The last couple weeks I’ve been in the store often and the customer service has been awesome! The employees have been knowledgeable and kind!

I can’t thank Mike enough for his personalized advice and help to me as I debated whether to buy an electric or gas weed wacker. He patiently showed me all models and I was able to make my choice intelligently!! He is absolutely the BEST!!He also advised me on the extended warranty program with the excellent check out clerk (Draven) and I ended up signing for it because it was a good deal for me.I also have to say Adam the Mgr is excellent in being client oriented. He helped me with a big order of a water tank for our Community Garden and helped me find all the parts!!This Tractor Supply location is great because of Adam and Mike and all these hard working staff!!Thanks for listening to a genuinely HAPPY client!!

I went to tractor supply the other day. I was very pleased with the customer service I got! They where incredibly amazing people and all had a smile on there face!! I bought a 6 inch drop hitch for my truck and let me tell you its insanley good material and I know it will last me forever!!

I brought a 20 pound propane tank there to be filled got home and when I turn handle nothing act like its stripped so I brought it and an empty tank back they filled my empty and didnt charge me for it I was thankful till I was talking to other and I not the only one a few others have brought brand new tanks there and had same problem. These tanks are not cheap. I will still shop there for certain things but I will not ever bring a tank to be filled again

Always a decent store and fun to look around. Plus they have great pricing on the bedding and food we use.Also good close outs, little propane heater was super marked down and has been pretty decent!

Consistently rude and terrible customer service. The staff is very unhelpful. If you call this store, the employees will hang up on you if they don’t want to answer your question, even when it involves a product purchased from their store. Take your money elsewhere.

Called and asked if i could order and prepay f ok r wood pellets, Kim said no, you have to come into the store for that. Actually Kim after I hung up guess what I did? I went online and ordered them and prepaid for them. The email I got 15 mins later said they were ready for pick up. The same staff issues every time I HAVE to go to this store. Maybe its a contest who can be the most unhelpful and rude as possible - Tractor Supply wins!

Very unimpressed, purchased feed in bulk online with curbside pick up at this Montpelier location. Not only does this store have at least 4 feeds out of stock in the poultry and livestock department, part of my order could not be completely fulfilled due to limited stock. I was not notified, and when I tried to make up for the missing product I was told I had to order that online and it would be about an hour before that could be processed. I would not have even known I was missing any if I had not double checked the total I had payed for. If I didnt NEED what I had ordered I would not have ordered it to begin with. Upon sorting out this situation the employee I spoke to, I believe his name was Robert, was very cold, short with responses, and less than accommodating. I am very frustrated and left dreading having to even communicate with any of the employees at this location. I suppose I will no longer utilize this particular branch and start using the Morrisville location. Perhaps I will have better luck with products being stocked properly and customer service.

Great place for basic pet + lawn/garden supplies. Customer service can be gruff and sometimes rude. I went in to buy a riding lawnmower, got basically no info about whats available or how it could be delivered. Their lawnmower guy was rude, dismissive, and had basically no info to share. He sent me outside to look around for a minute, and never showed up to show me anything. Arent you in sales? Sell me this thing! I want to spend thousands of dollars at your store! I guess Im headed to a big box store. Nice place for basics, but head elsewhere if you need help.

I was really disappointed today with the number of people allowed in the store given the current guidelines of the state of Vermont. In addition employees were not respecting 6 foot distancing. And not wearing masks. I left. Why are there no limits to how many people can be in the store at one time? I am a loyal customer and will continue to be when I see that the guidelines are being observed.

Gotta love the local Tractor Supply for Barre, Berlin, and Montpelier!I gave a perfect 5 stars, but theres usually one or two employees that work here that need to be taught customer service. To be clear, MOST of the people who work here are great at it, but there has been a history of this place having a random straggler or two who will simply not do their job.One unnamed individual who fortunately doesnt work here anymore would tell you, if you mentioned theres actually a sale on a product, Well, Im not going to walk over there or call anyone to have them price check this. Im not doing it. If she was still working there, Id only give this store 4 stars.Beyond that, this place is really nice to have nearby.

The people there were super friendly and helpful. Especially Rio. She was a total sweetheart. She tried her best to find a pair of the boots for me that were half price. It didnt happen but she was just so helpful and kind that I couldnt really be any where near as disappointed as I would have been had she not been there.

