I have shopped at many Vitamin cottages across Colorado and the newer stores in Kansas on my many road trips. (I can’t wait till they have even more locations!) They have a great inventory here and every employee has been kind and helpful. Somethings do get sold out pretty quickly but any employee will be more than happy to assist you with the next delivery date. I’m so glad this is my local store!

Oh Natural Grocers! I want to love you, but the parking lot is always packed and I always have to ask someone where to find stuff. You are always busy! Maybe you need another location in Montrose???

Im new to this one and things are arraigned a little different and stocked with different items. So for those of you who like to do research before hand go on a scouting mission. Great store.

We have shopped at natural grocers throughout the state and have never experienced the customer service like we have at this store. Upon checking out, another employee walked up to our cashier half way through our transaction and they start talking about breaks, and who is taking lunch break when, and then our cashier gets confused and is having a hard time multitasking, then our cashier decides to then purchase her own personal drink from the other employee whom had walked up midway through our transaction, we feel as this is extremely unprofessional and the lady could clearly not multitask so just wait till we’re done to order your own drink, please.We then had to go back into the store For water and then the teller could not figure out the price of the water and had to bring up three different cashiers to find the price of the water.I’m not one to usually ever leave reviews, but this was just a very frustrating experience

I have never been in Natural Grocers before. Healthy, organic food is not really my thing. However, it was very cool! They had so much cool stuff. I will be back!

I searched out the Natural Grocer in Montrose looking for an obscure essential oil. I was pleasantly surprised that not only did they have the EO but this store was larger than other Natural Grocers I had visited. I also tried a few new foods and they were yummy. I’ll definitely be back.

Lack of service just made the high prices worse.

Natural grocers is the only natural food store for a 100 miles and the Grand Valley. I love the store. Willing to make the 120 mile round trip to shop.

Huge, varied inventory, all healthy options, great customer service, great atmosphere.

They do have really good apples here, year round at this location. And many products you just cant find at the other stores, like dehydrated coconut water with algae and coffee powder premixed for my morning power slurpees.

My favorite place to pick up my nutritional supplements.

This store is so much fun to wander around in. Its mostly all delicious. It can be expensive if you let items jump into your cart unchecked. Dont get everything there just the things you MUST eat. Too many items in there are the best so pick and choose wisely then get the hell out while you can still see the cart bottom.

Their phone customer service is terrible. I was transferred 3 times just to be told “I don’t know, that isn’t my department” then when she found out they did have what I was looking for I asked her how much it was and she said “I haven’t got a clue”.

I like going to natural grocers for the great selection of natural remedies and pharmaceuticals. Also the food selection is good. We buy our soaps and shampoos there too. You can find things here that you just cant find in other stores. Also a great selection of books.

GREAT prices, good selection, but can often be hit or miss on pruduce. City Farm Eggs are the best and local (hard shell, bright orange yolk, humanly raised). Only place that sells the best City Farm Eggs! New store has larger selection, looks and feels great. Their Natural Grocer Brand items are all Organic and rival often beat Simple Truth and 365. All very friendly service except one guy that doesn’t seem to like my kids.

Its the only place to get bulk herbs in Montrose and they do have very nice organics and supplements. The staff is very helpful however there does appear to be a bit of racism directed at white men coming from certain staff members. But there are products available here that you just cannot get anywhere near Montrose. I do like the bigger new store.

Love natural grocers. Slightly pricy, but worth it for high quality foods. All organic produce. Uncured (nitrate free) meats. Great assortment for people with various dietary restrictions. Also has amazing assortment of pre-bagged bulk goods as less than normal grocer costs. About one third of the store is dedicated to Heath and wellness items such as vitamins, minerals, essential oils, and natural beauty products.

THIS place...... Fantastic!!! I remember when I moved here, being ecstatic there was A Natural Grocers here. Theyve even upgraded to a bigger space. They have everything! Including my fav Nag Champa incense and every essential oil under the sun. The smell of herbs and spices permiate the store. Its devine. I look forward each time I get to visit this store. Glad theyre here.

Ive been to Natural Grocers all over Colo. The people here are not so friendly nor knowledgeable as other places. The one lady seemed annoyed I asked a question.The store itself is okay with a descent variety of natural foods. As per usual some prices are good, others are expensive.

Please, could you guys be a little more prepared when you have a big event week and there are hoards of people in the store but only 6 cashiers and a line stretching around the corner... and some people need just 1 thing, just 1 supplement that needs to be taken before lunch, and everyone else is there to get a cart full of produce and their single bar of free chocolate?

Customer service here is great. Theres always someone available to help you make an informed decision on product.

Cashiers need to learn proper customer service. Continuing to converse with a customer that has already been served for several minutes, while ignoring the next customer in line, is unacceptable. Best store for quality food in Montrose. Kombucha on tap. Every product a vegan might need. Always offering the latest selection of healthy produce, GF, lactose free and organic foods. Fantastic supplement section. Bodycare products without all the harsh chemicals. Sweet, friendly staff. If I worked there, Id be tempted to just eat all day.

I go here for small things from time to time but wont do my shopping. These people are so stuck up, miserable, and concieted its not a nice place to shop and I wouldnt recommend applying because its a waste of time.

We shop here regularly! Just hate the T.V. commercials. Which they would at least get professional actors.
