My buddy and I have been watching this company for awhile. But we grabbed the families and took a trip to the new shop.They are still working on the shop but it adds to the overall feel. The place was clean and you can tell everyone takes pride in their job.We were helped by Jenna (she is not just their model) and she could not of been nicer. I came in to buy the X001 but did not have a pair of pants in my size. She found another material for me to try on for fit and she told me I could have them made. I bought the ones I tried in and also ordered the X001. Looking forward to getting them in a few weeks.My wife is not a fan of denim but she liked the style so much she also bought a pair.We talked with the barbers and they were fun. They were booked up for the day so no haircuts this visit but that will likely change in the future. Especially since they also offer a variety of beverages.This is how a business showed be run. You pay alittle more but you get good quality that will last.

Absolutely amazing product at a fair price! But what I was most impressed with was the jeans travelling from Monrovia to my doorstep in England in less than 48 hours! You have a customer for life in me now.

I ship all of my raw denim here since there’s literally no tailor I can trust near me. Measurements and stitching are always on point. If you’re spending $300+ on jeans, get them tailored properly by the best. And they always meet their promised delivery time. Sometimes they even come a couple weeks sooner if they’re not busy.

Amazing tapering service!!! Highest recommendation! I sent them my brand new black 14oz Iron Heart 777s for taper and hem service and I couldnt be more pleased. It is obviously risky tailoring denim that costs hundreds of dollars - especially requesting them to taper the leg opening by 2 full inches - but I gave it a shot and Railcar did a perfect job. I also love the form they provide on their website to enter the measurements of the taper at the thigh, knee, and leg opening. I will only use Railcar Fine Goods for all my denim tailoring.Update one year later: Ive now had 3 pairs of Iron Hearts tapered here and Railcar has done a perfect job with all 3. Looking forward to using them for other denim repair services!

Brought 2 pairs of jeans to have them down sized. They brought them down 2 sizes, they now fit amazingly. I personally dropped them off and picked them up. Everyone there was incredibly friendly and professional.

I sent my Naked & Famous Elephant 8s in for a taper and when I got them back they still fit a little loose around the thighs for my taste. I contacted Railcar about it and they said to ship them back for a re-taper and to just pay shipping. I got them back about a day ago and they now fit perfect! Thanks so much for all the help through this process. The work is top notch and customer service was stellar. Highly recommended.

Ordered a deuce jacket over the phone/online. Custom. I’m about 6’5” and needed a tall. Ended up making a Medium with 3” added to the length of sleeves and coat length. It worked perfectly. The staff did an amazing job and the construction is perfect as well. Highly recommend

Love the quality but if only the Service there would reflect the quality. Bought 4 shirts and the cashier just threw it inside the bag without folding it. She handed me the change to which I said thanks, she just walked away lol. My gosh.

Purchased jeans to buy American made clothing. Unfortunately they fell way short. The jeans ripped first time I wore them at the seam on outside leg. They only offered to repair and that I pay for it. Only until the next day I put them back on and the button hole frayed, then I reached out again and explained and they said this was my fault for wearing them. I told them these are my only pair of jeans. All in all I had to demand a refund as they were trying to pass blame. Thankfully they gave me a full return but will forever be hesitant to buy from boutique clothing stores.

I have only used them for a remote tapering service but they deserve all 5 stars for allowing me to really feel like my denim was made for me! Amazing service and quality.

Bought a bunch of stuff from here when I was in town. The shop is beautiful, the staff incredibly sweet, and the goods just as amazing. I bought a pair of denim from them Ive hardly taken off since. I also love their leather eyeglasses case.

I had a great experience with Railcar. I needed to get my denims hemmed, so Steven measured me and got the hemming/stitching done in about 5 minutes. It exceeded my expectations. I got to take a tour of the workshop as well and it was cool to see the process they take to make their denims. I will definitely come back for my next pair!

Terrific craftsmanship, you can witness the pride taken in Steven and his crews work. Any repairs or alterations I will choose railcar every Time, especially for the more intricate Alterations one may require.

Ordered the 2 pair deal of Flight Trousers and I cannot be happier. They’re the perfect balance of quality and value. They are simeltaneously comfortable and rugged. Highly recommended!

I have a pair of Rising Sun denim that needed some darning and to have the size reduced so I could keep wearing them. I also had a couple pairs of 5.11 Tactical Flex jeans that I wanted downsized. I was a little bit embarrassed to ask to get work done on the 5.11 jeans as they are obviously not the type of thing this shop makes or would normally work on. Steven assured me over email that he could do it. When I came into the shop with my wife and son Steven was really kind and helpful and didnt act like it was odd at all that I was bringing in such inferior jeans. He took the time to show us around and gave us a tour of the shop. It was a great experience and really cool to see. I now am able to wear all my jeans again, all the darning and reduction in size was done very well. I will be back here soon to buy a pair from Steven.

My absolute favorite denim company. Their fits are the best I’ve ever found. I’m a denim head and believe these guys are the best.

Had my UB301s sent in for their tapering service. I cannot be more more pleased or satisfied with the work that was done. I will never have denim alterations done anywhere else! The work was of the best quality and the turnaround time was exactly as stated on the website.

Great products and they do excellent quality repair work, but they need to set better expectations about the length of time to complete a repair. In my experience, 2-3 weeks turns into 4-5 weeks. Easy problem to fix.

I utilized the mail in repair service. The work, though pricey, was done well. However, the 3 month turnaround time (May 4 - Aug 8) was more lengthy than the 3-4 weeks stated on the website. They do say more time may be needed based on the current volume but I did not expect an extra two months. Ill look for something local next time.
