I shop at Safeway often almost every night. Tonight 10/25/2021 about 9:25 pm my co workers and I went in to get lunch like we always do. The store was fine and we found everything we needed but when we went to check out the cashier Dianne was awful. She had the worst attitude. She scolded every single person in front us as well as us. She scolded the man in front of us for putting his bananas in two bags to keep them protected and he was clearly doing a door dash. He scolded my friend for her container of chicken not having a barcode on it like it was her fault. She clearly does not enjoy her job and needs to find something else. I have never had such a mean and miserable cashier while shopping there. If you can’t be nice don’t be customer service.

The employees fir the most part are very kind and have great customer service skills.. the store us always clean and shelves restocked. Our in the gas station part all employees are fantastic.. Kayla goes out of her way to help customers continuously.

Always love the Safeway deli. Food is always perfect and ready to eat (not being to hot or cold) the customer service is superb as well. Knowledgeable friendly service. They make you feel like your business is wanted,not an annoyance. My only quarrel is sometimes the lines (anywhere in store) can take a little longer than an acceptable time frame. But thats just my thought on the matter.

Safeway is what it is.Not exactly what I wanted on the shelf but hey it’s 2021.Convenient to my house.

This “stupid customer”(loudly exclaimed by the lady at self checkout) is smart enough to know his money spends the same at other stores. Never been so insulted by a service employee in my life. Sorry to inconvenience you by standing in the wrong spot waiting to purchase items.

I know at grocery stores, lines at the checkout can change very rapidly, but I was a little disappointed to see 3 employees chatting with one another while the one and only line was backed up 8 customers long.. I go to Safeway and pay their prices because of the QUALITY and the SERVICE.. but when I see stuff like that, it kinda irks me. I will obviously continue to shop there, I like being able to talk to the butcher and ask for something special.. Thats always been one of the reasons I shop there.. please dont let that service fail by the wayside.. PLEASE!! And thank you for your service! ❤

Its a nice store with a good selection, but their prices are higher than WinCo and Walmart. I like to shop here for certain items that those stores dont carry though. I am disappointed because I was there on the evening of the September 5th and while I was using the self checkout, a store employee who was working there at the front was coughing a horrendous, loud cough. She had a mask on but I still feel like thats totally inappropriate, regardless of what type of sickness she had. She clearly wasnt well enough to be working and she had to come over to check my ID for my purchase. The next day, sure enough, I began to feel sick as well. I understand that things happen and sometimes people feel like they have to work no matter what, but I wish management would not allow anyone to work who is visibly sick and coughing, especially at the front of the store where they will come in contact with so many customers.

Nice layout and lots of selection. Found everything I came for.

A variety of snack and portable food for travelers. No real efforts being visibly seen to address covid. Beautiful flowers. Good drink selection. A little on the expensive end

First let me say that three stars indicates my expectations were met during this visit to Safeway. Nothing is perfect so five stars are hard to get from me. Four stars indicate I was pleasantly surprised by some facet of the experience. When Im disappointed, the rating will lose stars to two, or one, if the experience was quite bad.Im traveling and stopped at Safeway for groceries while on the road. I found the store clean and orderly, good quality for what I was after and the prices easily within reason. That is what I expected so three stars.

Store is always clean and workers are helpful and nice.

Good selection of produce, organic foods, meats, cheeses, and of course the fresh baked bread. Lines always move quickly and Ive never encountered any rude people working there. Parking lot can get cramped at times.

And I got there it seemed like they had a run there was hardly any bread hardly any water on the shelves all the donuts were gone the pastries other than that it wasnt bad but it was really sparse which was shocking for that Safeway usually its just packed but today it wasnt

Most employees are very rude and bias when it comes down to people paying with food stamp and specially WIC they like to belittle customers because they are receiving Government assistance i know from experience. They really need people who are bilingual in the front desk because they are rude to those who cant speak proper English. Really need new management.

Clean and well stocked. Not to crowded. Reason for only 3 stars is only one cashier and the rest was self checkout. Im hate doing a job for free that someone could be getting paid for.

This is a typical Safeway. Its tidy, well maintained and the employees are helpful. It is stocked well, lots of fresh produce at expected prices. The ambiance is comfortable which facilitates an enjoyable shopping experience. This Safeway also has a gas station and is easily noticed in normal traffic.

Some better quality items in produce and dairy. Other than that I believe Walmart has you beat. I still havent found a few products in particular 😩 missing my HEB 😥

The store was well stocked with hard to find items. The staff were friendly. The prices were slightly higher than other grocers in the area.

Moses Lakes Safeway has hot deli Chinese food...Ephrata does not. I would rate it a 3 1/2....decent selection but after 6pm you never know what is left...nothing fancy on flavors but I am amazed that they have walnut shrimp and Im guessing coconut milk sauce. I ha e it every time and is good. Husband likes hot spicey and says the dishes are fair+ heat. But their egg rolls are always terrible tasting when Ive had them! I wont say what they smell like...but they still taste bad...and I dont know how you can ruin a cabbage roll, iam not a finicky eater! The fried rice is good...not greasy or tasting like the metal pan! Ample noodles and ok. Good takeout when you are in a hurry or gotta eat now! Offer taste samples.

