Used to love this place when it opened gave it 5 stars. Not sure whats happening with management & labor but its devolved into chaos. Only had 2 registers open tonight, 6pm on a Saturday... had 3 open earlier this week at like 3pm on Wednesday afternoon. Express checkouts & deli counter have been closed for way over a year... citing covid. Cant get fresh meats cut but the seafood counter & buffets?! Open for business. Gotta find a new place to shop.

Very disappointed. Daughters sweet 16 today. Only 3 of us so this cake was perfect. When I get home and open the box to celebrate her bday, no cannoli which is her favorite. Terrible experience every time..try not to go to this location..cashiers dont even acknowledge you..youd think they were at a funeral how miserable they are..parking is a nightmare every time..no matter what time you go there..prices are way higher than other locations..I always go to Rockaway so I know..SO much better! Employees give dirty looks..I asked where something was and he said I dont know and walked away! Getting ghettoish...horrible store..was excited when they opened...all hype..go to Rockaway..wayyyy better..

Huge store with a big seasonal section. Drawbacks are: narrow aisles, and the deli you have to order at the kiosk. I ran in to get some turkey and pasta salad. The deli counter wasnt busy but I was told it would be 45 minutes! I ran in to get 2 items. If youre going to walk around the store and shop that works. It doesnt work for a quick stop.

The size and variety the store has makes it a great place to shop, but despite the size it still manages to be quite crowded. I haven’t been shopping there long (I’ve always gone to whatever the nearest ShopRite for groceries and love the chain as a whole), and want to give it the benefit of the doubt. The lines at checkout are just so long, but once you’re there and your groceries are being scanned you feel absolutely rushed. I’ve yet to have a cashier actually bag my groceries as they do at every other ShopRite I’ve been too. I don’t know if they’ve always done that, or if it’s something born out of the current labor shortage but I will say I’m not a fan. Don’t shop here alone you’ll be scrambling to bag your groceries while they scan at 50 mph. Still like the store though and will be returning, just hoping they fix the bagging situation soon.

I gotta say, its pretty cool for a shoprite. It has all these, like, nooks and kiosks. Its organized to have kind of like a downtown shopping district sorta feel, I think. Only stopped in for one item and then had to run, but may try to come back and do a more in-depth visit.

Shoprite of Morris Plains is by far the best food store around this area. I have never been disappointed with the meats, prepared foods, or general inventory. I have always been able to find what Ive been shopping for.

From a longtime ShopRite shopper I can tell you this is an excellent place to shop! They have an excellent amount of variety and the breadth of choice is truly exceptional. For example, I posted a picture of how much sushi they had on a Sunday night!

Its shoprite. They cater more to the everyday worker rather than shopper. Its a nice twist on the normal supermarket but also every shoprite is different because they cater to the area where they are. That being said dont expect to find certain things in this shoprite that you would find in others.

The produce has gotten progressively worse in recent months to the point where, on today’s visit, every single box of raspberries had mold in it (I spent 20 minutes looking at every single one because I really need raspberries lol) and all of the 5 bags of Brussels sprouts had mold/dark spots in them as well. Every box of lettuce and container of herbs had a large amount of condensation in it. So extremely disappointing to see nearly inedible produce—especially considering the prices. Wegman’s produce is a million times better and the prices are pretty much the same. Really hope that Shoprite can straighten this out.

Looks like a brand new Shop Rite location. Definitely the best interior Ive ever seen out of all the other Shop Rite stores. Very clean, with lots of registers. Lack of self checkout is a strange thing for me. Also, one of the places that still cant figure out that its not 10 items or less its fewer.Decent selection of liquor and beer here too.

A really great supermarket. A well provisioned deli with a great variety of cold cuts and cheese. Hot food counters with a variety of cuisines, including Asian, Italian, etc. The variety of sea food is also large, along with a station selling hamburgers and breakfast meals. Pharmacy and liquor departments are part of store. Plenty of parking is available.

Excellent ShopRite grocery; food, liquor store and pharmacy. You can go into the store and get fresh made bakery products, fresh seafood, full liquor store with a wide selection of wine, beer and spirits. The fresh vegetables and fruits are plentiful. The grocery department is well organized and has a good selection of products. Checkout was simple and quick. This was a good shopping experience.

Be sure to add an addl half hour to your shopping time here. No matter which bank of registers you visit, there will be a line.They cant be that oblivious with all those cameras watching, they just dont care. Now they use what used to be the food court express for full carriage transactions. Obscene

This place is awesome! One of the best food bars Ive seen next to Las Vegas!

