Looks like theyre trying to make a comeback. Still a nice place to go to remember what going out to the malls meant.

A decent mall with run-of-the-mill stores. I like that theres a Barnes & Noble, H&M, Aeropostale, and F.Y.E. here. However, a walk around will reveal pretty dead areas of the mall, especially once you pass where JC Penney is near and go toward the new AMC wing. The dead Sears and Nordstrom wings are very void of life, with the stores near each clinging onto life. I know Montclair Place remodeled its food court a few years ago and the overall mall interior underwent a refresh, so I think overall its a decent mall. But like many modern American malls, it is facing more and more vacant spaces from shuttered retail names.

This is a nice mall with a lot to do and shop. They have interesting stores that you would normally not see at other malls including Japanese stores and collectibles stores. They also have name brand stores. There are 2 locations for Wetzels Pretzels. There are a lot of jewelry stores too. The parking is not difficult and there is easy to find parking anywhere.

Oh my God! We enjoyed the the Starbucks, the Cinnabon, JCP, Macys and all the shopping. The mall was fresh and exciting. The staff was very helpful and the environment overall is welcoming! There was a lot of good deals

One of the few Malls that are considerate of both vaxx peeps and non- vaxx peeps! Was nice to walk around around like a halfway normal person

I love Monclair Mall. It has a variety of stores that I enjoy shopping at.

They can reserve you a table for a big party and the site is big enough for a big party. The music is good. Sometimes it is not too good but I guess thats due to the DJ selection. The dance floor is good and there are clean bathrooms.The last 4 times that I have been there, I havent seen anyone. Too bad for me, I am only giving 2 stars for the fact that it is too far from me. Im kidding!! Hahaha

Theres a lot of vacant stores, plus Sears and Nordstrom left leaving just JCPenny and Macys. What used to be a high end jewelry store is now some kind of carnival target practice store, you could rent a electric big wheel and mow people down, and theres a huge spot for vaccines and virus testing (two if you count the bus out back). Clothing options for men are a joke. The photo I attached is what Macys thinks I should be wearing... I dont think so.

Recent renovations and addition of The Canyon Club makes this very walkable, beautiful retail space a destination spot. Great eats, kid space and movie theatre too! Kudos to mall management!

Be cautious this mall has stores that resell items at more than double the price of neighboring stores. Should be illegal like price gouging!! Then to top it off after I pay the receipt says no returns. Avoid the store called The Liq at all cost unless you have shopped everywhere and its last resort. I feel the mall is responsible for allowing stores like this to steal from people. $90 shoes for $195 is beyond ridiculous

After the renovation this place is even more amazing. It really is a great mall and its surrounded by all kinda of other places too. Target, best buy, only 99, Ross, etc. Fantastic location!

If they open more good stores then itll be one of best malls out there.

Lots of stores to choose from and good brands. Food choices are average; i think better budget friendly than restaurants outside. I go there mostly for book store and f.y.e.A nice place to walk around if you have nothing else to do.

Love shopping here not very crowded. Ive been to the Ontario Mills Mall and it was terrible it was like Disneyland. People all around you, you couldnt even walk, took my son here because he had to exchange something he bought online .

It was so great to see the mall opening back up after covid. I went to bath and body works and got in without having to wait in line. Then I went to Starbucks. It was pretty busy. I walked by the food court and people were sitting around eating and talking. Everything was open and it smelled great. Mostly everyone was wearing a mask so I missed seeing the expressions on their faces but am hopeful that wont be the case soon. I heard someone say they were on their way to the movie theater, another plus. All I can say is that it was wonderful to be able to go out again!

Worst place to ever go. the security people are very rude!! They made me and my friend leave for no reason🤦‍♀️ we were just doing our business, and the security came and told us to leave and she was being all rude about it and just giving us attitude!! i hope that security gard loses her job.

Several new shops and updated decors. Not the Montclair Plaza of the past, but definitely for the better.

Nice place for shopping theres some good stores here with good food in the court. This place is Nicely remodeled and theres still some work going on here but not a problem while shopping, theres also plenty of parking and clean restrooms. It was a great experience here.

