I am beyond grateful that this garden store exists in my area! The manager Jenny has helped my family many times and is a very knowledgeable and present person. She takes a great deal of time to listen to people and is extremely patient with questions about plants, of which we have many! The gift shop is loaded with classy, lovely gifts and they are constantly updating it. Everyone on staff is helpful and the store and garden always looks fresh and clean, inside and out. This is a refreshing and inspiring place and honestly sometimes we visit just for fun! So grateful to the Johnson Garden Center for taking such great care of my family every time we come.

I came here with my boyfriend, excited to check out a new nursery and get some new ideas for our garden. Unfortunately, the experience was not to pleasant. We walked in and started looking around. We walked up to we’re their were employees and no one said a word to us. When someone else came walking u ( someone of another race) the employees pleasantly greeted them. When the other party walked away, the employees still said NOTHING to us and just looked at us. At that point, I decided to leave. I will not spend my money where I am not welcomed or greeted.

Great place. Tons of variety plus a large selection of decorative home goods. Great staff. I have been looking for a garden bench for a couple of years. Found the perfect one here (its a rocker!). When it wouldnt fit into the car the staff took it apart and loaded all the plants around it as I live about 50 miles away so I didnt have to come back with a larger vehicle.

Wow, I love this place! It was my first time here and it was pretty quiet but it was the middle of a weekday. Great customer service, well organized, and they have something for everyone. I went for the succulents and made a beeline over. Lots of plants I not been able to find elsewhere. Fabulous prices, huge plant for the size of pot so felt like I was getting great value for my money. Many plants had tags with names and I love that. I just wished they were closer to me so I can go more often.

The garden staff are really helpful, unfortunately I cannot say the same for the manager. I must have spent at least $500 in the last month only on plants at this store. I have never returned or exchanged any plants in the past. I attempted to exchange SIX Sunpatiens, thats only $36, not anything outrageous because out of the dozen I bought, these died. The manager looks at my plants and accused me of not watering them. Ive been checking the soil on these plants every day for 2 weeks and they are definitely getting enough water. I asked her to look at my purchase history so that she sees this is not my usual pattern. She blew me off with quite an attitude. I was definitely surprised that this place does not stand behind their products or customer experience. Although Home Depot is not as knowledgeable as this garden staff, at least they do not insult their customers over a $36 exchange.

Wonderful selection of trees and plants. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Purchased two Blenheim apricot trees and they made sure I knew how to.plant them correctly. I was told to call back with questions, anytime!

Friendly staff, beautifully displayed & labeled plants/flowers. Super clean with wide aisles for easy browsing. Definitely coming back here as my cart & car was full from our first visit.

Recently expanded gift section...lots of great gift ideas and all things gardening. The plants are well cared for and not heat stressed. No wilting bedding plants. Very different from the big chain garden departments. Highly recommend.

Fun to stroll around for an hour or so!Very much like England Garden Centers except you cant get a meal....which would be a nice addition.1 pet peeve - Im the only customer at the counter being served and the cashier stops waiting on me to comment on minor work related issues with a coworker who approaches her.......thats a no,no but, again very English! 😉

They always have plants that are different and they have plants that do well growing once planted. Very helpful employees.

I usually enjoy shopping at this store because workers are super helpful. Well, not this weekend! I returned three products that I purchased two weeks ago because I ended up not using them. One of them did not have a receipt, but was purchased under my reward account. The cashier needed help with the return and the other worker who helped (she was supposed to be the expert when it comes to grass who helped us with our purchase on the product I was returning) were unfriendly and expressed annoyance while serving me.They were going to put my return on a gift card even though I had a receipt of the two items and the other on the reward account that showed I used my credit card. The lady said in an unfriendly manner that I should have had a receipt, so that I have a proof of purchase. Isnt that what the reward account is for? So you can see purchases made? The product that did not have a receipt scanned and it showed when I purchased it. Thats proof!I left the store thinking that the workers are only helpful and friendly when you are purchasing something, but not when youre returning some items (even if the products I returned were in brand new state).

This place has the best selection around and the plants are great sizes as well as healthy. The staff has always been incredibly helpful, and always offers to help me load up my car. Prices are also very competitive or better than Lowes and Home Depot.

I have lived in Morgan Hill for 40 years and Johnson Garden Center has been my go-to place when I am looking for plants. They always have a good selection of vegetable plants in the spring. This time I was looking for succulents and they had a lot to select from.

Their expansion is absolutely beautiful...they spent their down time wisely. Always have wonderful selection of flowers and fruits and vegetables plants. And there is always someone to answer questions or help address problems.

Always a great place to shop. I went to get somw great resistant tomato seeds and of course they could help me. So got the seeds and some ranunculous or Persian Butter cups for the garden.

My husband and I were in Morgan Hill for an errand. We decided to, also, stop at Johnsons Garden Center. Alex offered to help (only needed a small plant, but the right one). She was patient and well-informed. Checking out, we met, Paula, another who gladly assisted and thoughtfully offered a box-bottom for our plant. We picked up a terra cotta pot, but they have many other varieties (including beautiful Mexican-ware). Our little purchase was handled with as much care as a larger one. LOT of selection of plants, garden supplies and garden sculptures (statues, fountains, small ornaments, and more)! There is always someone there to help you find the plant you are looking for, even if all you have is the picture of a plant for identification. Pricing is not too expensive compared to other garden centers.

The employees are extremely helpful and they have a big selection of plants as well as pots (including big wine barrels).
