After spending years buying a new mower ever two or three summers we finally broke down and purchased a Honda from CTE. Although more expensive than one you might get at Sams club, it has lasted 3 times longer than any mower we have ever owned. I like that we are able to get is serviced yearly at CTE as well, and their prices are reasonable. We will be buying our next mower there also.

Took a zero turn back for repairs because it was under warranty. It has been over a month and still no mower. Now we have to wait an additional two weeks for a part to come in. Then we have to run them down for a update. Bad business.

Didnt dislike this place just couldnt answer my question about matching up carburetor 2cylcle motor kits. But Lewis lawn Care on northern boulevard had all the right answers.

The guys here are the best in town with the lowest prices. You just dont get that combination anymore. Mike helped me out with the best product for my job as well as the most competitive price in town. (I checked four other places) David was extremely knowledgeable when fixing my equipment. He gave me advice on where to go and what I needed for all my future and current maintenance. I will absolutely come back here for rentals, purchases or services on any small engine equipment. They also support the troops.

David(DJ) recommended CTE and my Scag Tiger 2 mower. All I can say is wow. Great experience buying it, getting delivery, and service with first oil change. I would use David and the rest of the crew without reservation.Scag mowers are unbelievably good!

Took our chainsaw for repair. The pull cord had come out. When picking it up the first time after repair when we tried to crank it there at the store the cord came out again. We were told a part was broken and needed to be ordered. After several days part had still not come in, so we rented a chainsaw from them. When the part came in and again went to pick up the chainsaw upon returning home tried the chainsaw again. After about 3 pulls the cord once again came out . Took the chainsaw back once again and was told we were the problem. Totally unprofessional.

I bought a new Scag Tiger Cat 2 from CTE about a week ago. I have to say this was an excellent experience Michael was very helpful worked very hard to help me through out the entire time. I was looking and comparing the John Deere to the Scag not once he Michael put down the John Deere he showed me the man6 advantages the Scag had over the John Deere. I also very much appreciated the honesty and integrity he displayed which also is a big reason I chose the Scag, I was lied to by a salesman at John Deere at one dealership and another dealership I was told that he could sell me the mower for the price but he wouldn’t make much so he didn’t want to sell it, those 2 experiences alone helped me decide that my after the sale experience probably would be as sorry also. Michael helped me select a Scag which is a very high end and high quality machine there was no pressure just friendly service and a willingness to answer all my questions. I highly recommend purchasing from CTE and Michael. Great job you’ve earned a customer for life!

Ive done business with the crew at CTE for many years and have never been disappointed. The attention to detail and service is paramount with them. I recently purchased a Land Master ATV from CTE. What a tank !. Perfect for hunting, farm work, etc....and it will go anywhere!At half the price of many ATVs its a deal. It comes with a choice of name brand engines, hybrids or all electric. I chose a Honda and am very pleased. CTE means quality!!!

Came in looking for a chainsaw. Talked to justin. He was very knowledgeable and assisted me in finding exactly what I needed. Very disappointed in their service department. I took a broken push mower, which ended up being beyond repair, but the counter man couldnt tell me what was done (or not done) to it because the mechanics notes were vague and indecipherable. It cost me $50 and a three-week wait to get nothing, not even a solid explanation. Moreover, despite a citywide mask ordinance, no one was wearing a mask.

Top notch customer service. These guys know the law care business. We have been doing business with them for YEARS and have always been pleased. They are always very friendly and very informative.

We stopped by the store just after closing time on a Saturday looking for a push mover. The store employee saw us an re-opened the store for us. He was very helpful by explaining the different models of mowers. He also explained the warranty and additional warranties that we could purchase. There was no high pressure and he took his time answering all our questions even though the store was officially closed. We purchased a Honda mover and he even serviced it for us right then so we would not have to wait until Monday to pick it up. We are very happy with our purchase and the service that we received.

Did a good job but not had the part I wanted

Our church mower had a part break on the seat. Took it in and Justin ordered the part. Unfortunately the part was back ordered and they didnt know when the part was coming in. Tom made the decision to pull the part off of another mower and repair ours since we hadnt been able to cut the grass for 2 weeks. Went above and beyond and we appreciate it.

Picked up on Friday, repaired and returned Tuesday. Repaired as requested and mechanically, it had a nice tight feel to it. Definitely inspired confidence in the repair. Also, I am embarrassed to say, the mower had a lot of grass clipping on the blade deck. It came back cleaned (they didnt have to do that, but it was really appreciated).For those of us who do not have P/U trucks with trailers, their delivery service is a life saver.Great friendly people, throughout the transaction.

STOP! DO NOT USE CTE!!! If I could rate ZERO stars, I would!They tried to rip me off saying that my mower needed a lot more parts and labor than it actually needed! I left and brought my mower over to Lewis Lawn Equipment on 231 and they did exactly what was needed for less than 1/2 the cost that fraudulent CTE was trying to get from me!!!

I have never had a business try so hard NOT to help me! I came in to have a lawn mower repaired. The guy at the counter gave me all sorts of reasons why I should not have my lawn mower repaired...and didnt even try to sell me a new one, just didnt want to do the work. I would never do business with them....not that they would want to anyway. CRAZY!

If you need a $800 push-mower then this is the place for you! Ill never spend a dime in this shop, even though I loved my CTE in Auburn & have done business there for ten years. Shameful.Even though good help is hard to find: I would pay the extra $1/hr for somebody who will treat customers with respect. I came in this store to PAY for a service & ended up ordering my parts online and doing it myself.This bad experience would be forgivable if they were busy and booming, but this was not the case. Their staff were just lazy & rude & condescending.

Everyone from top to bottom at CTE are friendly and professional. I had a warranty dispute with Briggs and Stratton about a problem with a new engine. They told me to take it to and authorized B&S svc ctr. CTE inspected the engine and reported their findings to B&S. They explained my situation but warranty was denied by B&S. I persisted for over a month and finally gave up in frustration. I went to pick up my ruined machine and pay for the labor etc. There was a little confusion as to how to handle the bill and a gentleman named, Bruce wanted to know what the story was with my mower. Its a long one but he listened and agreed that something was wrong. He said leave it here, send him an email with the whole story and hed make a few calls. A week later he called and said B&S had reconsidered and was giving full compensation. I couldnt believe it, as I am a rare customer. I brought the mower home yesterday and saw a sign as I was leaving. Bruce Holder was his name and he was the owner. Now that is customer service from top to bottom! I cannot give these folks any possible higher grade or praise. So I bought them all donuts! They have a customer for life with me. I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks all.

Scam artist you are.
