It’s nice to have craft supplies readily available. They have regular sales that rotate through different departments which is nice. If I don’t know where a product is or if they carry something the staff will often reply with “I don’t know” or “I don’t think we’re have it” which I find irritating and the reason for four stars instead of five. There’s a woman there named Ann that’s really knowledgeable and helpful though so I always try to find her when I have a question.Their framing department spends time to make sure you get the frame/matte everything you want. I was impressed with the framing they did for me (I originally was going to go elsewhere but the other place was closed due to the pandemic). The frame on one of my pictures had a ding in it though and they tried to repair it and repaint it. Although no one called to notify me of this and ask if I wanted a different frame or the repair to be done (which is what I was told at time of pick up was supposed to happen) they did make it right by discounting the frame a generous amount.Overall I’m usually really pleased with my visits to our local Michael’s and always find something (whether it’s what I went there for or not is a different story).

I like this store. It is fairly easy to find what I want. The selection is pretty good. The employees are very pleasant and helpful.

Perfect store for any artist out there! Full of creative stuff. Supreme art pencils for sketching, large kits of colored pencils to fit anyones needs, theres even art resin and molds.

Cold food. Had Sonic (by Rosaeurs) couple days later for the 1st time. It was well worth driving to the north end of time and not nearly the wait time

Selection was lacking, however friendly customer service was fantastic and friendly!

I recently went into the store in Moscow. I was looking for a mat to match a picture I had. Eddy helped me at the framing department and was extremely helpful! I think his customer service skills were great and made me feel like I will definitely go back to that store.

Can you believe we found Sea Shells, Star Fish, Coral, glass in a teal color and from there we went to look for something to decorate a flower vase with dried grass and something that resembles sand dune grass and weeds. We found it. We also needed hardware to hang oil based painted ocean scene framed pictures and found that.It is a wonderful place to let your imagination go free. I was looking for something for my mother, the only place I could find for 30 miles around. Kind of a little spendy, but it helps my mother. So worth the effort.

Usually love Michaels and their prices and coupons . But went to the one in Moscow idaho today to exchange some shirt paint with another color of the same product thats the same price. It was a 20 minute ordeal because the manager said we cant exchange something after using coupons and I would have to pay the full price . Thats ridiculous that you cant do an even exchange. If I knew that I wouldnt risk buying the product

Michaels - five starsMichaels is a great store for any kind of craft Supply such as special artist pencils or paint. I used to get a lot of drafting supplies from here a while back. The items are generally high quality even though the prices might be a little high. The selection is massive. The store is clean, well lit, and organized. The employees are extremely helpful and professional when it comes to customer service, keeping the shelves stocked, and of course the checkout.

I love the ladies who work in there they do everything they can to save us money every time we go in. And they have a huge and beautiful bead section.

This Michaels is not as stocked as the ones in bigger cities. Dont be surprised if you ask for something and theyve never heard of it. I was looking for gold leaf and was met with very confused looks. The prices arent the best unless you use a coupon. They have some great seasonal sales and discounts worth checking out.

Michaels is a good place to shop if youre broke. Its very affordable and there is a decent selection of clothes, shoes, and toys. For men, the selection is a lot slimmer and the clothing section is cluttered with Boise State University polos and jackets. Most of the store is ailed toward the women. Ive never shopped in the womens clothing department so all I can say is it exists.

I love this store! It really is the craft supplier of the area. Sales are happening all the time and they have all sorts of $1 bins around the store. My go-to for decor, crafts and frames.

I never leave here with just the thing I was looking for. I leave with what I was looking for plus at least one other project worth of supplies. Lately Ive been crocheting. The selection of yarns is better than Jo Annes, and way higher quality than Wal-Mart, but not as expensive as the specialty yarn shop in town.

Very helpful staff when you ask for help. They have a wide assortment of picture frames for just about any project. Only recommendation would be to have the staff be more ready to help.

My kids and I have always loved shopping at Michaels because of the great sales! This particular store has some of the kindest and helpful employees of any Michaels weve shopped in. So friendly!!

I could be lost for hours in here and thats ok with me! Lots of great stuff for everything from decor to crafting.

Although the variety and prices of the for sale items in this store get 5*, the framing gets none. I had three frames. the first day all three feel inside their frames and had to go back to be redone. They are done - not with right angles, a little sloppy on the alignment, the glue they used stained the front of the pastels. Luckily they only used it in the corners.Today one, one week later, fell off the wall (the attachment piece was glued not nailed), making a nasty scratch in my table and damaging the frame, which was quite expensive - as much as a museum quality job.

Always fun at the craft store

Order online, pickup in store is fabulous! A few glitches with my cart being emptied after leaving it sit while I was busy doing other things...three times!... was frustrating though... once youre signed in, your shopping cart should be saved...always. Most people might have given up, but not me! 😁

Was in the store looking for Christmas decorations when I saw employees cleaning the floor on their hands and knees. For a store like this, you’d expect an ounce of respect for the people who keep it running. Will not be coming back

Michaels is where the crafty stuff is at! If you need to make giant letters from foam board and buy smelly paint, thats the place.

The store had a clean and inviting atmosphere while the employees were courteous and helpful.

I dont shop there very often but the few times I have the staff were very helpful and I was able to find what I needed.

We have had a number of paintings framed professionally by the framing staff. Previously we used Aaron Brothers Art Mart in La Jolla, California. Michaels in Moscow, Idaho was at least as good, and there was no waiting. Awesome !
