My husband and I have been shopping at Country Mile Gardens for over 30 years. From flowers, herbs, garden tools, yards of soil or mulch we are constantly happy with our purchases! The staff are always helpful and pleasant. I was buying my perennials this year and Sharon was so incredibly helpful. She was knowledgable, patient, and kind as she showed me every shade perennial that CMG carried. Answering all of my questions as we went along. I was able to fill my cart with all that I needed. When I went to check out the cashier, Christine greets me with a cheery hello, how are you today, as I so enjoy hearing every time I shop there. Even with a long line of customers she always makes each customer feel like they are the only one in the store. Never gets annoyed or frazzled, never makes you feel rushed, and is a big part of why I keep coming back for more!

Great place, have visited many gardening centers in the area and this in by far the best one. Staff is very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to answer and questions. Well stocked, many choices, always a pleasure to visit

Place was very nice with everything you may want for your garden. Great selections of plants and flowers, etc. It was very crowded but it did not prevent me from shopping there.

A long over due thank you to Dan Gallo and his team for a great job managing the purchase and delivery of hydrangea trees for my daughters wedding October 2019. We added white lights to the trees and they looked stunning in the ballroom. After the wedding, my daughter & son-in-law gave the trees to family & friends. Since then we frequently receive photographs of their wedding trees blooming.Most recently, thank you to Erik for managing the relocation of our tree to our new home. Again, the team was professional and knowledgeable. The tree looks great in the yard and we have a beautiful reminder of a very special day!I hope more customers consider this idea for their wedding.

Absolutely love Country Mile Gardens. I visit at least once per week. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the plants are healthy and well maintained. Theyve got a great selection of potting mixes, stones, mulches as well and they always help me find what I need. The owner Thomas is very friendly and really seems to care about the customers. Great place and would recommend to anyone.

I felt I had to write a review to express how incredible an experience I had there earlier this week. I stopped by in search of large rocks for my stream. They had a pallet of exactly what I needed. I was worried they wouldnt deliver given I was a bit further than typical delivery covers. Not only did they quickly say yes, but they let me choose timing and didnt require that I be home. Every step of the process was easy and they were all so nice. The delivery guy even called my cell to be sure I was happy with where he was placing the pallet in my yard before he did so. I would do business with them any time given their personal touch. They value customers.

We hired Country Mile Gardens for a full redesign of our front yard landscaping. Erik was amazing to work with and took into account all of our preferences. The whole process was seamless. We are truly enjoying the look of our front yard now! We highly recommend County Mile Gardens!

Ive been going here for years. Great staff, high quality products, and I always get great advice. They worked on a small front yard design and landscaping project this past spring. The design was perfect, the work was done quickly, and the result was great.

We absolutely LOVE this place, and have been with them since they opened! They all feel like family to us! They have a huge selection and equally huge knowledge base; my whole family has learned much from them.We recently did an extensive landscape project to add privacy to our backyard ( after a neighbor cut down 5 healthy, mature trees!) We planted 6, 8-10 ft. trees and many, native shrubs . It was designed by Erik, their landscape designer who chose plants for year round color and/ or flowering, and deer- resistance. He stayed the entire day to help and supervise. The crew was amazing and went above and beyond what was necessary. Mulch completed the complete transformation!Many thanks to all of you!!

I have been a customer at Country Mile Gardens for decades and cannot recommend it more highly for all gardening needs.Recently, I needed to replace two truckloads of 100 year old English boxwood that became diseased and had to be burned.Tom Gallo and his sons Thomas and Dan helped me with their landscaping advice and supplied the most beautiful Ilex Crenata shrubs,which will not be effected by the disease that may be remaining in the soil.They even planned and installed soakers to ensure the well being of the 45 new shrubs.I am now looking forward to Dan ordering beautiful roses for spring 2020.

The older white-haired guy was unfriendly, abrupt and rude. While shopping for pond plants a worker gave me the price of the plants I was interested in (bc nothing has prices on them) so I shop a bit and make my way to the register. As I got to the register the guy behind the register asked me did Iknow how much they were? I replied with the answer I was given by the person that was helping me pick them out. The same unfriendly white-haired guy, wihtout making eye contact and with an attitude, tells me a price which was DOUBLE what the worker had told me while picking them out. He said I KNOW for a fact...I said, fine..whatever, I will take them....Only to find out THEY DONT accept AMERICAN EXPRESS! Wont be shopping there anytime soon.

I had an emergency landscaping job in order to get ready for an open house on Sunday. Called on Thursday, Dan came out that evening to give me an estimate and had the crew arrive right on time Friday morning. Less than 8 hours later my front yard was transformed and all on budget. It was right out of HGTV! Total Curb Appeal makeover. Dan and the crew exceeded my expectations by a Country Mile! Thanks guys!

BUYER BEWARE!!! Well, at first I was very impressed b y tom, his crew, and their willingness to be responsive. I had them plant 3 hemlocks and a red maple along the front of our property, and 6 hemlocks in the back, all of which are doing fine. HOWEVER, they also recommended planting knockout rose bushes and other decorative shrubs and grasses along the font garden, and every single one died. When I called Tom only weeks after the planting to say they didnt look good, he said he would come by to take a look, and then called me to say they were fine. I told him at the time I wanted to be sure they would stand by the product of they didnt survive,. and he was vague in his response. Now, after the winter, they are all truly dead, and he told me that there is no warranty, and he wasnt going to do anything about it, period./He just lost a customer who had purchased from them for years, as well as several other family member with homes in the area. Shortsighted on his part, but maybe ripping people off is making him so much money he doesnt care! As I said, BUYER BEWARE!

This place is fantastic, Dan and Thomas are super helpful with orders both large and small. I mostly work in Newark, and we take the ride up to Morristown because this place is fantastic and the service is great!
