My granddaughter lives in Chincoteague, VA. She drives a 2016 Buick Encore which unfortunately ran low on coolant and overheated to the extent the engine was ruined.Her local auto repair shop was not able to find a replacement engine from their usual source.I live in Purcell, OK; my local mechanic recommended contacting G&R Auto Parts as a potential engine source. I called G&R, spoke with Shane who quickly located a low-mileage engine and quoted a reasonable price.I purchased the engine and Shane arranged shipment of the engine to Virginia.The Chincoteague auto repair shop was very complimentary about the condition of the engine; they quickly installed it, and the Encore runs like new.G&R (and Shane) were efficient and reliable in sourcing and delivering this engine; I was very pleased with their service.

This place closes at 5; however, they lock the doors well before that. We flew across town today to pick up a part for our car before they closed. We arrived 17 minutes before they close and the glass doors were already locked. The man and woman inside just stared at my husband through the glass and wouldnt even bother getting up to help him. We will NOT return to or recommend this place in the future. Do better. 👎👎👎

This place is what all wrecking yards in Oklahoma should model themselves after. The moment you walk in, its very organized, clean and the staff are friendly. The yard is very well organized as well and everything looks like a well run operation. I have been to many wrecking yards and none are anything close to G&R. Unlike other reviews I give frank a zero, had him hold a part the night before and verify that it was what I was looking for. Called the next morning before the two hour drive to the shop and had him verify that it was on hold. Drove up there and the part I wanted wasn’t no where to be found and he didn’t help look for it!!! Piss poor service!!!!

Daughter hit a curb and ruined the wheel. I went down in person after I called and verified they had the wheel. They had the wheel pulled by the time i got there, but I threw in a last minute order for the hubcap as well. Turn out the hubcap was all the way at the back of the yard, in the car it came off of, on the top shelf of the stack of cars. They jumped on the fork lift and went through all that trouble for a cheap hub cap. Good folks, well organized and fair prices.

I bought a set of factory take off tires from them last week. The tires checked out and were in fact new, about ten miles on them. When I had them put on, the tire shop noticed an imperfection I overlooked when I bought them. I called Shane at G&R and told him what was wrong. He set me up with a matching replacement tire, no questions asked. Good old fashion customer service. Go see these guys they will save you some money. Ill be going back

Have dealt with them for many years. They have quality parts at reasonable prices and guarantee them. You either want cheap or quality.

I drove over 60 miles to go there and 30 minutes after paying for a transmission with my debit card and waiting for a delivery, the called me to let me know that the part had been sold to someone else but I have to drive 60 other miles to go back there if I want to get my money refunded. I hope Ill never cross their way again
