I loved the taste of Coca Cola, the macaroni and cheese, fries, and the house dressing. Front counter customer service was nice and friendly, the beberages were brought to our table. But, the grill patties from the Club sandwiches were cold, old and salty, that was very dissappinting. I do not think I will go back for a while, I used to love the quality of the food there.
We have been there many many times and have always had a great experience, their barbecue has always been delicious, the sauces are fantastic and the Service is always excellent. Today my wife had the sliders she really enjoys those, I always get the sampler platter which you can pick from different items on their menu. On my profile you can read that I like to be treated like the only one there and because of the restrictions BECAUSE OF COVID you are. Great food great service and the price is pretty good so if you like good barbecue definitely check these folks out.
If you want any resemblance of good bbque THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!! Ribs taste like they are baked, they’re dry and tough!!! I asked if they are smoked and I was told yes. No Smokey taste or flavor what so ever! Sides are skimpy! Again I repeat THIS IS NOT HOW SMOKED BBQUE should be!! Don’t waste your money or time! You’d be better off getting a rib sandwich at McDonald’s!!!!! If you can’t tell, we were very dissatisfied!

Coming from and growing up in BBQ states I was a little skeptical of BBQ in Moreno Valley CA. I ordered a smoked turkey sandwich on French roll.... there is no way that meat was smoked. It came out of a plastic wrap, looked like deli meat, had no smell or flavor of smoke either. Giving two stars just because it was a good portion and the BBQ sauces were good.
I loved coming here but recently it already happened 3 times already. I order food I would say Tritip sandwich combos..... COMBOS ....And they would charge me for a combo but when I get home its missing the fries or they would give me trouble about the drinks that come with the combos ...they would tell me you only ordered the sandwich and fries like really...
I’ve come here for years since they first opened. This place used to the best and we’d eat here all the time. Now I’m not sure what has gone wrong. Customer service is horrible they never answer the phone to place orders ahead fries are always under cooked. Truly disappointed and hoping they get things get better!
Good place to eat lunch or dinner. The food taste amazing and the flavors are great. The customer service is very good and helpful. So now Im eating something once a week from there and I havent found anything I didnt like. 👍👍🐷
Ill make this nice and simple... am a guy that loves mushrooms when I got there mushroom hog burger for the first time i was so amazed. .. it was no ordinary burger am talking about it had flavor it was juicy it tasted so good.. thank you guys for not destroying a perfectly good burger... am for sure coming back again 👍🤙🍄🍔

It was some of the best bbq ribs i have had. The slaw was odd it taste like onion fried were perfect. Otherwise ribs and chicken were awesome.
First time here. Fast service, friendly staff, nice clean restaurant. Delicious food! We tried the Philly Cheese Tri-tip sandwich, a side of corn, the jumbo hotdog, and the Chili Cheese Fries..we were NOT disappointed! Another great place to eat added to our list! Hoggs never disappoints !! With the Pulled Pork sandwiches and the House made Portuguese Hawaiian and the Cajun Sausages.. You cant go wrong, throw in a Rack of Ribs in and you are set..did I mention their Brisket..to die for. I Highly recommend.

Really delicious BBQ. I had the pulled BBQ beef and it was delicious. I had the pulled pork last time and that too was delicious. If youre in the area, definitely stop in and get a good lunch. Sandwich is packed generously with meat. Im a big guy and fills me just fine. I will surely be back. Sorry, no photos. My stomach was just too fast for the camera. Next time.

This place is amazing! They only have takeout as an option right now. I called in my order and the guy who helped me was nice and thorough with describing what was included in the combos. The customer service is great and they really make you feel welcome even though you do not have the option to dine in.
Barbecue, tastes so good, make you wanna slap yo mama! No, Im not exaggerating, its extremely good. When I arrived the place was busy & there were 3 cops eating there so I knew the place was probably good. Only 2 tables were open. The place was busy the entire time I was eating there. The baby back ribs fell off the bone. The chicken breast was moist. The sauce, sausage & barbecue beans were excellent.
Service was exceptional. Gotta hoggs burger and it was very good. Maybe lil more seasoning in patty. Not salt but, you know. And the fries are great

We Had a very Positive Experience! I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak fully loaded with an order of Zucchini and my Husband ordered RibTips with Onion Rings and it came with barbecue beans and a Roll. The place was not pack when we got there and the staff were great and attentive to our needs, they also had the game on which was a plus!
Management is so rude. We didnt receive all of our order spent $70.00 dollars there and they missed 3 side called them and they wanted us to take all the food back so I said fine I can do that then I asked will u remake everything because it will be cold and who likes to eat there food cold and they said NO just replace the 3 sides they missed. WOW SO RUDE. When I called to tell a different manager today he said can u hurry up and tell me what happened as I was trying to give him names who treated us wrong and well he was just as rude. Damn
We used to come here when they first opened. Just moved back and couldnt wait to go to Hoggs! What a disappointment. Even the coleslaw was nasty. Chicken which was supposed to be half a chicken was just a leg and thigh. Way overpriced. Will go to Dickies next time.

