This place is planned in to our California vacation every time we come here. My kids and all of my friends love it when they get a pound bag of assorted saltwater taffy. Their fudge and toffee is amazing, and they have some assorted candies that my kids love. They also have coffee that is great for the chilly mornings.

You absolutely should stop by and get a coffee and cinnamon bun and coffee. They have the best salt water taffy with many different flavors available. They also make their own fudge and candy. Whatever your sugar fix is they have it. There is a park nearby that you can enjoy your treats while enjoying a great view near the water.

People are always talking about this place for their fresh, baked-daily, cinnamon rolls. My dentist, yes you read that right...my dentist, even raved about it! It was even mentioned in a recent movie (Happy Death Day 2) indirectly. Ive walked by this place multiple times and stopped in for ice cream and candy. They have salt water taffy, fudge, and other sweet treats. But I was on a mission to try these famous cinnamon rolls.Verdict: The cinnamon rolls are HUGE and generously sized. Enough to share between 3-4 people imo. Its super decadent so I cant have more than a few bites myself. I loved that it was sticky and warm. The bun was fluffy and moist. Great cinnamon flavor. Maybe cinnamon rolls arent my thing, but I relatively enjoyed it despite how messy it was to eat. Id imagine if youre a big fan of these, you would enjoy these.Solid 4 stars for me. The only reason Im knocking one star off is because of the service. I had a young man serve me and he was so brief with me that it felt almost rude. I asked him to go easy on the frosting and he smeared the largest dollop on top regardless of my request. Thats how much he was rushing through the service. There wasnt even a long line or other customers behind me so Im not sure what that was all about.

Crill definitely gets 5 STARS! They have amazing deserts and ice cream, if there is a line it is worth waiting in hot summer sun for.

I love this candy store. I have been going here since I was a kid. The quality of the candy is very good. It is easy to see the selection because it is a walk up shop and they have everything in the window. The fudge and salt water taffy is wonderful!

This place serves cinnamon rolls, house coffee/ espresso, scoop ice cream, homemade chocolates, assorted bags of saltwater taffy, and cookies!They do not have brownies, chocolate covered strawberries, and they do not ENJOY rude customers. Please feel free to stop by any time!

Taffy was good and chewy.

Super disappointed. I don’t enjoy putting out a bad review, but this one was dangerous! We got a few truffles over the weekend (June 13,14 2020) I understand that the quarantine put people at a stop, but the truffles we brought home were full of mold! I feel pretty confident that these truffles have been sitting around for a couple of months, and instead of throwing them away, they sold them at full price. My husband swallowed some before we realized he was eating moldy truffles. I don’t want anyone to not buy from them, but be aware. The truffles tasted stale and old, the chocolate was powdery and the mold, that’s dangerous. On a lighter note, The cinnamon roll was delicious. I hope the owner takes this seriously and tosses those moldy, old, stale Candies.

Went to this Candy Store when visiting Morrow Bay on Monday. We were so unhappy with our purchases. The popcorn we got was stale and I believe it may have been popped a few days prior!! Bought a 10$ bag of taffy for my mother brought it home and it is really sort of flavorless not to mention the extra large wrapper they use to wrap each piece to make your bag look fuller😔 I buy the sweets brand out of the grocery store and it’s so much better than this😔 we also bought some of the homemade candy by the pound we weren’t impressed. Not worth the money we spent.

Good cinnamon rolls, however not a kid friendly place. My kids (2 toddlers) were playing appropriately with cheap rubber toys and the owner stood over them and scowled at them. I was talking to my husband about our order with my kids in my peripheral and I walked over to them and she asked if they were my kids and I said yes they are. She then sternly asked if we were going to pay for the toys. I asked my boys to put the toys back and they did. I told her they are children, toddlers. She then said, “they’re your children and you need to watch them.” We paid for our cinnamon rolls and 2 toys and will not be returning. When toys are placed at kids knee level it is to entice them in hopes that a purchase will be made which is exactly what we did. Terrible experience!

Their cotton candy is very fluffy! Love the salt water taffy. Usually banana or cinnamon. On the way out to Morro Rock, usually a line. Highly recommend!

The cinnamon rolls here are blah. Not great but not bad either. You can take them or leave them. They are huge and smell fantastic but the dough is tough and dry and the caramel is elastic and stretchy. I hate to be crass but its almost like eating snot. Rubbery snot. Plus side was that the sweetness level was good (we didnt get the cream cheese).The truffles are also huge. They are a good 4 bite size. However, again these were blah. Low quality chocolate (could possibly be coating chocolate) with very artificial flavors inside. They were very smooth and decadent in the inside though, even with the artificial flavor.I will say that the oatmeal cookie was fantastic. Very good.

I truly love everything that this place has to offer. We always buy candy for gifts from here. We always get a great response from the friends and family that we give those gifts to. The kids that work there are always helpful and friendly.👊😎🍬

Cinnamon roll was doughy, cold, flavorless, and all around nasty. 2 stars for the suckerbait gifts inside and the friendly service. Besides that, Ill pass. Icing was cold and lacked sweetness. The cinnamon roll needed to be cooked longer to get the carmelized crunch from the sugar and to avoid the feel of sludge sliding down your throat.

Not your average cinnamon roll shop like in pismo but it definitely does the trick. Picked one up to share while we watched the otters in the ocean and it was raining. If you get one make sure to get a side of cream cheese frosting. Best Ive ever had

Quite pricey but worth it. Their chocolate is top notch and is made fresh (unlike some of the other places). Their cinnamon rolls looks delicious but unfortunately we were not that hungry.

Cinnamon rolls are ok. Maybe its just my preference but im used to the ones at the fair where the brown cinnamon glaze has a little crunch to it with clumps of sugar and cinnamon is between the rolls. Id also recommended if the city allows a vent that blows the smell of the rolls into the street you would attract more buyers and add to the nostalgia of the town. Customer service was ok but could be better. I also didnt see any milk.. a fridge with milk and easy access to it for the customer would add to sales...

Nice place. However young female employee was cross contaminating utincels for serving cinnamon rolls, between nuts and no nuts. 😨

Yummy toffee!

Cinnamon rolls suck! Hard to explain but here’s my best, the syrup is bland, the bread is dry at the bottom and unflatteringly soggy at the top under the bland syrup. To top it all off the staff has been unfriendly the multiple times we have been there. Im sure they would agree what they sell is underwhelming.

Love the cinnamon rolls, usually; however, yesterday we picked one up and almost tasted stale. The cookie we picked up was beyond stale. I will never get one again !!!

This place makes the best plan cinnamon buns around. They are pretty big & messy but they are so delicious & the cream cheese frosting is like heaven. If you want to try one best go early cause the go pretty fast, we waited 20 minutes just to get one & my husband loved them so much that we had to stop & get him another one before we left town. There chocolate dipped oreos, caramel squares, chocolate covered caramel marshmallows are very tasty as well. I personally am not a big fan of there oatmeal rasin cookies (they could of had more oatmeal & more flavor)

Grew up on those cinnamon rolls and by far the best, no one on the coast can top them. Love em! If your in morro bay its a must to stop here. The smell alone will get you there, lol.

Absolutely love the truffles at this shop! I visit this place specifically to purchase truffles everytime I vacation in Morro Bay. It has become a tradition to not leave the Morro Bay area until I get my truffles from Crills II, lol. I recommend trying this shop. The staff have always been friendly to me.