Got the worst chicken strips ever, tiny and about 99% breading no chicken in them

Its decent. They usually have what you are looking for. Parking lot is a bit small but you can usually find a spot without having to drive around a lot.

Pick up a birthday cake even though they used the wrong color on the trim that quickly was fixed and turned out Fabulous. The 5 dollar discount was an added bonus Thank Bakery Dept.

Place is so over priced! Im not sure how people afford to shop here. You can get the same product down the street for over half less sometimes! Glad they have Instacart. Other than that just a normal ol Safeway.Update: They have AMAZING Fresh sushi. Prices are great for it!Also they have good cold deli! Salads and everything are excellent!

Found what I needed easily, store is clean and service is friendly.

Safeway has a very nice feeling of service oriented employees who are nice to their customers. And the Starbucks Coffee inside the store is a great alternative when the espresso stands are closed and you need a quick picker-upper!

This is the best place in town to buy things like meat, seafood, fruit and cakes. However, this store is infuriating for about anything else. If you want a quick trip, this is not the place for you. The selfcheck out almost always has a long line and there are limited actual checkers. If you need help, there is limited staff, so its easier to figure things out for yourself. Their prices are more expensive then other places in town. The covid rules are about average. Masks are required. 6 feet is required between patrons. Carts get clean between each preson.

My go to shopping place. The meat and produce is the best.

Super busy but was in and out. Found a bunch of produce out of stock but its Christmas day. Cant be upset about that. Glad they were open.

Must be a great place. Came in for an early by the time we were leaving on a Monday, the place was over half full for lunch! Oh food was amazing. My fried egg on the burger was runny still!!! So exciting. Great beer selection and awesome staff. Thank! PS Want more pretzels!

Always helpful and curtious, great selection of different goods from fresh veggies to fresh meats..to cold sodas to chilled spirits,from hats and sun glasses to Starbucks and lotto tickets Safeway has got you covered for all of your everyday needs..they could work on there prices a little, but then again after your done shopping, you can fill up your tank with gas on your way home at there safe way gas station/mini Mart.

Love the self service checkout. Most employees are pretty nice. Although at Starbucks, yesterday, when I walked up to get my order, a Safeway employee was leaning on that small part of the counter and had no mask on and when I said excuse me, to get my drink, he just stayed put. I do not consider this a family friendly store. It is designed for either rich single people or elderly people. You wont be able to find pastries for a kids party but they do have a wide variety of alcohols. I was not impressed with there cashiers either. It was very unwelcoming.

Safeway in moses lake is a great place to shop... clean stocked and friendly... they even had 70% alcohol in stock for $1.99 nice to see a place that isnt price gouging....

Stopped in for Starbucks.seems like a nice Safeway. Most customers were observing covid-19 precautions, and all employees seemed to be doing so.

Need more workers at customer service.

Some of the baggers need to learn how to bag groceries. My hot dog buns were on the bottom of the bag with bananas on top. They ended up a little smashed. I do not have a picture because we ended up eating them anyways for dinner.

Very poor enforcement of mask rule.Pharmacy staff pleasant and helpful as usual!Pharmacy is poorly stocked, Frequently. I am a longtime customer at the pharmacy. Today I have to go to Walmart to get my prescription. The scant inventory puts an unnecessary burden on the staff.

Sometimes I love Safeway and sometimes I dont. Nothing extraordinary nor terrible about it. Sometimes I get frustrated when they quit carrying items I like and buy, just gives other places more business I guess.

Employees were not wearing masks over their faces _ maybe under their chins or noses. Only 1 wearing it correctly. Rest room was dirty. Employees expressing cavalier attitude toward Covid19. Will not go back.

This store has a great meat department and their deli is awesome. The only thing that I dont like is pricing...the deli and meat department need to get together on their prices...the Crab & Shrimp salad is cheaper in the meat dept.

My Safeway store in Moses Lake. Consistent stellar customer experience. Varieties of grocery items. They have Starbucks inside too. In a hurry or busy? Try their deli selection. They have cooked meals to go too. All the convenience you can find like all the other Safeway stores.

I like Safeway. Its close to my house.. so Im willing to pay more for the convenience because Im LAZY! 🤣😀

Safeway is probably the best grocery store in town. Very clean and well stocked. Nice asian food section too!

Wish they carried Keto ice cream bars.

The liquor is in a locked cabinet, and you have wait for someone to come open it. Other stores in the area dont find this necessary.

My uncle and I went here to get some groceries. The store itself was recently remodeled and reminded me of the one at the Shadle one in Spokane. Only downfall of the store is it took a while to figure out the bandaids and waiting for the self checkout lady to help us out.

Overall really good shopping but higher prices than AZ
