Im glad I found the Bear Lot to work on my motorcycle. Good motorcycle mechanics are hard to find but you can find one here! They found and fixed a pesky hidden seal leak and now I can finish out the riding season with a dependable bike.Ty was very helpful with everything and very knowledgeable even about my old bike. I would recommend the Bear Lot for any of my biking friends, and I will definitely visit again.

Couldnt say enough about this place. I purchased a used vehicle a month ago and as used vehicles go problems can arise. This company stood by their 90 day warranty and fixed my vehicle quickly and professionally at no cost to me. All their employees were very professional and my salesman Jason all the way to the shop men and women were awesome. The next time I need a vehicle I will be back.

Bought a jeep from this dealership. Day of transaction went okay. Only issue was when I was given the contract to review, the price was different than the advertised price that came over via email. When I mentioned this, Randy asked for proof (totally understandable) and then once shown, reduced the amount he was willing to offer on my trade in. Originally offered to completely pay off (13,465) then dropped it to 13 flat. 465 dollars is not a deal breaker for a large purchase such as this, it’s more the principle of the matter.Once the sale was finalized, I guess there were some documents that I had to sign after. This became a multi month process. At first, I was asked to come in. After telling them it’s a good hour from my work, they offered to mail them to me. I signed and returned the day I received them. I get a call two months later that those documents were not the ones I needed to sign. Then I was called again and asked to come in, this time offering to fill my tank. A very generous offer, which was not acted on when I drove an hour and a half round trip for two signatures.Okay dealership, just doesn’t appear to have their ducks in a row after the original sale. 3/5, would purchase again only if they had the exact specific vehicle I wanted.

Review of the Bear Lot in Mounds ViewMy wife and I were looking for a 10-year-old vehicle in good condition, and high miles wasn’t a big concern as we are both well into retirement and only do local travel. We found exactly what we were looking for at the Bear Lot in Mounds View. The salesman we talked to assured me that even though the miles on the car put it beyond the available warranty, they don’t sell “bad” cars and if we aren’t satisfied with the car, we could return it within 30 days for a replacement.Unfortunately, within a few days the dreaded “Check Engine” light appeared. It was the type that takes a couple days of driving before it re-appears.It took five - repair, drive and fail cycles before the problem was resolved. The last being a major and expensive repair.During each repair event they provided us with an excellent “loaner” car, so we were not inconvenienced.I don’t know how many stars are given for excellent service, but from my experience, the Bear Lot should get an extra one. They turned what could have been an awful experience into one that reminded me that there are still good people and good companies around and I am very happy to have found one.

I called the car lot and a young lady answered. I told her I wanted to buy a car. Heather quickly sent the application via text with a link. I completed the application then submitted it. Within 30 minutes I received a call from Randy. He asked what I was looking for while reviewing my application with me. Randy informed me of his next step which was submitting my application to lenders and would get back to me. Randy called me back within 45 minutes at the most to inform me he had gotten me approved for a vehicle. Mind you I have horrible credit but Randy still came through for me. Did I forget to mention my car note will be $209 per month with a 2 year warranty. This is the smoothest purchase I have ever made when it comes to a vehicle. The whole experience from beginning to end was awesome. Very polite and professional. I am so happy my daughter referred me to Bear Lot. Charles was the salesperson that I sold my vehicle to, and I cannot recommend him well enough. His service was fantastic, he responded to all my questions, and helped me through a ridiculously complicated title transfer process with very little work on my end.He did everything in his power to make the sale go well for me, paying a price that was incredibly fair and possibly above market value, especially for the hoops he had to jump through.Car salesmen are supposed to be friendly, but I believe Charles is genuinely a nice guy who loves what he does.

I had used their web site to look at the motorcycles, and liked one of them. I was really just brousing, but a month later, or so I had an email from The Bear Lot showing a price reduction that interested me as it caught my eye. They were curtious, and I bought it based on being able to trust their business.

Last week I found a car online at The Bear Lot that I was interested in purchasing. I called on Friday evening, right before they closed, to find out whether the car was still available, and was told that they would stay late so I could come check out the car. They were a life saver, I don’t normally write reviews not even for my college professors.I broke down while returning from the cities to the Fargo Moorhead areas. The first service center I walked to could not help but they told me that BEAR LOT was right down the streets from where I was. I called a towed service before I realized I was only 200 feet away from bear lot. The guy charged me a $100, he took advantage of my vulnerability. But bear lot has nice people who who understood my problem and decided to go out of their way to help me fix the alternator problem my they diagnosed. Not to mentioned it was about closing time and I was black. They stayed the extra hour and half or two to order and replace my dysfunctional part. They gave me a discount from the total cost. I will certainly recommend this place because I haven’t seeing such nice people. They saved my from additional expensive, I would have rented a one way car rental and left my car in the cities and I would have to come back to cities to run after my car.

