I absolutely cant say enough about the professionalism and transparency of Yarnells. I had to deal with a faulty battery from Pep Boys and a problematic odometer reading device from Metromile. Ed Yarnell was not only able to assess the situation but clarify and rectify it. He was patient and willing to talk to the other companies on my behalf, I never felt rushed, he always explained the situation clearly and had time for my questions. I only wish I could give more than 5 stars. In addition this family-owned company supports local schools.

This place is the best. Period. I found them because Im an Uber driver, and one day I transported an elderly female passenger who sincerely mentions to me how these guys are the most honest mechanics in town. Generally, riders dont normally raise the integrity of a mechanic in conversation, if anything they might bring up the complete opposite, but it turns out She was absolutely correct.

Ive been going to Yarnells for almost 40 years. They are very good at what they do. Never over charging by doing unnecessary repairs. I generally follow some preventetive maintenance they recommend, and Ive never been stuck on the side of the road thanks to these guys. Ive kept most of my cars to run 200K+ miles. Cant say enough good things about these guys.

I have been taking both our familys cars to Yarnells for the last 15 years. They are very good and reasonably priced. Recently I took my car in for a large repair and when I got there neither the mechanics nor the person at the desk had masks on. I told them I did not feel safe coming in. I was thinking maybe they would put on masks. Nope! So I walked out and took my business somewhere else. As a customer I need to feel safe working with them. I likely will not go back to Yarnells.

It seems rare to find an honest car service these days.My sons old car had engine check light turned on. We went to a brand-name auto-service, and they wanted to charge us $170 for diagnosis before even checking-in. Our official auto dealer (Toyota) was even worse, ($210 to diagnose before even starting, in the prior time it happened).We decided to pass and take note of the web ratings of shops in the area. Based on these ratings, we didnt even try to negotiate with Mike @ Yarnell. We just left the car there, and he passed our test with flying colors:1) First, he was completely transparent: zero charge for diagnostics. Gave us the diagnostic code P0340 and explained its meaning (catalytic converter low efficiency, which is totally expected in old, high mileage cars).2) Did a thorough safety inspection, gave us full detailed report of minor issues - nothing urgent to fix.3) Complete oil change we also asked for4) Undercharge us for labor. Extremely reasonable price.5) Gave us a good feeling saying that the car is overall in good condition for its age and mileage, and nothing to worry about .Thanks you, Mike and crew. Wish there were more shops like you. Youve earned our trust.

When my van broke down on my way home, they not only helped me get it towed to them, but asked if I needed a ride back to the shop. Honest and awesome service. Ive been coming here for a year, and they are exactly what I wanted. Honest, affordable, and competant.I just came in with a number of problems, and they did a lot of testing for free, including head gasket test, brake inspection and brake lube, and diagnostics. The prices were fair. When I declined the major repairs, they were totally cool with it. They value long-term relationships. Definitely coming back.

Yarnells is awesome. I have a 2007 Lexus LS460 which I love but would not be able to afford the repairs if not for Yarnells. They do great work and have always been fair and reasonable. So much so that for the past 20 yrs I base my new car purchases on the brands of cars they work on. All the guys there are honest. Believe me...if they say you need it.... Then get it done. I have never been upsold something I don’t need. Five Stars!

I have been going there since 2009. Excellent service.In 2009 Pep boys changed the brakes and tires on my Sienna and that ended up with vibrations that they could not fix. Yarnell was so committed to finding the problem they test drove it for about 55 miles and found that the rear brake drums installed were faulty. They installed new rear drums fixed the problem. They now service Hondas too.

They are clear in setting expectations, dont exaggerate any problems in your car, also give real advice on whether you need to, say, change some parts now or can wait a little longer. These guys are for real. I thought I called them to make an arrangement following a recommendation I received. But when I arrived this morning, I discovered that I called a wrong garage. If you called yesterday, we would have told you that we were full for the next two weeks. But Trever not only listened to my explanations and patiently answered my questions, he also squeezed my job in. Their quote was even lower than that from a corporate owned center that I often use and that I had planned to go the day before hearing about them. Additionally, their door-to-door shuttle is the most efficient garage ride I have ever used - I was on the very minute paperwork finished. I would definitely use them more.

Super great help for me - a different shop did work on my transmission going AGAINST the dealer recommendation and put wrong fluid in - I didnt know it. I called Yarnells for a basic service, but in talking things over - the tranny thing came up. He advised me. Fix it! I confirmed what he said through independent research. (being unsure if one shop told me one thing and another said something else) YARNELLS was right. I was able to get a REFUND from the bad shop and took my car to Yarnells to have it repaired. They did great and now my car shifts better. THANK YOU.

Yarnells is da bomb. Have lost track of the number of times i have gone in suggesting it is time to do some repairs (timing belt, water pump etc.) and their tech nonchalantly says - Youve got a Brand X, they typically have a much longer life. Come back when you actually have a problem and well take a look then. The guys never seem to discount their prices with sales our coupons or offers. You come in for value and walk out with trust.
