It was nice. Had a small Air Force merchandise area. Would like to see more options given, especially for being headquarters for OTS and ROTC.

AAFFES is not the same. The prices are outrageous and the items need to be updated. You can never find an employee in specific sections. People are not coming in to shop like they use to. But I have been in other exchanges and this one is the worst. They use to have clearance sales. This base does not cater to many people.

Staff are not friendly always out of stock on some things, no big men clothing ever.

Great prices and good selection. Didnt find everything we wanted so couldnt give 5 stars. The store is very empty as far as customers go. The COVID restrictions are killing business and our nation.

Its your average BX/PX. The place is in much need of a fresh coat of paint. AAFES sure loves their prices. Surrounding stores, like Wal-Mart, will have cleared out items and AAFES holds firm.

They arent as good as they use to be. Prices arent competitive in my opinion. You can get the same product cheaper off base and have a better selection.

The service was outstanding. The woman who helped me also helped when I purchased. She was personable, kind and efficient each time. She and the man who helped put the refrigerator on the truck worked well together and gave me sound advice regarding how to get it home safely.

I am becoming increasingly disappointed in the items now carried by the BX. There has been a major change in stock over the past ten years.

Im Air Force retired and enjoy shopping in the exchange anytime my wife and I are on the base. The store is always neat and clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The inventory could be a little better and so could the pricing. Thus the reason I marked them down one star. With that said, however, I recently purchased a portable speaker on sale for about half of what other stores were wanting. I can shop the exchange online too which is nice.UPDATE: I ordered my wife a new IPad at the Exchange Online. Got a great deal on it with free shipping and no tax.

They always have good deals

It was smaller than other bases that I have been to, but it had the same feel. I found the perfume and school supplies I was looking for. At checkout I had asked for a roll of quarters and the cashier was able to spare it.

Just the place to shop for a veteran. Staff always helpful.

I changed my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars. They have added designer clothing leaving little room for less expensive brands. Before their sales truly were sales...a $20.00 blouse for $9.99, but the last time I was there (March 2019) there were blouses on sale for $45.00, 29.99 and so on. Its not just the clothing, they have raised prices on everything.

Its not bad. The workers are nice. However, I went to the Exchange to pick up an item that I order online for same day pick up. They weekend staff seemed confused and didnt know how to retrieve the item. I had to go find the item on the shelf and pay for it in the store even though I had already paid online. I was able to get a refund when I returned later in the week.

Always a pleasant shopping experience for me, they just need more service personnel on the floor to assist the customers more but otherwise i love shopping there.

Great deal for Military

It is a standard base exchange. Nothing remarkable about it and it serves its purpose to provide low cost goods to the military. The lines are long at lunch as is the line at the barber shop most of the time. No frills discount type place.

The housewares selection is not great but they cover all the basics. They have some good quality items but mostly just the bare essentials. Prices are reasonable and the store is clean if not that well organized. I love the clothing section, but same story. Some of it is very crowded. It could be better, but if youre shopping for just an item or two, is more than adequate.

Store was clean. Great items. Floor staff was very friendly. The checkout clerk was just not happy.

Prices are still to high for most items you can beat the prices on the economy. I know you carry top of the line on some products however you could have more economical goods also. You do send money to MWR but there are a lot of us who already gave many years of service who are spending lots of dollars at the exchange. Thank you.

A bit cluttered and selection not as good as many other exchanges I have visited but the shopping experience could be improved with more customer-focused staff. I felt not truly valued as a customer. Employees seemed indifferent and not engaged.

Consistently disinterested personnel in Customer Service. Certainly not trying too hard to assist customers. Returned appliance that had been previously used!! Gross. Typical BX quality & lack of service.

Exelent place to shop

Maxwell is very nice. Has improved since I was last there. The eating area had changed and not impressed with service. Nice food stations but not the best with answering questions about the food. The inside was also huge but lacked signs hanging high or some way to list where items are like how a professional store. Most military stores have done that but not Maxwell. Wasted much time to find what I was looking for.

I am a retired SGM (26 years Army). I have never believed the PX or BX were cost effective benefits. Lower prices for same name brand merchandise can almost always be found off base. There are some advantages. Location for young soldiers/Airmen without transportation, check cashing service and that is about it. Now the Commissary is a GREAT benefit. One can almost always save money on quality products when compared with stores off base.

Incredible deals on TV and Sonos. People often forget to check with the Exchange and their online site before making purchases and miss out on one great benefits afforded to Vets. Using my Star card, I got the TV I wanted at a better price, and Tax free. I saved $480 on the TV after an already lower price than other stores, coupon for using Star, no tax, and a $20 reward. Saved $382 on a Sonos setup and didnt have to deal with gimmicks such as a free wall mount or gift cards. Yup, I appreciate my exchange privileges and dont mind singing their praises. Oh, and they took it all out to my vehicle and loaded it up for me.

Customer service is and always is on their game. Cashiers are very friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell. Happy customer!

Theres always a great sale going on, not as big as most BX but still a nice size. Has a great children clothing and toy department.

Returned a new toaster purchased yesterday. When we opened the box after we got home we realized that the toaster was a return or display model - some packaging missing and no instruction pamphlet.Are the customer service folks intentionally trained to be inconsiderate and act as though their customers are putting them out? The people would be fired if they worked at any decent off base store.

Never has the things I need. Thank goodness there’s a family dollar right outside the gate. Stop putting expensive clothes in there we don’t get paid like on a Gucci budget

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I am retired Army so, I love the family atmosphere and the wide selection of quality goods at reasonable prices.

BX is pretty reliable & most of the time cheaper than going off base. Items I like purchasing from here ate Yankee Candles & cosmetics. This BX also carries a limited selection of Polo, Nike, Lucky Brand, Coach, Michael Kors, Bath & Body Works & name brand cosmetics & perfumes cheaper than what you can find in town.

Great store, awesome prices. But! If you ever have to return something, better planned to spend an hour waiting even if there is just one person in front of you.

Nice selection of restaurants, usually had quick service over the two weeks I worked there. However, Charleys Cheesesteaks ran out of steak, lol. Bathrooms were pretty gross as well, out of soap for almost a week.

Pretty standard BX. If you are looking for an 2GB SD-card at 2012 prices, this is your place. Of course, theres always Amazon if you want to save about 90% of what they are charging for it. The only good thing about the BX is that they dont have tax and they price match. So, if you can find something they have in stock that a local store has, you can save 10%. Of course, most of the items they have in stock went out of stock in local stores like WalMart, BestBuy, etc., months ago, so theres often nowhere still selling the items to price match. Occasionally you can find items on the back aisle on clearance where theyve ordered enough for every man woman and child on base to have one (in other words, way too much) and are now selling them for 50% off. Beware though - they have no problem selling items that are expired at a discount, so check labels.

Only one register open with a line. Cashier and assistant seemed to be preoccupied with something other than the job at hand. First time I have experienced this at Maxwell.

I love the cleanliness of the Exchange. I usually end up buying more than is on my list.

Toy section is very small. Decent selection of firearms. Must have government ID.

I have been all over the world and I have been in several different exchanges but maxwell does not have a variety like all the others. The AC was out when I went last Saturday but the customer service is always good!!