Love shopping here but picking up deliveries for DoorDash and Shipt is a nightmare. Constantly get here and it takes at least 10 to 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge that Im standing there waiting for an order or I have to ask if anyone is working the delivery section. I just dont feel valued nor is their any urgency in this department. And when someone is called upon to come up to the station it takes 10 15 minutes or multiple associates to get ahold of someone. What gives? Us drivers have limited time to get these orders out and I even make sure Im here a little early so Im not late all the time. We get penalized for being late. Please address this issue. Just got news that after spending a total of 40 mins on this order driving to it and then waiting for an associate that this order wasnt even shopped for yet. Totally unacceptable.

Love their raisin walnut loaf. Look for the Bowl and Basket brand which is excellent value!

Great ShopRite! The deals are amazing, I got a box of pancake mix for $0.99. I go here whenever Im in the area and its always really busy but workable. I would 10/10 recommend coming here

I think this is the best supermarket in this area, variety of products, fresh food, salad bars, Indian, asian, american, Italian tables to choose from. Well everything you need, small pharmacy, alcohol section, and delicious roasted chicken and fried as well..WalMart should visit this store and learn something..because they’re not doing good in New Jersey.

Very busy, well stocked with a wide range of selections of all categories, tightly arranged. Reminiscent of the undercover marketplaces of areas around London, England and the open air markets of the North End in Boston, MA. The set up is a little challenging due to the tight aisles and displays that are not linear throughout. Prices are competitive and service is friendly and prompt.

That pulled pork sandwich and collard greens were amazing

Love this ShopRite, in the ready made food category it beats out the new local Wegmans (hands down)! This is not an exaggeration.The deal of the century is their BBQ, 1 protein and 2 sides for $7.46!!! Its more then enough food and its delicious!Pretty sure this is a Flagship location for ShopRite. They have an outdoor kitchen setup where they teach classes and shoot commercials. They have a full bar complete with a dozen TVs with live sports, They have have an oversized selection of grociers, they have a full liquor store complete with local an awesome local IPA selection, They have a daycare for the kids, and they have an amazing bakery section complete with custom cakes.We used them for my sons first birthday cake (2 tier with Crown) and smash cake, they came out amazing. My favorite grocery store.40oz Tomahawk steaks for only $25 is crazy good deal.They have everything you want, even have a liquor/beer aisle.They also give free fruit to kids and have a free kids drop off place.

Ok....yes, most meals i have start with a glass of wine. Now this was a NEW experience for me. I was in Morristown, NJ for a funeral, but a resident suggested we go over to ShopRite....yes you read that correctly....ShopRite for dinner. They have a restaurant inside the store! Friday was $15 buck lobster dinner....i swear I cannot make this up!ShopRite has come up and in a big way! Not only was I surprised, i was having dinner in a supermarket, but you can order from a menu, or go over to the food bars and grab grub to bring into the restaurant. I opted for a salad....forgot the picture, but i did managed to get a pic of the wine.....a girls gotta have her priorities straight... ;)

They have the best smoothies ever!!delicious even better than playa bowls wow! And juices awesome place! Inside shoprite they have a vendor thats blending up the greatest health drinks juices and smoothies I definitely recommend!!

They are not honoring returns due to COVID. I was trying to return a small packaged box that could have easily been sprayed with Lysol if they were actually worried about COVID. Just a money-grubbing policy designed to take advantage of people.

Hope never to go back. After six visits with ultimately the same results of long line to check out, self checkout right next to each other even though one side was completely closed, deli being very inefficient and providing wrong items even though I must select them on a keypad. No one cares, management is nonchalant and never follows up. The people in produce are very helpful and nice. Thats it.

Great set up of a store. The food in the trays are sometimes a little dry, but I don’t eat public food anyway so it doesn’t matter to me. I like how spacious and organized the store is.

Without fail, your cashiers NEVER tell customers to give each other space at the check out. I should NOT have a stranger less than a foot away from me even under pre pandemic circumstances!Also, Rhoda one of your cashiers, always jumps over her area to see if people are shoplifting. What the heck is up with that?

Always quick and easy. They offer a hugh selection of different types of food for lunch. The only downside is as of 4/15/21, you cant eat onsite yet.

This store is still not allowing returns and stating it is because of COVID 19. They do not even allow returns on non-food items. This should be illegal and reported.

This had to be the best shoprite Ive ever seen. Visiting from out of town and this store was like a tourist attraction, I was shocked by all the stations of fresh food. Ill definitely visit again if I come back in this area.