Phili tri-tip was amazing! It was packed with flavor in every bite. Had it with perfectly crunchy breaded fried zucchini. Totally reccomend it.
This is the place to go for some really great local BBQ. You will easily spend over $10-15 per person but this isn’t a cheap McRibb... real food cost $$. Great sides and great environment. Located on the Towngate from Frederick. The beef ribs, magnificent. They also have great burgers too. If you experience long wait times try calling in and pay when you get there. You can’t live in Moval and not give this place a try.

Couple of things to share. Hogg Chili Fries were decent. The Cajun link wasnt spicy, I did get the sampler, it was real good all is all is bbq beans (vandycamps) mac n cheese. Thanks Hoggs it was decent, I would eat again. CHECK out Gburger out of LA Harbra to go against your burger might provide incite yo competition.
Absolutely amazing. Everything is phenomenal on the menu, the Burgers, sausages, Philly cheesesteaks, and yes the ribs! Everything has such a tasty savory flavor, even with the recent price hikes this place is well worth your money and patronage. This place does BBQ right much better then Famous Dave, Dickeys BBQ pit, but I would put Lucille’s but not by much.

The best BBQ I have found in California. I lived in Oklahoma. Texas for a few years and got spoiled with their BBQ. I tried many places that people referred me to and was always disappointed until I ate at Hoggs. The prices are good, staff is friendly and the food is incredible.

Their service is awful they food is nasty their customer service sucks I was driving all the way from Riverside he said I didnt get there fast enough told me he put my food back then he said he threw it away which one is it if you put it back remake it and then he said he threw it away dont matter how long I took if I had to go all the way from Riverside in Moreno Valley traffic and then had an attitude and was talking to other customers 10 minutes before he help me service is bad

So on Thursday i went for the 3rd time to get the brisket plate and it was a totally different product then the first 2 times i had gotten it and it was disgusting. the first 2 times where some of the best brisket i had ever had then i paid 19 bucks for 3 giant chunks that sucked . dont think i will be returning if im playing is the food going to be good i want consistently good if im paying that much

Peach cobbler was a cake with mushy peaches ... the tri tip was dry no seasoning the beans taste like they came straight from out the can

Terrible customer service and food. I ordered food about 45minutes before closing. My food was not grilled at all, the flavor of everything was horrible, the sweet tea had no flavor. The restaurant had my receipt and card number on file, and I explained to them that I asked for a refund before closing hours, and they informed me that the owner is the only one thst deals with these types of issues. And so I called the following afternoon, and explained that I did not consume any of the food, my receipt got ruined because the FOOD spilled on it. I gave them the card information, the date, time, my name, and the general amount of my meal. And still they relay to me that the owner still request the food, and the receipt although Hoggs BBQ has my full and complete information on file.

Ok but there are better. Tried pulled pork and bbq beef but not much smoke flavor. Could have been done in slow cooker and had bbq sauce added after. Two sandwiches may not be a fair test but for price more bbq flavor was expected.
Hoggs is a great place for hamburgers hot dogs sausages and smoked meats, pork beef. Ribs are great too. They have all the sides dishes youd expect to find in a smoked barbeque restaurant. It was order out tonite I got an half pound hot dog its served on a French roll it was so big they had to cut off about two inches to fit in the box kinda funny seeing that, youll have to put on condiments yourself or ask them to bring them to you covid rules. I also ordered chicken wings with the hot barbeque sauce little spicy but I think most people would tolerate it. The wife ordered her favorite Portuguese Hawaiian sausage she loves it great flavor. Good food little pricey but its great!
I agree with Steve C. The baby back ribs are old and reheated! Always ask for fresh no matter how long the wait. Dont think Im going back. The sides are not home made.
Brought my pops here for Father’s Day and ordered him the half chicken and rack of ribs. He immediately compared it to Dickey’s and said it was much better. My sausage was also very good. They were nice about reheating my sister sandwich since she arrived a little later. Great place to break bread! My family and I eat here often. Always great food and friendly staff. My favorite is the pulled pork and the brisket, but I haven’t had anything bad here.
Amazing food! Pretty good BBQ for California. I ordered a sampler plate and it came with bery generous portions. My only complaint is the lack of variety with the sides. Everything else was magnificent!
For me the food has always been consistently well made. Everyone Ive brought here seemed to enjoy themselves. Never had any one complain.The sauces are top notch, prices are within reason for BBQ, and they now offer Mac and cheese.

First time going to Hoggs Gourmet Grill I ordered the quad hamburger combo, it tasted very good highly recommended.
