I came here to buy a 2020 tacoma TRD off road with a 6 spd manual transmission and the truck was as described and even better that what I thought. The atmosphere is good and they didnt push me to buy the truck they negotiated with with and offered me the best deal possible. The truck was in a great shape with some small stains marks but it is nothing that cant be fixed with a good detail.

Amazing and courteous staff. Went above and beyond with customer service. Of you have credit problems and a decent down payment they will work with you especially if you have challenged credit. Overall pleasant experience.

Very satisfied with STG Auto Group Montclair location. As soon as we walked onto the lot we were approached by Kareem. He was very helpful and not pushy in any way. We found a vehicle we loved and quickly worked some numbers with the Manager Anthony. He also went above and beyond to keep us happy and was very straight forward. The buying process was so quick. It’s sounds corny but this experience was a blessing that happened so randomly that I’m grateful I decided to make one more call before going with my original plan.After looking at most of all the major dealerships in Long Beach, Panorama City, Pasadena, and Glendale the numbers everyone came up with just didn’t fit anywhere I wanted or had hoped for.It turned into Hours of haggling about prices, taxes, fees’ financing etc etc on top of outrageous numbers… yes’ the normality of car buying !! On top of COVID ( the worst time to buy cars ever! But somehow, STG came out of nowhere when I decided to make one last call while heading to a Dealership in Fullerton. I ended up calling STG and ran into Rene’ and he said.. just give me a chance.. (I thought’ yep… the same line I’ve heard over 20 times already) here we go again.In the end the STG staff came through with better numbers then anyone I sat with previously. Of coarse this usually ends up being 4 to 6 hours of going back and forth while you become drained right?? Honestly this place is amazing! We came in to buy a used car and Xaxier helped us so much, he was open and straightforward from the beginning. The whole process took about 5 days. They ripped off my friend … my friends are hard working handy man, their old truck broken and in desperate need of a new car to finish a project on time… my friends can’t speak English, at first they tried to scam her and told her because she was on working visa, so the rate will be 6.5% … but actually she has 800+ credit score and green card… 🙄 … they lowered the rate to 4% and told her because it’s a Van, it’s considered to be a commercial vehicle, so rate is higher.. they added 1100$ GPS 500$ window tint and 400$ door edge protector, wow…. That’s a lot of doors and windows, and must be a high end commercial GPS.. when they finally finished the paper work, they don’t even fill up the tank, and told them there is no used car dealership will fill up the tank, really??? 😑 that’s how they took advantage of those poor customer who can’t speak English or doesn’t know much about the car… I definitely won’t recommend any one to this dealership

This place is a scam don’t use them gave us a high car payment and told us we was with one bank turned out it was totally different bank don’t use them or you would be unhappy and they only give you 3 days to return car and they charges you 345 to do it scammers

Came here because of the great selection they have online. It was a smooth process from the beginning. I picked out the car i liked online with the features I wanted. Overall my experience was okay. It was a lot of back and fourth but finally left with our van after 5 hours of negotiations. The first salesman Juan was your typical salesman who tried to just make a sale without really listening to what we wanted. He assured us a certain price and once we shook on it he came out with paperwork that was completely extending our payments our for an entire extra year without our consent. However, Adan Hernandez was pleasantly different. He was honest, upfront and he tried to accommodate us. He even drove to a different location to get the car we ideally wanted. His customer service was outstanding and I’m glad he was the one who closed our deal. I was willing to purchase a second car but it seemed like the finance people lost interest because we were deemed difficult.

