Gem near Hyatt Hotel with HUGE portions and price is reasonable. Malts could be more thick with whipped topping, but overall cute old fashioned diner.

This place was good at some point, but has gone down hill. Diners are a few places where I can get one of my favorites, beef liver. It has always been pretty good here, but today it was terrible. Mine was cooked with the outer skin still on, which turns hard when cooking. It was cooked more than well done, and I had ordered it with mashed potatoes (probably the best part if my lunch) and gravy (which was not edible).I really do not expect all that much, but paying $15 for lunch I expect at least something that I can somewhat enjoy. Last time for me here. To bad.

Good service good french fries and burgers. Everybody at my table loved the food. We had a party of 9 and we were seated almost immediately. Water served and coffees, they kept them coming or at least offering coffee. Food all came out at the same time and everything was hot and just made. No food was left waiting out on the counter while the other foods were being made.

We had the nicest experience today at the diner. The food was good and the server was just the friendliest person. Thanks for making our night.

Very disappointed. Theres a way to treat people, regardless of how you feel towards them, and the way i was treated tonight was not it. I usually love coming here. I have only ever had one issue with this diner, which is why i wanted to come back tonight. Immediately after being seated I was bashed for posting an HONEST review of my experience. before even getting our orders, I was told that me and my friends will not be serviced and we are not allowed back ever. Keep in mind, I was not being disrespectful or rude, I was trying to comprehend why i was prohibited from eating at a restaurant after asking to change my drink ?!?!? At one point, i wasn’t even able to get my point across because there were 5 other waitresses ganging up/speaking over me. The waitress i had the last time i was here, was smiling and waving goodbye at me as the others were taunting me. As I was walking out they proceeded to say “she’s probably going to go and write another review about this”. To say i am hurt and disappointed is an understatement. as i said before, there is a way to treat your paying costumers and that is not it.

Awful service. Awful manager. The drinks at this spot are so bad. They always taste like nasty toilet bowl water no matter what drink you get. I wanted to exchange my drink the server rudely told me “just don’t drink then”… excuse me?? I am a paying costumer and am trying to get my money’s worth. When I tried to speak to the manager to let him know that this is how his employees are acting, he simply said “well i dont know what you want me to do. we are really busy”. absolutely disgusting. there is a way to treat the people supporting YOUR business, and that was NOT it.

Food was quite good. Had the blueberry pancakes and the corned beef hash with eggs. I gave it 4 stars because when it gets busy, it takes a long time for service. You have to flag people down. Otherwise I would definitely come back here again for the food.

You have to try the chili anything. I had to he loaded fries (fries with cheddar cheese, chili, and bacon bits) and was blown over by the flavor of the chili. Its got a sweetness to it that Ive never experienced before and sent my mouth into total bliss.I ordered the egg omelette with ham and bacon and was excited when the eggs came and I noticed they chop up the meats instead of just laying them inside of it.The atmosphere is friendly and the server was on point with conversation and manners as well as checking in on us.Highly recommend and cant wait to come back.

Very inconsistent with their food. Some days it’s amazing and other days it’s terrible. Half the time they forget some of the ingredients included in a meal. One day the fries are crispy one day they are microwave fries. Very disappointed in the quality of the food and the expectation verses reality. Nothing worse then getting take out and realizing they forgot to give u bacon in your sandwich.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! POSITIVE REVIEWS ON THIS PLACE WERE WRITTEN BY STAFF!! The burger was cold and sloppy. The cheese on my burger was not even melted. The wait staff was gone for most of the visit. When I went up to the register to pay the guy snatched the money out of my hand. Very rude. The guy was rude to my wife when approaching. We were very unwelcomed.. We will make sure NOT to come here again.

Classic quality diner food. Their link sausage was incredible. Only here for a day, so I ordered breakfast 3 eggs over easy, potatoes, sausage and rye toast. Diner breakfasts are the best and Morristown Diner hit it for me.

The food is exceptional, as is the service. I guess at a diner you cant always expect the cashier to be pleasant. Maybe that just comes with the job. Overall, great spot.

Just ordered food from here for the fist time. And the last time. Ordered hot pastrami sandwich. You can’t use deli pastrami meat?? No. They used thin super market package meat. The meat was hard and bone dry. Not one drip of the natural pastrami juiciness ☹️ I managed to choke down half by putting the coleslaw in between the meat —because I was starving. The bread pudding tasted like soggy sweet bread. So thoroughly disappointing 😩

I cant complain, its a diner thats open 24/7, a rarity around us. Great diner food, people are nice. Desserts are so-so, I do not recommend the red velvet cake. Great paninis, fries are good, wings are nice,as they are slightly breaded and tossed in buttery buffalo sauce.

Nice, clean and quick. Try three egg omlettes here as they are really good. Blueberry pancakes are worth a try too.Parking can be a trouble sometimes, so part on the other side of the road near small outlets.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!I was overcharged not a first time and when I spoke to a manager he literally hang up on me in the middle conversation.He was very rude and with terrible attitude.They ripping people off. The website has incorrect prices and they charge you more, explaining that it’s not their problem and they are not supposed to update a website every time something change.I work in hospitality industry and that’s not how you treat your regular customers.I would like to talk with an owner about this situation.