Had business at T Mobile. It was very easy. informative and productive

The mall is finally open again. A nice place, fairly large. Clean. However, some stores cleaned up and left, and others like FYE were closed. The food court was mostly closed. Who knows if the new AMC movie theater under construction for a long time will ever open. The Disney store was open as well as Barnes and Noble.

Watched a movie in the new AMC theater and it was a great experience. The service and staff were great.

Montclair Place is a nice mall and getting better.. its family friendly to go shopping, for a walk, to get a bite to eat or just hang out. With upgrades to the food court, the food options are great btw.. and new additions like the Canyon, Kids Empire and eventually the new AMC cinema under construction will add an excellent entertainment alternative and new restaurants. Been coming here for years and finally great to see improvements happening.. great job!

Great stores. Clean. Not too crowded

They have a space 2138 on the upper level for Covid Testing and Vaccines. I don’t mind the vaccines but there should be a warning outside that possible infected people are walking through the mall to get tested. The employees working there are all wearing full PPE gear so they obviously don’t want to get sick but everyone else can. Not cool

The new AMC is under construction. There are other new tenants. The food court has been renovated and re branded. It looks a lot better and has some fresh tenants. They have a cool wall art piece in the parking structure. The bridge from the parking structure to the mall looks great. The inside has a lot of seating and common areas. The mall looks great, especially for the area.

Amc is by far the nicest movie theater in the area by a long shot. Reserve seating and the service is terrific. The seating is great no matter where u sit. Also the chairs are comfty and have heated seats which is the coolest. If you are a shareholder tickets are nearly half off and with the free large popcorn u save tons of money. Really good movie experience and cannot wait to return

Im usually here when its not crowded so from that experience its nice . Im happy with the renovations just hope they can keep up with the movie theater.

Took my great grandchildren there first time spend a couple of hours there and they enjoyed it at the Empire play

Its a great mall and not crazy pack like the other malls. They renovated the mall and it looks amazing. They recently added AMC which Is great since its inside the mall. The only downside of the mall is that it doesnt doesnt have a lot of stores. Some stores are closing, which gives you the less option to shop at that mall. Hopefully they open more stores inside.

I love this place they have so many stores. I dont know where to start and plus they have the AMC theater.

My reviews are not paid or endorse. Not much to review. A buddy and I went bike riding in the parking lot Montclair Plaza before stores open. Parking structure ramp is excellent to get your leg workouts weather cycling or walk run.

Montclair place is realy nice inside. Was exceptionally clean for a large Mall definitely will return to this Mall in the future

Limited access due to public health precautions require extended hiking through adjacent department store was expected. Located the retail establishment intended, and a seamless return to our parking spot was no big deal. Enjoyed moderate patron traffic, and courteous retail staff was appreciated.

Me personally, I like the atmosphere of this place. Its not all crowded like other malls. I have been going to this mall since 1984 and its still ALL GOOD!!!!!

This mall is pretty good. Lots of stores, lots of variety. The food court could be better but that’s just me being picky I think.

Clean mall. Lots of stores and vatieties and good hours despite covid. Many other malls are closing early i am glad this one is still staying open later.

We went to the movies and the seats are great, recliners with a warm button to give you heat in your back, also you can order your food and they bring it to your seat, so you dont need to go to the snack bar and miss any part of the movie

Lots to do here I especially like ollies fyi the research center and Starbucks either the one in Barnes and noble or by itself....lots to do here....

So happy its finally open very senior friendly elevator along with electric stairs and stairs for the young at heart love the bar so relaxing having a drink with my movie and popcorn!

Went to take my daughter to the Disney store and its closed down now longer there at the mall ): also the epic Montclair Nordstrom is closed down i literally got goosebumps when I passed by): the workers at Victoria secret describe a creepy vibe every since they close down because they said they no longer get the guest from Nordstrom they were next store to each other. So then I decided to go visit one of my favorite fashion stores only to find out they turned it into a covid testing site😷 they closed the little play ground but opened up a indoor playground that cost 15 dollars to get in!!! Mac, Sephora, jcpenny and Macys seem to be going strong as well as forever 21 and Barnes and noble they did open up an AMC theater that looks nice. And of course you can still get that good old mall pretzel. God bless America 🇺🇸 🙏
