The staff answered all my questions very well and helped me to get exactly what fit me. They didnt try to up-sell me. As a newcomer to the guitar with some knowledge, they helped me to iron out any mysteries I had about the instrument. This makes a big difference with my start with the guitar. Thank you so much!

Any supplies you need in the music field, Guitar Center is the place to go. They have all of your needs, if they dont have it, they will be glad to order it for you. Excellent customer service. My son loves this place.

If I could leave less than 1 star, I would at this point. I have purchased MULTIPLE instruments and spent thousands in this store along with most of my family has as well. Just in the past few months, I purchased an electric drum kit, a bass with amp and cab, along with random odd things. I was in the market for another acoustic guitar (purchased the one I already have from there). Found a Tommy Emmanuel Maton Signature Series that was brought to my attention by Rob, one of the managers who has helped me out a lot. Rob has been away from work for about 2 weeks but he’s still my go to guy. So I text him and told him I wanted that guitar and that I would be up there to purchase this guitar. He then advised the store manager, Kurt, that I would be up there and to hold the guitar for me. I was told yesterday 1/27/21 that my guitar had been sold because Kurt didn’t pull it like he was supposed to 10 days ago from today. So I go into the store yesterday to purchase an in ear monitor set up and speak with Kurt about my guitar and what we could do to fix the issue. I advised him how upset I was at the situation but was never disrespectful. Kurt said it was his fault and apologized. However, I asked what we could do to fix this issue so that I wouldn’t take my business elsewhere. He advised me he was going to help me out with a new guitar if I found one I wanted, my in ear monitor set up and a new drum kit that I would be purchasing in the very near future as I play drums for multiple bands. Well, I didn’t get a chance to look into the in ear monitors while I was there yesterday. So I called Kurt today to ask about the in ears and if they had any in stock, which they didn’t. So I told him I’d call Birmingham to see if they had any in stock because I need them by Friday. He said if they did he could have them overnighted at MY expense. I called Birmingham and they did have them in stock. I called Kurt back to let him know and ask what kind of deal he could make me, based on our conversation from last night. He said “I can probably do 10%” which wouldn’t actually be 10% seeing as I was going to have to pay myself to have them overnighted. I’m EXTREMELY disappointed in this store and the Kurt. Doesn’t seem to be good customer service at all. I will not be shopping at this store anymore unless Kurt is no longer at that store. but instead May check out Birmingham. They seem to want to help me with my purchases.

Watched employees harassment of another customer, they got so close to the customer I count tell if they touched the customer. The rage of the employee showed that he was to close his dirty mask was saying it and sprayed it on to the customer.

Ok, I am not happy with this news, because it is not the first time that you owners of guitar center do this to me. happened to a lespaul guitar too. Im very sad because I really wanted this bass but unfortunately it will be possible, right? I think it is very wrong for you to make the product available on the site, because I have the money to pay and you do not have the responsibility to remove a fake product from the site. Im curious to know what you have similar to offer me, if you dont have it you can cancel it, because the first purchase option I chose the guitar center for this purchase, so I will have the second option of the AEBS store from e bay, by the way they are more honest with their customers. thanks for the disposition.

Was greeted warmly as I entered the store and the assistance I received from Eli was stellar! I brought in a guitar to have the strings replaced. After three days I still hadn’t heard anything so I called them. The technician gave me a spill about all the things he did and checked and told me it was ready. When I got home the guitar still had the same broken string that I brought it in with and had clearly never even been taken out of the case.

Parts to violin came in after four months and three trips and two phone calls to the store. The repair man was sick so we still have to go back after he installs the parts. We live an hour away. Still like guitar center.

Save your time and order online. I like to buy in person but every time I go in the employees are sitting around and never help the customers. When asked for help finding the item I need I was told they didn’t think they had it. No one looked or even offered to look. Save yourself and shop online or go to another music store.

My daughter loves music so she really enjoys trip to GC. Its funny how much of the gear I had in the 70s and 80s is now vintage and when I was a teenager, we all thought the coolest gear was from the 50s and 60s. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Hating this place may be strong, but when you stand in front of a particular guitar and look around like you want help, you should be acknowledged. A simple I am with a customer but Ill be with you as soon as I can would have sufficed. I walked in and was flat out ignored as if I were invisible. Was it the grey hair or the Military uniform? Certainly I cant be interested in guitars. All sarcasm aside, this highlights why I typically shop online after doing my research. In this particular case, they had a similar guitar to what I was looking for. I was inclined to make a purchase actually. Oh well. They may have had the specific guitar I was looking for, but nobody bothered to even look at me so I could get their attention. The whole experience has me wondering how pretentious the staff would have been if I had gotten help. Wont be going back to this place...

I went in for a dj mixer and monitor speakers. After being there for 20 minutes and not being greeted, I decided to just ask but walking to the counter, I noticed other people were promptly greeted. I was greeted going out the door and even though i was dissapointed i wasnt rude. I hate to give them a bad review, I bought my dean guitar there 3 years ago and it was a good experience. But guitar center has been a solid business and every one Ive been to, I bought something but this time Im probably going to have to do amazon.

Not like it use to be. Have employees vaping in the store and complaining about their job, what they are and arent going to do. (Unprofessional millennial trash) Floors need to be vacuumed and restrooms really need some love and attention (light switches and all). Simple housekeeping. For a big name musical retail store it looked as though it was a garage sale with somewhat thought out pricing on most items. I saw a guitar on the wall, for sale at normal price, missing a pick up. There was a pearl double bass pedal that has been extremely used and abused and missing pieces, that had a clearance tag behind it (399.99 retail, 399.99 clearance) so you save nothing. Zero dollars saved. Products are heavily used and dirty. Hangars and hooks where merchandise is supposed to be are missing. I used to really enjoy going to GC for the music, equipment, knowledge and atmosphere. Now, its just disappointing, embarrassing and sad.

So we hit this GC up on our way home from Atlanta. My 18 year old guitar playing son had been wanting to go to one, since we dont have a GC where we live. The staff there was so great to him, and to my daughter, who was in keyboard heaven. We will definitely go again.