This is the worst used car dealership place in the world to buy a car. The staff was unprofessional,uneducated rude and have no manners and will try to ripped you off alm they can.They will tell YOU that they pre installed GPS for $1,500, just happen to be that we are looking for BMW, as you know every BMW installed that from the factory, all you have to do is download the apps second they will charge for $600 registration fee as every one know is 0.65% of the purchase price plus $46 and they try to charge you for $450 on top of $600 third, they will charge you $500 for the tint that’s it’s already factory installed, fourth they will charge $400 for door guard and once again it’s already factory installed, fifth they will charge for Bogus extended warranty for $3,500 and if you declined they will tell you flatly DONT BE CHEAP,INSULT YOU and BELITTLE YOU.. The very next day they will text you, saying is there anything that we can do to earn your business,, Really? They have some nerve to ask… PLEASE DONT BUY A CAR FROM STG AUTO GROUP PERIOD.. look elsewhere THIS PLACE ARE BIG RIPPED OFF ORGANIZATION….

I was supposed to do a review a while ago. But with time and awful scheduling I never got to it, but I always had it at the back of my mind to do because the customer service here was phenomenal. I am someone who hates being apart of any process that takes longer than 20 minutes. However this experience I had with them was great, I did forget the mans name that helped me unfortunately but he was great. I was irritated being there and he switched up my entire mood with his enthusiasm. He had such a great attitude and was so helpful and went as quick as possible while also being very efficient. I ended up enjoying his company because he was relatable, he understood my frustrations and worked to getting me out of there, I appreciated that he cared about my time. I wish I could have remembered his name as I did experience this a few moments ago. I wanted to do this review eventually because he did deserve it. Just from this one worker I believe this company has most likely many more employees who strive to give the best service.

Total scam. They showed me a report stating the car was never in an accident. It’s my fault for believing them. The next day I washed it and saw that the bumper had obviously been repainted. Then I see it’s misaligned with a gap on one side near the headlight and touching the headlight on the other side. Then it took me about a week to notice the hood was misaligned because it started to rattle on the drivers side.Also I was charged for accessories that weren’t even installed! I was told, while in the finance office, that my car had door guards already installed, so that’s why they were included in the overall cost. The next day I noticed they were NOT on the car.I would not recommend anyone buying from them because you don’t know what you’ll get.

Not a great place to buy a car!!! and if you get an extended warranty and take it in to get checked they will NOT give updates on your car, every time you call the ladies who answer never know what they are talking about and will give little to no information! Mechanics are never in to take your call and give an update! This place is horrible and unprofessional. They need receptionists that know what they are talking about when a car is brought to them and needs a check up and they they need to know how to relay appropriate information!! Come on STG get better staff please!!

The buying experience was tremendous, it’s been 4 months and I don’t remember names unfortunately. However this is regrettably one of those dealers that sells you something they say is “great” but in reality is not. I bought a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee- beautiful don’t get me wrong. However since the day we’ve bought it we notice it had the notorious dodge bubbling on the screen. I got in contact with service provider Andy within 3 days. Got an appointment to get the car checked and he checked it himself about a week later- agreed the car was bought this way. It’s almost unnoticeable at night and sadly for my family we had gone at night to purchase. Well he told me the dealer would be in contact with me to either let me know whether they could help me out or not. Well a couple weeks go by and no call. So I return the call and talk to a service manager who notified me that the dealer was going to make the move and go ahead and fix the problem. To just wait and either he or Andy will give me a call within the week. This was well over two months ago and I’m still waiting giving a call every week to find out what’s going to happen. If I fix this myself the bill is looking well over 2k for a Jeep I bought for more than 30k. I wish this happened a different way because this isn’t fair to the sales team who put the effort of giving us exactly what we wanted. And unfortunately the service team has failed. I’m not even mad they don’t fix it - I bought the truck. I’m truly just overly upset at the lack of service the service team has to give its customers after being told one thing I’m not stuck not knowing anything because no one has gave me a call no one has given me an update. To me that’s where they failed and that’s where the one star comes from. Make sure to check everything on the car before buying because even dealers that day “cars are top notch quality” can still be deceiving.

If I was able to put more than 5 stars I honestly would. They had an amazing selection of a variety vehicles on the lot. The salesman Joseph Lemus greated me as soon as I stepped on the lot. He wasn’t pushy like most salesman and was a great deal of help finding me the right vehicle.
