Rolling down the highway I suddenly feel the truck start to shake. I quickly slow down and the next available turn led me to Diamond G. I was pulling a 33 travel trailer with my wife and 3 kids in the truck. I walk into the office and asked if they could take a look. Dennis quickly came out, diagnosed the issue with my wheel, stopped everything he was doing, fixed the truck and within a few hours we were on our way. I cannot say enough about the courtesy, attention and care they took helping my family. They saved our vacation. It was divine intervention that led us there. Always the best service here. Took my diesel in for some issues, they went above a d beyond diagnosis the correct issue and getting it fixed in a timely manner. Very professional and honest! The only shop I would recommend in the western slope. They have reasonable fees as well, worth every penny.

Highly recommend Diamond G! We were traveling through with our trailer when we suddenly had a huge issue with our truck. After several calls, all shops were booked & no time to do a repair. Diamond G was the only place that offered to at least look at out truck to diagnose the problem. They found a worn out U joint & were able to fit us in to fix it. Thank goodness as we would have for sure gotten stranded on a mountain pass! They even gave my husband a ride back to the RV park & text us a few days later to be sure everything was good. Everyone there was super nice! Cant thank them enough! Dont hesitate to call them!

I have been using Diamond G Repair every since I moved here in 2001. I drive older vehicles that need some TLC. DGR is simply the best, great service, timely repairs and no BS. I totally recommend them.

Huge Thank You to Diamond G!We were visiting Montrose from Gunnison for the day.. in tandem with our daughter and grandkids ..... just before returning to Gunnison I happened to notice 3 lug nuts missing on the front passenger side wheel.Upon closer inspection saw that all three lugs were sheared at the hub.Time was just ten minutes before closing at Diamond G.......they didnt hesitate and told us to get right over and they would take care of it.Ended up they had to make a special run for parts as the delivery drivers were all done at the parts stores.They went beyond the call of duty for sure.... and saved us from having to make an extra round trip to recover the car if we hadnt been able to get it fixed the same day. Very much appreciated. Checked all the other wheels too to make sure all was good. Made a great end to what could have been a bad day.

Truly excellent and extremely professional. This was my first visit and I was highly impressed with Diamond G. Sherry is a sweet and kind lady who communicated with me efficiently. She is wonderful. Dennis drove me into downtown Montrose and picked me up with a positive can do attitude. He was nice and friendly. Sure they did great work...but they did in with a happy spirit. Our car broke down right as we got into Montrose during a road trip across the state, and their service and extra effort could not have been better! They got us in the next morning and spend half a day working on our car, not to mention helped us find a place to stay. Front desk ladies were very accommodating and super nice! Thanks so much for everything, we would have been stranded otherwise!

So thankful for Diamond G they were a life saver. Our car broke down in Colorado while we were there on Vacation from Texas. They worked extremely hard to get the car done as quick as possible while having my familys safety in mind the entire time. They are great people to deal with as they could have screwed us over on the price since we had to have the car and it was undrivable, the prices they charged us were very fair and the quality of work was great. They were even extremely friendly and nice even though I was probably being annoying with all my calls checking on it. Although I hope to never need to do business with them again I would not hesitate to take my car there if the need arises. My car broke down right outside their shop. While I was at work they discovered a transmission issue, worked with the dealer to confirm that it was under warranty, got it driveable for the short-term, advised me where to go, and didn’t charge a cent! Honest, no-frills, shop that’s concerned about their customers.

They sorted out a problem that had the Subaru dealership baffled. Friendly and convenient. Fair pricing.

Needed Ford 8N tractor worked on. Tractor wouldnt start. Starter was bad. When I got the tractor back, he had replaced the alternator, rewired it and said that he damaged the radiator taking the alternator off. Charged over $800. None of that needed repair. The battery needed charging. Still had to replace the starter, myself. Should have taken him to court. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Recommend this auto shop. Someone broke my front glass and I went to this center, they repaired my window and also fixed several other things that werent fine with my car. They were very helpful and I`ll use their services regularly from now on.

You guys keep me rolling, safely. I never had better service from any other place. Everyone from the staff is very helpful and they always explain to me what the problems consist of so I can be informed.

Recently I was driving down from Sheridan, Wy to Ridgway. My truck decided to break down right outside of Montrose (which by then I was convinced my tranny quit on me). I was able to get it into Montrose, where I was then referred to Diamond G by a trusted friend. I could not have found a better mechanic. The owner quickly took care of getting my truck towed in and diagnosed.. He was extremely efficient, honest, and personable. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful; they were very knowledgeable and sweet as can be. I could not recommend this place more.