Went here, and there was hardly any parking, the European waitress was extremely rude and acted like she was too busy to check on her tables, the guy that looks like a walking thumb had a horrible attitude when checking people out, and the syrup packets were old and spoiled. Will never come back to this garbage establishment. Would rate negative stars if possible.

Never again. The utensils were dirty. The cole slaw about to go bad. The pastrami on rye was poor. No one to take our bill when we tried to check out. We had to call the waitress away from her phone and suggest that she might want to let us pay for our meal.

I can only review my lunch; the cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger was good, and cooked the way I ordered it. The fries were really good.Service at the Morristown Diner was good. The server checked with me during my lunch at least once. The food came out reasonably quickly.

Totally understand short staffing but filling coffee and water would go a long way to help the wait when you have help outside just standing and drinking something doing nothing. The mayo instead of butter was an honest mistake but just didnt help our experience.

I came around 7:30 in the morning. There was only one other customer in the restaurant as well. The hostess was very attentive, and when she was not around, the other waiter was attentive to me as well.However, despite the friendly service, I wasnt that impressed with the food. Poor customer service. We waited 30 min for service while other people were being seated and served. No separate checks or splitting checks.

We went on a Friday at 2:30am and it wasnt bad! The hot cocoa is TASTY, so is the belgian waffle. It can get loud because of all the bar folks stumbling in. Then, went again Saturday at 3am and boy was it LOUD! Which didnt bother us at all because we just joined in on the volume. But it was much more crowded with late night party people, so the the wait for our food took longer. But the French toast was good! Also, the silverware was dirty and it should be checked before being given to a customer. Oh, and they dont let you split the bill which is annoying.

My breakfast was fine. My friend ordered an open faced steak sandwich he stated was horrible. They did remove from the bill as he hardly touched it.

This establishment just needs to put a little more effort in quality. Please use any other cheese for your cheese fries than American. Literally gave me fries with two slices of cheese on top lol. I wasn’t impressed at all with the rest of food.

I ordered Uber eats for here and the food was absolutely disgusting. It tasted old and my food came covered in sauce I didn’t even ask for.Waste of my lunch time and money because they are very expensive and are over charging on the app compared to the menu on their website.Don’t recommend anyone eating here anymore !!!

Great diner spot with friendly and professional staff. Great menu selection, quiet and inviting ambiance. Would highly recommend the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and the Mozz Cheesesticks. Will definitely be going back to this gem!

It was ok? Huge menu, but food was mediocre. I had a Benedict and the hollandaise looked like movie nacho cheese. Server was nice, but it took about 15 minutes for someone to take our orders and then about 20 minutes to get our food. Also, aside from them having removed a few of the tables from the back, the rest of the tables were filled and there werent dividers between the smaller booths. It seemed like there were way more people than could have been legal with covid, and the people waiting by the door to be seated must have put the number of people way above the limit. One of the servers removed her mask anytime she input orders, and a customer walked from the back to the front without a mask and without being told to put her mask on. If youre going to go, I would wait until they have tables outside again.

I have never been to this Diner. However, I have ordered multiple times through delivery services, and have been extremely satisfied with the food each time. 5/5 recommend!

Big fan of this place. Been going there for years. They now have a covered outdoor dining area that’s great to use during Covid times. Prices are reasonable and service is great. Highly recommend.

The Cobb salad is barely a Cobb salad. It has ham and turkey in it and says it comes with avocado but it wasn’t in the salad when I got it. The cheese was actual slices on cheese that was diced and it was multiple types of cheese when I only asked for one. The menus states “cheese” so I guess they diced up the kind I asked for and whatever other kind they decided was meant to be on the salad. Also there was cucumber in the salad. Grilled chicken was extra since that isn’t in there definition of a Cobb salad. Not worth $17.

Made it back recently to where I was born and was very happy to find this place. Good food and atmosphere with kind and friendly staff!

I love this place. The food is much better than the average diner, the people are warm and friendly, everything about it is reminiscent of small-town family ( without the ridiculous rumor mills).

Went there late night and saw a server smoking a cigarette outside, which I didnt mind at all...but when we were seated she came straight into the front door and grabbed napkins and silverware and came right to my table, I watched her, she did not wash her hands. Though I understand I was there late, its a diner, and I had a good 2 hours before they closed so to see the server roll her eyes when the host told her she had a table, was quite disatisfactory. The food was horrible, almost warm, basically room temp. And Im not sure what the corn beef hash is made of but it cant be actual corned beef. It looks a lot like wet cat food. Unless youre super hungry and nowhere else is open, Id stay away. And if it matters to you...cops seem to hang out there a LOT and stare people down...they sit right by the bathroom entrance and it is quite awkward to say the least!

The menu said fluffy pancakes that is a joke my under cooked taylor ham was thicker than my pancakes. The home fries were so over cooked that we almost chipped a tooth....Quality control doesnt exist in this kitchen.

What else can we say about Morristown diner except yum yum! It is always a cozy stop for a good meal at a very reasonable price. The menu is quite ample and they are happy to accommodate special requests with their dishes. The wait staff is fantastic and the entire premises are squeaky clean. A must stop if you are in the mood for something tasty when going through Morristown. Enjoy!

Went there for breakfast. Breakfast special end at 10am but we got there about 10:30 and they honored it. Food was good they served us bacon and gave is 6 strips of bacon, wow. Only negative we were Hungary and waited a longer time to place orders. Worth the visit, people were very nice.
