I got their French toast bagel and made a sandwich at home. The flavor was good, although the dough was not that chewy. 4 stars for the size of a bagel and the price! Only $1 for each!

Service is terrible. Their website says they open at 5 but they really dont open until sometime after 6. They dont even honor their own gift certificates.

This is one of the better bagel places Morristown. They’re hot sandwiches and omelettes are good. I haven’t tried anything besides their bagel sandwiches and eggs for breakfast. The people are very nice and they treat you well. The only reason I only gave them four stars is because they’re bagels by themselves are just ok, but the rest of the stuff is good

Amazing! I ordered my bagel and got caught up and came 45 min after I ordered it and when I got there they offered to make me a fresh one because they new it had been sitting there!! It was my own fault that I didn’t come right away but they were so nice and I didn’t even ask them to do that what so ever. They are so sweet and the bagel was great! Highly recommend

Best bagels in NY …but NJ

I love this place’s bagels. When my family moved from Boonton Township, NJ to Florham Park, NJ, we bought bagels from every place within a few miles to find a new, good bagel place for Sunday breakfast, and Morristown Bagel won, hands-down. The bagels are fluffy and well flavored, and usually uniform size.Except when they aren’t. One of the frustrating things about Morristown Bagel is they are so inconsistent. Some days the bagels are fluffy and perfect, others they are flat and misshapen. Which is fine, they still taste good. But the most frustrating thing about the store is 25% of the time that my family orders bagels in-store, they get the order wrong. We order 13 bagels every Sunday, usually the same order every week, and frequently we are shorted bagels or they give us the wrong assortment of bagels. Just this past week, the guy behind the counter wrote the order down in front of me, and when I got home, we realized that instead of giving us 4 blueberry, we had been given 4 cinnamon raisin and 0 blueberry. This happens more times than is acceptable. I’m not sure why the orders get screwed up as much as they do, but it really is a shame. The bagels are good, but for some reason, the workers there consistently make mistakes.

Placed order for pickup for 4 sandwiches. Order came in time stated. Only problem had was an item was wrong. Tried to call multiple times to see if I could get correct item after I drove home but no one answered the phone.

Awesome spot! Whenever I visit family out of state they ask me to being NJ bagels and these never disappoint. Hot and fresh with the perfect balance of crusty and chewy. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit.

Got there 10 minutes before close to just grab a bagel quick and first thing the guy said to me was im about to close I can only do something quick. He said only thing he can do is a bagel and cream cheese rudely and I said thats what I wanted. I asked what bagels they had left and he said no thats it I am closing. Before the onset of corona virus we had gone to Morristown Bagels and Deli multiple times during our trip to Morristown. We found the food delicious and the staff very engaging and super nice. It’s absolutely pathetic that Gov Murphy is playing politics with his shutdowns. These businesses should all be open, the public now knows how to keep themselves safe! In addition, customers who feel the need to wear masks as they consume food, need to stay home! Looking forward to visiting Morristown Bagels once again this November.

Terrible experience they were missing menu items and didn’t tell us until after we ordered and paid and they didn’t have basic napkins. A bunch of high school kids with no one in charge.

Originally from NJ and now live in the bagel wasteland of northern Virginia. Every time I come back to visit family I go here and get a zillion bagels. Easily the best you can get. Staff is cool too.

Loved these guys for years. Their bagels were delicious and theyre staffed with great people. But theyre way too liberal with letting people not wear masks.I get that its a deli and masks may briefly come on/off to sip coffee but I was really disappointed to see multiple people just not wearing them at all or hanging them around their ears just to have the appearance of one. You guys need to stand up to customers who dont want to wear masks. Its unfair and inconsiderate to the staff and other customers... not to mention illegal.Update: I went back and had the same issue with not enforcing masks at all. Also, a homeless woman had camped at one of the tables and was cleaning herself in the very close quarters seating section... RIGHT NEXT TO THE FOOD AND COFFEE!! Who runs this circus?! What on earth could possess staff to let this continue? Never again... yak 🤮

Came in at 3:10 expecting to order hot subs. Was told they do not make any hot sandwiches past 3:00 because they start to clean the grill then. I can appreciate the work that goes into cleaning the kitchen, and this would be a reasonable response if not for the fact that the place closes at 4:00 pm.Why are you making it impossible to order a substantial portion of your menu with an hour left until closing?Oh well...your competitor two doors down sure appreciated our business!

Stopped for a quick lunch with my 18 month old daughter. They brought out her food first so she wouldn’t get bored, and changed the channel from soccer to The Disney Channel for her. Absolutely amazing.Food was delicious, very fresh.

Walked in stood there for 5 minutes and not one person turned around to help. Place is full of day workers and there was a homeless woman picking her feet next to bagels. Place is dirty and unorganized. Wont let my wife go in there at all. 5 stars? Must be the owner posting.

This is a new spot I visited. We ordered five Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwiches. Which took them 35 minutes to cook. Patiently waiting and watching 7 other people receive their orders and they came in after us. We still ordered more sticky buns, everything bagels while waiting. After the long wait my brother gave the cooks a recommendation to speed up their page and complete the orders as people place them. They were extremely ignorant. Then we got home and the meat wasnt even cooked thoroughly. I was sick the entire night. I would never recommend them to anyone. Hell noooooo!

Objectively this place has great breakfast. Highly recommend. However its so irritating that they close 30 to 40 min early. If you want to close at 2 on Sunday then close at 2. But dont say you close at 3 and close up shop at 2:20. Its really disheartening to real customers who love your food.

Ive tried many lunch spots in Morristown. This place has great service and worth to be my daily lunch. Certainly best bang for your buck.

The food is good but is impossible to order by phone! They rude and inpatient! I use to go there almost everyday but now I order from somewhere else (macho nacho) were they know how to talk to people.

Long line even without many people, chaotic, unhelpful, and they got my very simple order wrong. Garlic bagel toasted with butter became garlic bagel untoasted with cream cheese. If you cant be bothered to listen to my order I cant be bothered to ever come back to your store.

We order from this restaurant fairly frequently and have it delivered to our office. The past 2 times that we have tried to order from them, we have had significant issues. On 7/3/18, we tried to order and the man was very rude. He said that they were too busy to heat up the oil for french fries and to choose something else. He also said that he was not able to not put the peppers and onions in the American Burrito. Because he was rude and wanted us to choose something other than what we wanted, we ordered from somewhere else. Now today, we called and tried to order and he said he was too busy to take our order and to call back in 30 minutes and hung up. We called back a little while later to place the order and he again gave us a hard time because there were a lot of people ahead of us and he was too busy to not put peppers and onions in the american burrito so we needed to choose something else or the burrito would have peppers and onions in it. Will NEVER try to order from this place again.

Fantastic bagels - I bought them when they were all hot and just out of the oven - got them home and they were warm, large, fluffy and chewy, with a slight crispness - perfect! And, the toppings (sesame, poppy, garlic, etc.) covered the bagel - they were not sparse - which is a wonderful bonus. There is now no reason for me to travel into Chatham or Morris Plains for bagels - wish I went here a year ago!