Horrible experience! Me and my Husband went in for a pair of boots, when we realized they were out of the ones he wanted we started looking around, the whole time we were looking we were followed by staff and watched. Making us feel so uncomfortable. Every time we left a section somebody came right after and was looking at everything we looked at. Definitely wont go there again.

They always have what I need and that is normally dog food. However, I do shop there often when I need a part for something or if I need something for my dogs or for the yard or garden, etc..Friendly staff and they always seem willing to help out if you have a question. If they dont have something youre looking for, they wont waste your time trying to sell you something that might be close.

I used to a be a very regular customer, everytime i go they are out of stock of one thing or another and lately walking down the aisles this is not an isolated issue. Completed customer survey and requested a callback got nothing. Staff is hit or miss on knowledge. Generally products are of good quality when they are in stock

Well staffed location, 5 registers were open! I bought a 40 lb bag of black oil sunflower seed on sale. This store is large, and well stocked.

Great place to get what you need for your animals. Im always able to get in and out in less then 10 minutes. Very friendly staff

I was a customer today at the montpelier location and bought a few items and went I got home realized I didn’t have my one bag with puppy toy in it :( I called the store and spoke with Jill- store manager, who offered to enter me into the Neighbors Club so in case I needed to return an item I easily could!!! Jill was the nicest customer service person I probably EVER spoke with!! Staff at this location are friendly and Dogs are allowed inside!!!

Went to buy wood pellets and they did not have any out front so I asked about get some brought up front,it took them 30 minutes to get one in the door and then they couldnt load it in the store because of the pallet. Still really cheap pellets. Still a great store.

One of the better places to get all my supplies for the farm. Be it hydrolic hoses, or horse grain, to odd bolts and nuts and washers, or a new zero turn lawn mower. If they dont have what I need in stock, I can always pick it up 24 hours later.

I buy my pellets from this store and every time I go here the customer service is less than ideal. Employees dont offer assistance and when theyre asked to help load the pellets theyre reluctant to do so at best (seriously, I had to barter with one employee telling him that if he got them on the cart for me i would load them in my car myself). The last time i went i was straight up told that employees dont assist customers with loading. When Im shopping my 5 year old is also in tow so loading 20 bags of pellets (that are like 50lbs each) is harder than youd think! What made my last trip even worse is that so far 3 of the 20 bags i purchased (Ive only used 6 bags so far) got moisture in them so half the bags had to be disposed of and I told one of the employees that the bags were damaged as i was loading them by myself while he stood there and he just looked at me like I was talking another freaking language!

Always like getting my animals shots at Tractor Supply, definitely makes it much easier for me in the long run and saves me money to!!

My go-to place to pick up vaccines, and other pet supplies. I have a pet on tube feeding, and I pick up syringes and dressing supplies there at a cost much less than the vet. Staff is always pleasant, and willing to help with heavier items, such as horse bedding.

The amount of supplies and the different products. It is just an amazing experience.

Always willing to help me out either with lift huge bags of dog food, or standing out in the rain strapping a new grill in the back of my truck.. Their kind,considerate,and extremely helpful.

Good prices. Might have to hike around a bit to find some help inside but when you do the staff is courteous and helpful.

Reasonable prices and good hardware. Ive never been disappointed here.

Good place to get work gloves and work boots.Also replaces having to go out of my way to go to hardware store.

I go to TSC about once every three weeks. I was returning a headlamp because it did not fit comfortably. I did not have a recipient so the clercj had to call the manager to see if they were using the no receipt no return policy. So I lucked out with that, then they wanted to see my drivers license. I should not need to supply an item that I did not use to make a purchase, so I said I did not have it. The clerk then called the manager to answer that question, still no return possible. So I asked to speak with the manager, and then he showed me a fine print flyer on the cash register saying such. As I walk out the manager whispers that its just an eight digit number, and to just make it up. After I spend my refund, I will be less likely to return.

They have a really large selection of products but they lack in the personal appeal of smaller business knowledge.

Good visit. Picked up food for my feathered friends and had a voucher for $ 15.00 off. Can t beat that!

The manager is the best part of this store......as for products....not bad .ok selection....lots of china made...little over priced...but that is just how it is .....for most chain stores....

This tractor supply had apparently had a change in management and the store is suffering because of it. Lots of out of stocks and staff shortages during busy times. Also lots of staff turnover, or so it appears since I dont seem to see the same people twice.