We went there to do some shopping and couldnt believe the huge selection of everything. The store was so much bigger than the Shop Rite we usually frequent. This was a very pleasant surprise.

Big selection of foods, almost anything you would want is there. Not a safe place though as they dont enforce proper mask wearing. I always see numerous people wearing masks below their nose. Please fix this. I deserve to be able to shop in a safe environment

Hands down the absolute Best ShopRight in the state of NJ. Jason Mihalik is awesome. So helpful with questions or products request. An excellent shopping experience. Sushi bar is also a great buy.

This is a newer Shoprite that sells almost everything including alcohol, cooked food and sushi. In spite of the size of the place, its usually easy to find what youre looking for. They REALLY keep up with the cleaning and sanitizing of the entire store. Even though it was crowded, they had staff cleaning all the touched surfaces everywhere. The lines moved very quickly and we were out of there much faster than expected.

This ShopRite is not terrible, but lately they are not restocking their items; even days after a new sale begins. Their produce is not as fresh as it usually is. My biggest complaint is concerning their cashiers; not all of them but some are just incredibly unprofessional and act like they are too good to be there. For example, I was there to pick a few things and Liz who rang me out felt the need to talk down to me when I had simply asked when the Holiday Free Turkey promo as ending, her response why dont you just check your receipt. Then she berated me because I couldnt fit all my groceries in my tote bag and asked to grab a plastic bag; it was like I was stealing it to her. What happened to this place and why are employees like Liz even hired. Give the job to someone who actually cares about the service they provide. Hopefully this location in Morristown will improve.

On the road for work and stopped in to pickup lunch. Wow what a great place. I am jealous of my local Shoprite. Clean. Excellent selection and staff is A+

This is an incredible supermarket. Raw foods, cooked foods, smoke house, pizzeria, asian, deli sandwiches. eat in with a bar or take out. I have never experienced a supermarket quite like this. And their own DJ music playing tunes while you shop or dine. A must experience.

This store is pretty large... they have just about everything you need when it comes to grocery items (i did say just about everything - they have cut back on some items I am always in need of!) ....always check your receipt - too many times the price you are charged doesnt match the price on the shelf - and staff is always great about rectifying issues.... great staff there!

BIG, clean and lots of variety. You can save on household goods and basic daily necessity but avoid evening and weekend (its very busy). Hot food, cold food, oyster bar, sushi bar also offer variety of quick food. wine selection not so shabby

Amazing custom cakes..ordered red velvet 2 tier cake for sweet16 and was simply beautiful and delicious too. Totally recommend it. Only negative part is delivery price is atrocious...so landed up picking up ourselves.

This is my preferred Grocery store. It has what I want, its prices are ok. My only problem with them is their new Mobile scan system. You download an app. The app scans each item & puts it in your cart. When you are done, you can go the the express, pay your bill and go on your merry way. No emptying & refilling the cart. It worked twice. Since then I have only received a message that says it cannot connect. UPDATE: The mobile scan was working this week.

Pharmacy is very professional. Went there for my COVID vaccine. Was put at ease and would recommend.

Always some one to help you if and when needed.little hard to find parking some days but worth it .been going there since it opened and never had a bad shopping experience.

What a tale I could tell you. If you fancy some of the better things in life then you need to get here quickly to check it out for yourself.They have a plethora gourmet cheeses, delicious meal options, and if you fancy frozen products there are 2 freezer banks almost the length of the whole back wall.I always wondered if it were possible to trip the power breakers on those, if you brought about 200 of your closest friends, who have bail money for themselves and to pay for the lost product .In retrospect this probably the stupidest idea I ever hadSo dont do it its not worth it.Be safe and stay healthy, we are still in this together.

Firs of all, this ShopRite’s customer service doesn’t give you the opportunity to express yourself. They accuse you of being rude when you try to reason with them. This women was very hard to speak with. She was super rude, she turned her back on my husband and I when we’re trying to explain to her what had happened and she also slammed the door on us.We really didn’t know that the new policy wouldn’t honor coupons after a purchase is made. We were busy bagging and didn’t realize that we were charged regular price for this item after we had paid. Then, the cashier sent us to customer service, I guess she didn’t know the new policy either.Second, we understand that they are not accepting returns but we don’t understand why they don’t honor coupons when customers have not even left the store. (This incident took place on 8/23/20 at around 2 pm).So, make sure you read EVERYTHING, policy, signs, etc., before buying anything.ShopRite lost us as customers, and I guess they don’t even care...

