Needed new lawn mower blades but # stamped on the blade was not legible. A technician there was able to reveal it and blades were in stock! Pleasant shopping experience with courteous and professional staff.
Created google profile just warn others. Horrible customer service and business practices. Took in a zero turn club cadet mower that engine had seized. Explained what happened and showed mechanic before pushing it off the trailer. They called me with a quote for the new engine. I told them for that price, I thought I would buy a new one. They said that I would need to pay the $40 diagnostic fee. I asked if they would accept the mower instead, scrapping it alone would of been over $200, not to mention the bagging system that could be sold used for $75. Also brought up without their mark up they could drop a new engine in it and sell it for a good profit. Was told that they do not do work for free and hung up on.I went to the shop, hoping if I explained to management they would see this was a win win for both of us. Turns out it was the owner I had talked to on the phone. They were just as grumpy in person and wanted no part of common sense. They just kept saying that they don’t do work for free. I said no one would expect free work and that they would actually be making much more. Also that usually in customer service you try to work with your customer and we are only talking about $40... no luck. Paid the $40 and let them know they would no longer have my business and I would tell anyone who asked about this pathetic experience.I was so fed up with experience at this point, I told them they could keep the mower and wouldn’t you know, 2 months later it was for sell out front with a new engine and a steep price tag that made them a bunch more money.
They have no idea when it come to parts. Since mine is different than what was show, I asked how to wire up the new part. They had no idea. When I asked to speak with a tech was told we are not a teaching school, if you want it fixed then bring it in. With that attitude Im definitely bringing it else were. Good luck retaining customers in a small local community.
Fantastic sales and repair store! All the people in this store and shop mechanics are awesome. Fast Friendly Top Notch Service! My Toro zero turn mower has never run this good even when it was new. They go way beyond taking care of my needs for service, advice and down home friendliness! Love this place and plan to return here for all future needs in my power equipment.
Just called and needed a motor and got attitude from the woman I spoke with. This business I work for and the business I own will not be doing any business with these people from now on.
I took my lawn mower up there to have a few things fixed on it I supplied the parts and I gave exact instructions on what I want it done thats why I gave them the parts however I asked them they could have it done by a certain day they said they would try but no promises, when I went to go pick up my mower and the only thing that was really done that I asked for was the transmission not the idling issue which is a dirty carburetor that I asked to be cleaned or my spindle rods to my blades which were bent then I had to go mow my yards with its current condition that it was in before I dropped it off and the reason for not replacing the spindles to the blades they said it was because the mechanic didnt recommend it at this time because I was asking for the mower back in a timely matter so I understood what they were saying to make it four times however I even express to them that the transmission was the least of my worries I was just doing that because the one on it was old so you think they would replace with the customer really wants done first it was pretty ridiculous honestly but I didnt say anything I figured no big deal Ill just go about my day fast-forwarding to the near future I take my zero turn lawn mower up there and let me just mention it has quite a bit of problem but I wanted them to see why there was so much vibration with the machine when I turn the blades on they told me over the phone that they think its the Belt I then mentioned I just replace the belt not too long ago do you think it could be something else or do you think maybe we can tighten it see if it makes it a little bit better and she said if there was anything else that we could do we would have already done so I said okay no problem I understand and then I asked her did you guys check all the pulleys I know for sure I replaced all of them except for one its the one thats behind the engine she said no they did not check the pulleys and if you know its the pulley why didnt you just replace it yourself these were not her words however she said that thats what the mechanic told her however the mechanic she was talking about is the owner mr. lawn himself so out of her mouth she literally told me to fix it myself well she said why didnt I fix it myself I was absolutely shocked to hear her say that so I went up there and I went to go pick up my mower because they knew I needed it that day and I figured since the belt isnt going to be in for another week I can just drop it back off when theyre ready so that I can still continue to work well thats not at all what happened when I got there I walked inside and she said that they were pulling it around to the front now and if I wanted to speak with him the (owner) about the issue and see what he says or what he thinks it could be I could do so outside when he pulls the mower around, however when I walked outside he parked the mower over by my trailer got off of it and walk clean past me and didnt say not a word I was absolutely shocked at the unprofessionalism of this business but I understand now not to go there absolute waste of time and money
These people do not even deserve one star. Took a John Deer riding lawn mower in to get a tune up. Told them to call me if there would be any other charges. No phone call and 2 weeks later I get a bill for almost $400.00. I like to give my business to the little guys and so I did not take to John Deer. John Deer has a flat rate of $200.00 and that includes parts and labor and they replace just about everything and do repairs that are part of a tune up. When I told them that they should inform customers of the cost for a tune up. Her response was it is posted that our labor is $60.00 a hour. She then hung up on me. I will say that I was not happy with her and I let her know that. Please tell all your friends to be ware of there business practices. I also called another brand shop and they said it would be no more then a hour labor and cost of parts.

They lost another customer. For the price of a chainsaw chain to be made here from bulk chain, you can buy a bar and chain at North 40. Today I priced a mower deck spindle here, which was $68.99. I ordered an entire rebuild for my deck for the same price. I will never go here again.
Call hangups, always a struggle to find parts, not willing to do some digging to help.