I enjoyed my experience at The Bear Lot.... Only problem I had was.... A friend and an employee told me the oil change was $26... I almost left cuz I drove all the way from Hastings to get it changed... Thats bad business... I ended up just passing the extra and I was satisfied.... But paid $39 at the end.... Idk? Maybe Ill stick to my side of town....

I was searching for a large SUV and Zach was fantastic at helping me get into my Yukon Denali just in time for a key family road trip to love my son back to college.

All in all Bear has been good. They’ve been honest to my knowledge, especially for requests at drop off. I miss the drive-sure program of Rydell, coupons, and how quick oil changes were. I was in and out at 25 minutes with Rydell. Now, I’m at an hour or more.

I have been using the newly renamed Bear Lot for the last few years predominantly for oil changes and smaller maintenance on both vehicles. They are thorough and professional and don’t try to sell you maintenance you don’t want or don’t need. They appear willing to take on random maintenance as well (I.e. a broken Sunroof motor) and have fair prices. Great local place for car service and maintenance.

We have purchased 2 vehicles from them and will come back. Elvis sold them both to us and is wonderful to work with. No pressure, knowledgable and caring. Great selection of vehicles as well. I was selling a 2014 F150 STX Super Crew on Autotrader, received an E-mail from Charles Irwin the Bear Lot in Mounds View that he was interested. Charles was called and was straight forward on an offer so I drove the Truck over and in about 45 Min I walked out with a very decent check of what I wanted for the F150. There was no games, he was honest on how he came up with the offer that we both agreed on. I had experience with two other Dealerships that where not up front and actually insulted me on what they offered, I know BS when I hear it. I enjoyed working with Charles Irwin and the Dealership, give it a try, they seem like helping you and your satisfaction is a concern to them.

Let’s talk about customer service! Usually a sore subject for a lot of people. Not this guy today. Elvis helped me today and he took the LONG time and effort to see what he could do for me and I thought I would be driving out of there in my previous vehicle, or some old junker they had in the back of the garage that no one wanted. He jumped through the hoops and was incredibly helpful in the process. I ended up leaving there with a nicer vehicle than I would have ever thought I was going to get. I’m very happy and satisfied with the service from The Bear Auto!

I enjoyed this lot more when it was owned by Rydell. I had purchased a car from this lot a few years ago but it was unfortunately totaled. When I went to look at vehicles online I found a few contenders so I went to see them to find that they were at different lots; This was not indicated on the website. They had offered to bring them over to the lot but they didn’t get the car over until over four hours later. When I was contacted about the car while looking at different car lots the sales person was rather rude when he learned that I was looking at different lots. It left a bad taste in my mouth after buying cars from this lot when it was owned by Saturn.

Highly recommend Jason! He kept me in mind and notified me of cars he thought would be a good fit. The first car we looked at, Jason allowed us to take it to our own mechanic and keep it overnight before purchasing it to have it inspected. We ended up going with a 2010 Toyota Corolla that was in very good mechanical shape and I feel awesome about my decision to buy my used car at Rydell. EDIT- review still holds true!I saw these other great reviews so we decided to try Bear Lot. Idk if new ownership is to blame, but everyone there was rude, and had their own work to do. We stood in the lobby for 10 minutes before anyone said hello. We had a 1pm appt, finally talked to someone at about 1:25. They make lots of big promises, but they cant deliver. Poor communication, uninterested staff. I would go somewhere else if youre in the market. They are not what they advertise.

Oddly enough to say that the cars were decent but the customer service with the sales manager and agents can be worked on with more efficient behavior towards helping a customer process their decision.

Even though The Bear Lot is the new name for what was formerly Rydel Auto, I still received great service. I have been spoiled for several years paying only the $20 price point for an oil change, so having it be $20 more was a little unexpected. They were still thorough, and let me know other concerns they had discovered about my vehicle. The service center staff also informed me what they could do in relation to those other concerns: my brakes and an oil leak. They answered my questions, and provided me with info regarding the next steps I needed to be taking in order to resolve those concerns. Due to the thorough care and courtesy of the staff, I will continue to return to The Bear Lot for future vehicle maintenance... Possibly over that of my dealership lot...🙄

Terrible people, scammed my 73 year old grandma out of her perfectly fine 2004 Saturn ion with a single bad shock and gave her 500$ for her car which was in very good condition, for a “slightly used” 2015 Hyundai and started charging her exorbitant charges and fees and taking her hard earned cash from her billfold and expects her to pay 3x what it’s worth, if you value your dignity do not go to this circus full of clowns. And they don’t even bother helping me to find out who owns it so I can get in touch with them about the car That’s Rydell Auto for you folks