I am new very new to New Jersey it is almost Christmas j was appalled by my checker Diannes attitude towards me being in her line i cheerfully walked up to her handed her the gloves I was purchasing and she told me to back up to the end of the desk there was no one in front of me so I was shocked to say the least this type of an attitude and behavior is the kind that makes me want to spend my money elsewhere during the CV money is well earnedIll think twice the next time I go grocery shopping and most likely will shop at an alternate grocery store

The self checkout is THE WORST experience I have ever had. I would literally rather be JFK in a convertible than experience that again.

Love the pickup option! My order was brought out quickly and the person who helped me packed everything with care into my car, (and I got a lot of eggs and a lot of tomato sauce jars.)Highly recommend.

Customer Service at this location is not there to service customers. I had very bad experience with them. I made a mistake add items in my cart instead of loading a coupon. After paying I went to ask customer service. They said I didn’t load a coupon. I asked if they can adjust the price. They said nothing they can do. I couldn’t even return and repurchase because they took advantage of Covid that they wouldn’t take return. I just couldn’t believe it that there is “nothing they can do”. I guess customer service here are just simply “do nothing”. I like ShopRite but not the customer service here. If you shop there, make sure no mistake made. Otherwise you’re screwed.

More than just groceries all under one amazing supermarkets roof. Variety of precooked meals or cooked on the spot. Grab a bottle of wine or six pack on the way out and maybe some fresh flowers for that special someone and much more 👍🏼

Nice place. But disorganized. People seem rude. If felt as if all staff was watching us as it came near. Closing, and awkward feeling. They actually lined up with radios..and blocked areas until we left. I was uncomfortable.

Amazing lack of Customer Service at this ShopRite. I purchased a container of shredded Pecorino Romano Black Bear Cheese. One week later when we went to open the container noted that there was mold in the sealed container. It did take me 2 weeks to finally remember to return it as I would forget to take it out of the refrigerator and bring it with me. I went to Customer Service and was promptly told they have not taken back any items for over a year. I explained I was not returning but exchanging a spoiled sealed item that has an expiration date of 5/3/2021, over 2 months out. I was shocked, as Wegmans and Stop & Shop have taken back spoiled items. I was told that they do not take back perishable items. Funny thing is that these containers of cheese are not refrigerated but are out in the open, unrefrigerated. On ShopRites own webpage they state that in NJ items are only returnable if defective, damaged or spoiled. I would think moldy sealed cheese is spoiled, so they dont even follow their own policy on returns. I like ShopRites sales and have had good experiences with the meat department but shop with care. In the future Ill only shop their sales and make all other purchases at Wegmans and Stop & Shop. Buyer beware at ShopRite. Its sad that ShopRite is hiding behind the Covid-19 State of Emergency to take advantage of customers. Still pursuing this with ShopRite management.

This is the ultimate grocery shopping experience. They have multiple - MULTIPLE - cheese and dairy sections. Big produce section, and large variety of store-baked goods. Huge liquor wine and beer area. And then all the other stuff you would expect from a standard grocery store.

Went to pick up a ShopRite From Home order today and ended up waiting over 25 minutes for the order to make its way out to the car. Only one person was running groceries, an indication that management had severely understaffed the operation. The car next to us ended up leaving without their groceries because it was taking too long. Be aware of the long wait times if choosing this method of grocery pick up or consider another store altogether.

Wow! What a store! So much to look at! So many different brands of foods to choose from! Loved the food court! Fabulous!! Every dept is Awesome esp the Bakery, Produce and premade meals. Lots of isles of groceries with all kinds of extras from dishes to speciality soups to seasonal gifts and home decorations! I didnt want to leave! 5 Stars!!!!

This store is always wonderful!! They have everything imaginable, however tonight I experienced something that I could not believe. As someone who has worked in a customer service oriented field whereby I was always trying to please the customer, I was taken a back to find out that the seafood department was closed. I went to the courtesy desk to see if I could get a rain check to purchase a pound of scallops tomorrow since they are on sale. She said I’m sorry we are not giving out rain checks at the moment. She called the manager over and I explained my situation. I said I was unaware of the fact that the seafood department closed early. His response was that they just increased their hours from 5-7pm. I asked him isn’t there someway you can get me a pound of scallops and he said no.THAT IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Especially since nowhere on their website does it state that their seafood department closes early. At the very least, they should have wrapped up the small amount that was in the showcase (it looked like it was only about a pound) and placed it on the shelf.

I love this store except the crowdsI go there specifically for mr. Perrys smokehouse ribs. They are to die for. And the price is so reasonable for what you get.
