My check engine light was on and the car was stalling took it in for service and find out what is wrong. I paid 300 for service, they told me new mount and oil pressure sensor be around 600 and they will need car all day. I arranged for rental and dropped car off. They stated now 1300 hundreds because parts only come from dealership . I said okay be back in morning to get it. After I dropped rental back next morning. They called saying car not fixed, they need another day. I said no, I got work and kid to get to school. Im off tomorrow, I can bring it. Turns out they want to keep car another day because they dont know what wrong and Im already out of pocket 1600 hundreds. Dont go to them.

SCAMMERS!!! i brought them my truck for an overheating issue, after “diagnostic” these guys tried to make it seem like my truck needed a new head gasket repair due to a “minor pressure leak”($2300 repair cost) also a new radiator needed and thermostat, at this point several test and diagnostics had been done at different shops to the head gasket and all turned negative to issues with it, therefore i declined the repair and asked for the radiator to be replaced only($600 repair cost) issue is been resolved for the overheating no head gasket repair needed saved myself from being scammed out of $1700 dllrs always get a second opinion, shops and “mechanics” like these are not to be trusted, SCAMMERS!!

I took my 2014 Range Rover to this shop. And automatically before even opening the hood. He tries to sell me a new engine for $12,000. Then he “diagnosed” my truck and told me that the whole engine was done for. And that $12,000 was how much it cost. He charged me $450 for a diagnosis and he didn’t even have a clue what was wrong.I paid for the diagnosis, because he was holding my car hostage and trying to charge me “storage fees”. I took my car to Range Rover and they told it was a $900 fix! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

I think we can all say that we are leery about who we take our cars to to get worked on. Wonder about integrity of the individual, if we can trust them not to gouge us in price and make sure things are fixed right. I had the pleasure of having my 2006 Toyota Sequoia’s motor replaced here at Payless and have to say not only did they do an awesome job, the owner is very understanding and professional. I have and will again, recommend Payless to anyone needing their car repaired plus the price was definitely right. So I’m late leaving a review but I’m a woman of my word so better late than never right? So I brought my car here after spending $1600 at another shop that didn’t even make my car better. I went in for a oil change on my BMW 5 series. I do not normally trust anyone to work on my car but, I absolutely trust Nathan and his team at Payless Auto Repair in Moreno Valley. I was able to get in and out on my lunch break. They are priced FAIR and they are honest. I was recommended by a friend of mine at work and my friend and his whole family come to Nathan at Payless Auto Repair. I now can also personally recommend this shop for all your vehicle/automotive needs.

This auto place is atrocious. First off, they completely messed up our car after charging hundreds of dollars to not even fix what we took it in for. Then the owner Nathan was very rude to my husband and yelled at him - very unprofessional. He actually had the nerve to ask, What you expecting? Uh, expecting that you do the work we paid for and replace the parts that you guys broke when you had the car.Stay far away from Payless Auto, unless you want headaches and want to be treated with disrespect. And we definitely didnt pay less. We went to another shop and paid much lower price to fix what Payless couldnt fix but charged us anyway.

Charged me $2500 to put a motor in my car, I have not had my car back a week and it’s throwing codes and the owner told me there was nothing he could do because it not the motor! Smh! I have been to a few mechanics, but I was always with a man. This time I had to brave the mechanical world on my own. I watched SO many youtube videos on how to spot a bad mechanic. Needless to say, I had my list and was ready to start checking boxes. Unfortunately my brakes could not wait for me and took it to a mechanic. They charged me quite a bit and did not do a complete brake inspection ( found out later I need bearings) but hey, I was in need. I called around to price my remaining work and decided to come to Payless Auto. Not only did take me around my entire car showing me each the majority of work I needed complete but he gave me a rental!!! Haythan made the process smooth, was very informative and is passionate about his work!!!! Will definitely be back for the rest of my work!!!!!

