Best tacos in Helsinki, no doubt (and Ive had plenty)! Very nice authentic atmosphere, great service and would definitely recommend for anyone :)
Amazing food and even more amazing customer service! We were a group of seven and we all got our food in no time, super good drinks and a loooong list of tequila 🔥It was very hot in the restaurant but it was no problem for the waiter to move our seating outside! Truly a pleasure and I highly recommend! (fish tacos 10/10)

Very unattentive staff, food was horrible, unseasoned and brisket was only gray hard fat. Nothing to do with real brisket. Nothing fresh on dish apart couple coriander leaves.Also chicken tacos tasted like pasta, with parmesan and tomato sauce?I mentioned the staff that beef was horrible, they gave me -20% discount on the dish, its a joke.Never again.

You must try the agua de tamarindo when you visit this restaurant. The vegan options were delicious. The cheese was made from coconut, and the salsas and dressings were very tasty. It had been almost a year since we last visited El Rey, and I am so glad that, even during corona times, its still in business.

They didnt have the potato tacos I love so as a main I had tacos al pastor vegano and it just wasnt great. Didnt have much taste of anything. But, the coconut ceviche I had as a starter was amazing ❤ great cocktails too and friendly servive
Guacamole was delicious but way too small for 11 euros! The fish tacos were missing salt and felt insanely pricey regarding the contents of the meal (deep fried unflavoured white fish, a little bit of shredded kale and carrot and mayo on 4 small tacos). Music, service and ambiance were ok, although the restaurant felt crowded and the tables were very close to each other, which during pandemic times didnt feel comfortable.

Ate here in March 2020. Excellent food and drinks. Food reminded us of Santa Cruz, CA. Drinks more of San Diego. Some of the best Mexican food I have had outside of California and Mexico. Definite street style tacos. Recommend the carnitas. Not crispy, but flavor is spot on.
Food was tasty but staff forgot about us after serving mains. Wouldve liked to order desserts and coffee but chose to just get the bill since our group had to leave for a movie.
Excellent food, nice atmosphere, friendly but busy service.Been here twice. Good experience both times overall. We’ve been lucky enough to snatch a table without a reservation, but I would recommend booking in advance since it’s very popular. The second time they forgot our table and we waited half an hour before we got to order. Then they forgot half our order. They apologized and got us some drinks and dessert on the house, though, so all was good. (Luckily we weren’t in a hurry!) The food truly is amazing here, and I appreciate their vegetarian and vegan options. I will definitely be going back again :)
Really great food and service! We were group of seven people, everyone took the tasting menu, couple of us with matching drinks. Everyone was very happy and enjoyed the servings. Very nice atmosphere. Ive never been in Mexico, but believe this place to be very authentic. Keep up the good job!
Great experience! Amazing authentic Mexican food (which is hard to find in Helsinki), good service and a nice atmosphere which makes you feel almost as if you are traveling abroad for a moment.I recommend the fish & cactus tacos we had, will be back to try the rest of the menu!

Saturday evening restaurant was full but staff managed to squeeze us in. service was friendly even though everyone was busy and we enjoyed a great dinner. extra star for the well prepared drinks, I loved my whiskey sour. great mexican flavours!

Waited for 30 minutes to get even water, added 15min for drinks. Vegetarian option of a taster menu is the same dish but without any protein. Theyll charge you the same though. Extremely disappointing, wouldnt come again.

We were eating with a group of friends, the two of us ordered a portion without coriander. The waitress said she was passing information to the kitchen. When the food arrived, the waitress proudly said there was no coriander in the portions, however, both had it. The number wasn’t impossible now and the semi easily picked them up from it, just laughed at telling quite another.Another wonder was that for four of us the main course was brought on beautiful plates while one of us got our portion on a plastic plate. A bright green plastic plate like that that could be used in kindergarten. Stood out so terribly from the crowd that he couldnt when he laughed.Some of us ordered other drinks, however, it was expected to arrive for over twenty minutes, in the end it turned out that the order was not remembered to be forwarded to the bartender. The food had already been eaten when the matter arose and it was decided to cancel the drinks and leave to continue the evening. However, attempts were made on the invoices to charge for these other drinks as never received, the waitress corrected the invoices and apologized. However, the waitress managed to pin the wrong amount for one payer on the payment terminal and the payment went wrong, I pointed out and the amount was refunded.Overall the place was cozy, the food tasty and the customer service friendly, stupid mistakes when getting away so would be exelente!
We had to sit in front of the front door and there was no room to change the table. Thus, the wind coming from outside in the fall was so cold that we had to dine with the coats on. The waitress refused to close the front door. We moved to another restaurant for dessert for this reason. Food by the way, okay, 3/5.
The authentic South American atmosphere and food was great. Friendly service in Spanish / English. Drink bar really high quality. The two vegetarian-friendly taco exchanges delighted, both good and different. 😊 We will come again! This place is suitable as a dating place, but maybe not for first dates because a bit noisy for a quiet conversation.
The atmosphere was good, it felt like it had been abroad. A wonderful cheer I saw in Corona time. The food was tasty, there were mixed eaters and vegans in our party. Ceviche de coco was great and Tacos al pastor vegano had good flavors. I recommend!

Really delicious dishes, well decorated and served with spicy, very special sauces. Good ka beer of my choice even if I would prefer a bit colder na oh well ... kind, friendly and professional staff (obviously not local). Although the kitchen was closed, they worked hard to get us something more to eat. The place is essential and the prices obviously HIGH !!!
Due to us, our table reservation had been lost somewhere in the bit space. The staff at Punavuori Restaurant handled the situation well and immediately got us a table here at Annankatu Restaurant. We were well served even though clearly we were an extra companion for that moment. Apparently right after us, the whole restaurant was reserved for one group. As usual, the food was excellent and satisfying, perhaps even too much. Will definitely come again! Thank you very much. Tell the greetings to the staff.
I know several taquerias and this is the best by far, artisanal elaboration. The pity is that we do not have it in Spain

We ate with my spouse with tasting menus. The food was just fine, but not worth returning to the restaurant again. I also recommend ordering portions from the list for distribution rather than ordering all of your own menu. That way you get more to eat for the same money, even we were left wondering if it would have been cheaper to buy each food whole and not “tasting” full.
Really good Mexican food and wonderful staff. Also consider the birthday hero with dessert with candles, surprise and unsolicited! After Dinner, it felt like I was on a mini vacation.

Lovely margaritas and cactus tacos! Less good vegan tacos. Good service, nice atmosphere. Corona restrictions are not quite valid (number of customer seats and table distances).
The food was good, of course, but the employees could make a little sense about the childs feelings. We had given the older child a tasting menu and the younger one had another dose. The tasting menu included dessert but not for the younger child. When we finally got the desserts, the youngest kid was given a free dessert that didnt even include two free desserts. The oldest child seemed to be seriously injured. Children should be treated equally regardless of the situation. An older child has complained about this at home several times. I think the worst thing about being the eldest is that a younger child who, I think, gets more from the parents point of view otherwise gets the obvious benefits. I thought to tell you this, so that if any employees reading this read this, they would not make the same mistake again.We also got double the amount of one serving, but we could eat it for free.So the restaurant was absolutely awesome except for this small event.

The waiter brought the wrong margaritas and wondered why someone was ordering a cappuccino at 21:30. Didnt bring the real drinks in place of the marqarari but regretted bringing the wrong ones. The whole restaurant has a strong fat smell. However, the drinks tasted good.
The food was delicious and the portions were the right size! The only minus is that almost all dishes had coriander and was not always mentioned on the menu.
