I went to check out if they have some flower bulbs and lucky me find so many varieties of flower bulbs that y endup get to many but I have a great shopping day! I wish they were cheaper than dollar for packaging 99 cents store is getting expensive!

This is one of the biggest 99 Cent Only Stores in the area. Its organized. Sometimes it offers different items other 99 Cent Only Stores dont have, so I like to peak in often and check it out. Large parking lot, across from the mall, shared the same parking lot as Target.

I love this store. Some times its a little messy, but I understand 🤷‍♀️ Always you can find a good deals. And they have LAMBRUSCO🍷❤💞❤

U never know anymore what price u are paying now. They change prices in computers before changing prices on items on floor

Not a fan of these different price changes. Not everything is marked . They really need to change name since itd not 99 cents. Also get updated machines you can even use apple pay.

They have good variety of goods. The employees are helpful and polite.

Was able to buy 6 packs of Downy 4-1 Tide pods for a dollar. So I bought 70 packs for almost !2 dollars which saved me money. 61 ct Tide pods at other stores costs between $18-20. Sometimes this store is a hit or miss.

I was in line waiting to pay for my purchase and one of the employees called me out of the line saying sir you need to come with me saying I had something in my hand and accused me of stealing and she made a whole situation out of it. When it was shown that I didnt steal anything she tried cracking jokes about what happened and tried to laugh it off. Not cool. Wasted my time and other customers time

Everything I needed to get I was able to find! Such low prices and good deals! It was also pretty clean.

I feel a little deceived. This place is called 99 cents only store. I get to the register to find out several items are ringing up for more than that. They need to do a better job with letting the consumer know which items are not 99 cents or update the name. The price is one of the main reasons for shopping there without that, business will decline.

Had a dash can. . . .seriously :) theyre always 99¢ for the most part except a few times where its more than 99¢ so be careful. (Corporate says there are many shoppers that prefer the above 99¢ priced objects, fun fact: that started with gallons of milk)

As to be expected Claremont/Montclaire 99 cents store was relatively clean and organized. The employees were polite. The line at the register I went to got to about 7 people and the cashier person Brenda shouted,I have a big line immediately someone on the pa system says,---open your register. Another young lady came to open and the line was relieved. All happened very fast!! And my register girl/lady was super nice with a positive attitude. This will be my 99cents store exclusively.

99 cents is not what it is, it should be called something else price wise

One of the best 99 cent stores Ive been to in a long time! Lots of cooking stuff. Plenty of great small gifts. Good storage and cleaning supply options. A variety of food and snacks. Personal care options. Craft sets. Toys. Games. Electronic accessories. Clothes and more. I was very happy with my visit.

This is a pretty decent store. Clean and orderly inside. Theres actually good merchandise; youd be surprised what you can get for a dollar, and theyve got a few things that are a couple dollars more that are even better.

New manager, Roy, is always very helpful and personable. Hes a nice addition to the Montclair store where you can find great deals and quick, friendly customer service.

Good food selection, looks fresh. Nice home decorations. Overall great variety.

Bad bad customer service. I called and asked if they had an iteam in stock the person who answered told me to come and check for myself 4/19/20 @10:05 am when I asked if an employee could go check for me she just hung up on me. Called back thinking maybe the phones got disconnected but she hung up on me again.

Employees here are really nice. I have my two favorite cashiers, very friendly.

I use to be a regular at this store and it was respectable, but today, 03/27/16 at roughly 16:00 hours, I found myself escorted out by police officers for the incompetence of a mystery employee I never got to see. I was having a rough time on their public restroom, constipated, and took a far longer than normal time to exit the restroom. I must have taken about an hour or so (Im guessing) but figured that it was no problem because nobody knocked on the door asking for me to hurry or notifying me that someone was waiting and nobody was waiting outside the stall. There was however someone that walked in and kept turning off the lights. At some point, this person also grabbed small noisy owl toys from the store and began to toss them at me from under the stall. They tossed one right at me and left the other just outside the stall. I thought it was just some kid trying to mess with me because I am a crippled man, so I ignored him. Again, never once did anyone ask me to leave or knock on my door. Fortunately I was able to finish, and just as I did, the police knock on my door telling me to get out. It was then that the police told me an employee was sent to the restroom and told to ask me to come out several times. The police were told that the employee did so and that I told them I wouldnt leave. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to connect the dots. That employee was the person that was mistreating me. It was because of that employee that the POLICE were interrogating me like some CRIMINAL. All it would have taken was a simple knock on the door, perhaps a, Sir, are you okay? Or even a, You need to get out now. But no. Now I am banned from that 99 Cents Only Stores in Montclair, CA. So there you have it. If you read this review and still choose to go to this store instead of another one, just be careful what youre getting into, because it could be any one of those male employees. I never got to see who it was through the restroom door. Its a real shame, because I really use to like this store too. If you are from corporate, or are a manager of this store, I invite you to look for the camera that covers the restroom corner of the store. If you see an employee pick up 2 owl toys in the row closest to the restroom, walk into the restroom with them, and walk out with none, you will know I am telling the truth.

Always accomodating and well stocked often when I visit. Cashiers so friendly. I bought a non stick pan for $4.00 costing well over $25.00 elsewear, namely Wal☆, and Targe. My result.....look no further 😚

Great place to shop for unique items. Consumer products, personal items are comparable to the name brands. Produce and perishables are a bargain, I buy mushrooms and salad its there. My favorite store.

They carry wine and beer. The Hite beer from Korea is an excellent buy. Nice light pilsener. Best place for gummy candies. Nice selection. Luv the Trolli sour bears.

The staff here is very friendly. I visited during the day and although many of the associates were stocking merchandise, they were still willing to answer my questions and help me find a few items.

This neighborhood 99 Cents is the best when it comes to employees was short 3 cents and instead of putting something back the employee jokingly said nxt time u come in u pay me 10 cents I said Ill bring you 25 cents that was koo and it was closing time

They have lots of stuff, the aisles are wide and its pretty clean, so for a 99 Cents store, its pretty good! Also they had enough cashiers working so we didnt have to wait very long in line.