I was referred to this shop by a co-worker and upon contacting, the owner Haythem was professional, honest and efficient since day one. Not only was I able to finance a 3000 dollar job, I was provided a rental car while waiting as well. I’ve never been to an auto mechanic where you could finance, obtain a rental car and have direct contact with the owner. Haythem (the owner) cares for his customers and he is very involved. The owner is friendly, and to the point. The business is clean, and spacious, and employees are nice. They have lots of machinery, and they will trouble shoot until the issue gets resolved. I brought in my 04 Dodge Ram w/ a big issue for me, but more headache for them. My truck stayed with them a few months, but the owner was determined to fix the issue and he did.

I came here because i was having idle issues with my car after my collision and I had 2 pages from the scan i had gotten from the collision center and i was crushed . They dont do repairs but he thought he was helping me out. I take my car to Payless and they take a look at it pull 1 plug and everything is back to normal. They gentleman tells me i need a cam sensor. I got the sensor replaced and the well overdue oil changed and the car has been running great. I would reccomend Payless Auto Repair if you need a honest mechanic. I will surely be returning for any future service needs.

This owner is a complete scam I use to bring my cars here since he was the owner of the other shop I am sure he had to close that one because of so many scams! I tow my car to his shop since he offert feee town but I found out is not true he just added to the bill and when he diagnostic the car he said it will be a amount and I ask ok what he will repair and he said dont worry about it one of his mechanic came to me in Spanish saying is something simple so he gimme the hit to not even trust this guy this guy is a scam dont trust him at all I keep asking if I can know what he will do and he star yelling at me and telling me just pay me what I ask you! If i could give less stars i would, these people give you super cheap prices, mess up other things in your car so you can come back to them & their cheap prices a month later, its a deadly cycle, do not come here, i regret ever coming here, not to mention Nathan hired me to work for him while he was on vacation, underpayed me, i was there for 9 hours a day only getting payed $60 a day promising me the rest when he comes back, that never happened. illegal scammers scammers scammers, ALL the way around, trust me it took me a year and more than $4000 in small repairs every few months to learn my lesson. pay the extra $100 somewhere else and actually get what you pay for

False advertisement!. they put $299for engine rebuild and when I called to see if it was the same price for my car the guy was very rude because I questioned his advertising. he wanted to charge me 2400. when I tried to get a breakdown of the amount he was charging he got upset and hung up. very unprofessional, glad Im taking by business elsewhere.

This is by far the worst service I have ever had with a mechanic. I went in due to a blown head gasket. Nathan recommended I do an engine swap so I went that route. After the first time I picked it up engine error codes came on. I took it back the same day and he pretty much just cleared the codes and said everything was fine. The next day I drove it to work and the same error codes came on and I returned once again. Once they finally decided to trouble shoot it they stated the turbo that came with the engine is faulty. Then they installed the original turbo and apparently that one was faulty as well. I dont know what diagnostic they did to state it was faulty but somehow it just was when there was no issue with it before. They also stated that since the turbo isnt apart of the engine that I will have to buy a new one. So I did. I ordered a brand new turbo for them to install. Once they installed it i received no call from them to let me know my car was complete. I called two days later to find out myself. Now my car is blowing white smoke out of the exhaust. When I went to take it back in they stated now the brand new turbo is bad. Then they said oh its the oil from the old turbo causing the smoke. Then they stated that with their professional opinion that I should just drive it two or three more days and see what happens. This is unacceptable from a mechanic. On top of that everytime I come in you have to wait 15 minutes for him to get off facetime before he finally speaks to you. This man is beyond rude and i will never take my car there again. They will be hearing from BAR in regards to this $2500 later and my car still isnt fixed accordingly.

A horrible experience before I worked with nacho the mechanic of there is the drought to this workshop and a lot of change lends itself a lot to the rat of his employer gave me a high price I hise the work and the car was worse I will never trust this person again I didnt know what could lend itself to this but little by little the bad thing that God sells it comes back!
