Metro Self Storage in Mound is a wonderful space. The loading dock is one of the best. The place is kept very clean and well organized. Steve works very hard and does a superb job.

I opted for the non-AC unit and had zero issues with my possessions smelling stale or encountering pests during the half year of storage.Facility is always well maintained and clean (including the bathrooms! Ive been with them for a couple years now and Im very satisfied. the managers especially Steve in the mound or spring Park location is so good and treats me with so much respect its very refreshing.I have upsized I have downsized Ive had questions and he is always made me feel like part of the family and helped me.

The monthly price for space goes up constantly. Almost every three months, girlfriend and I get a new notice. Why!? Its really ridiculous how much they charge. Im close to buying a warehouse condo for what I spend a month here. Look into it. That would be 9 times the space of Mound Metro Storage 10x30. Just waiting for my bonus check for work. Then out of this outrageously priced location. And on to building equity. Not losing a penny to outlandish NYC priced storage fees.UPDATE: Yes, my girlfriend is the signatory. Discus what? How Metro Storage raises the rent every couple months to unaffordable levels? Really idiotic response. I encourage everyone to avoid this place. Go further out a few miles. Get something cheap. this location is more expensive per sq ft than a NYC apartment. Throwing your money away. Oh, they dont allow legitimate negative comments on their own website. Trust? No.

Great service and easy to set up agreement

Used this for my Moms stuff. Very clean and climate controlled. Everything stayed safe and clean. A lot better then a storage place we used.

Nice clean facility. Secure, heated, friendly manager and decent rates. They also sell packing supplies and rent moving trucks. Outdoor boat and RV storage as well.

Great customer service from manager Steve Freese, who thoroughly explained and then showed me the different options available. The rates are comparable to others and its very conveniently located. I appreciate that it is an indoor facility, with good lighting and secure access.

Renters beware! Rates keep going up with no end in sight. On March 22, 2014, my rent was $200.00/month. On March 22, 2015, my rent was $210.00/month. On March 22, 2016, my rent was $233.00/month. On March 22, 2017, my rent will be $259.00/month. Thats a 29.5% increase over the last 3 years. Has your income gone up by that amount????

Once you rent a unit expect continual increases in rent. The rent fee is unregulated and they keep raising it. If you want to throw money away then rent a unit here.
