appointment by a week for my comfort and convenience, as the weather has turned very warm and I had concerns starting it for the first spring since it was installed because there were a lot of leaves that had blown into the outside unit. The tech was friendly, knowledgeable, patient in answering all of my questions - professional in every way! I highly recommend this company. I also use Sippin for my home heating oil, and have a service contract with them to maintain my oil burner. I am VERY happy I choose Sippin!

I wanted to get a larger propane tank installed so we could use propane to power my new back-up generator as well as my kitchen stove. The generator was working by early November. its now February and the extra cable to handle the propane was just installed this week. Im now waiting for the town to check it out.The Sippin staff were polite and pleasant, but nobody really owned my project. It took forever to get the estimate signed beause Sippin had a new computer app that made the bid disappear after only one day. Since I sometimes dont get to my e-mail every day, this was a pain and a source of frustration.

Sippin Company has been Going on now 6 years a great company to work with. There a tad bit higher than some and lower than others when it comes to there fuel plans. However there decent, fair and ethical and do the right thing when it needs to be done. There competitive but fair. I enjoy talking to one of the owners, there admin staff, there servive.manger, fuel manger and especially there in the field staff. I used other firms HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN. That’s why I’m with Sippin.

Water pressure valve was failing and pipes shook and produced loud bang everytime any water was used. Whether tub, faucet, toilet and even the ice maker. Was afraid a pipe would eventually blow.Jeff came, changed valve, welded pipes and adjusted pressure to our needs. Great guy. Professional, worked fast and cleaned up everything before leaving. Very good experience, Sippin is fortunate to have him.

True professionals very happy with the service

I’m giving the workmen five stars, and the business itself three or lower. The workers are always competent, friendly, and do a good job. The devil is in the executives and office staff, who know they have you locked into a contract and do not treat customers with any level of urgency. I usually have to follow up on issues three or four times before I get any results, but when my tank is low they’re here without warning. I fear that once you sign on the dotted line you are just a cash cow until you get fed up and leave.

The Sippin technician was polite and knew his product. He was on time and quickly got to work on cleaning our furnace. He answered all of our questions and gave us some pointers. A very good representative of the company. As always over the last 15 years, we were 100% happy with the service from Sippin. Job well done!
