Dollar Tree is a great place in terms of value and selection. Especially when it comes to holiday items. So I do wish I could rate it higher.That being said. The stores can get very crowded and this store has some of the worst customer service Ive experienced. Ive had multiple issues with the cashier Sylvia. I guess its a You get what you pay for situation.

Quite possibly the rudest cashiers on the entire planet. Check your receipt - they tend to scan the same item twice - seems like a scam for a little pocket money for the cashiers. Also the store is filthy

Pretty nice side store looks like they had a lot of stuff people buy some of the shelves are completely bare only one worker there but he was fast I wasnt long of a wait cant beat the price

Hey well its Dollar Tree. You dont go for service. But this one is particularly bad. No refrigerated section so keep that in mind. Also chronically understaffed for years now.It can be messy and usually seems busy.During school season its a total nightmare in the afternoon when school gets out because there is a school on the backside of the building. Parents take up all the parking picking up kids and tend to camp out and jabber away with each other while people wait for parking. A kid at these timesIn fact unless your like meal and know the deals..like $1 for brand name items that are $3 or more at grocery stores...dont bother.There are rwal brand names but a lot of oddball stuff and often the off brands arent worth it...especially things like cleaning products--including brushes and sponges...all bad. But you knew this...

Good selection of items but they really need more cashiers.

Great place for all sorts of cards and party goods. They also have serving platters and gift paper and gift bags and ribbon.

The people that work there were extremely friendly but, it was way too crowded especially for a Wednesday and the store is kind of small and they were out of stock on a lot of stuff

Smaller location, but they have some good stuff. Basic dollar tree, no refrigerator or freezer section except for the drink coolers in the front.

Slow Cashiers, long lines, Manager with Attitude- Silvia (wearing no name-tag) has many snide remarks towards customers at the register regarding their item choices and much more. Ask for help finding items in the store and youll receive a response We may have it somewhere, youll have to look. Expect the worst and double that before arriving. Hospitality is non-existent at this location.

This location is constantly understaffed, understocked, and crowded. Though staff are friendly, its frustrating when theres a 15-person deep line for check out and the only cashier is helping a customer choose and fill balloons.

The most widespread dollar store chain here, if you want some reliably cheap stuff, this is a good bet. Dont expect perfection of course, and keep in mind some of the stuff here is not worth the dollar.Other than the inexpensive seasonal decorations, I dont get surprised much by what is in stock, a lot of the items are regulars, which is good if that is what you are after.Shopping for the deal isnt so much a thing here, at least not from what I could tell. But inexpensive items are, well, inexpensive here, and in times where money can be scarce, this is always appreciated.

Has everything I need but the store is quite messy and dirty. Dirtier than most dollar stores compared to San Jose and Redwood City. Visited the store on Saturday at 815 am. Staff was very polite!

The place was ok.The manager was lousy...She would not let me use the bathroom for a few minutes, even though I was spending $85 at the store.I had to go pee in a nearby parkIt was ridiculous

I was helped by Giselle today great customer very convient she made sure I was ready to pay. At the register I was done fast she is a fast scanner as well. I enjoy coming to the store or this location.

Interesting what one may find

I think this is the saddest DT Ive visited. It is tiny and a total mess. Isles with unopened boxes, it felt dirty and super disorganized. The inventory is poor and it feels crowded.

Im glad this store is in our neighborhood. They have so many useful items for a small fraction of the price. Party supplies, small toys, balloons and other simple items. Every neighborhood can sure use a Dollar Tree.

I mean I liked it and I been going here for awhile. They could do more but there’s a certain charm to it that makes me feel at home. As well as there is stuff that’s useful and cheap.

Love, love, love! Clean, neatly arranged store with a variety of brand names for $1. You would think the food and drinks here are suspect (I did originally), but I found some wonderful items. Everything from household products, to books, to food/drink, to cutlery/bowls/plates/cups, this place has everything for a fraction of the price elsewhere. Cant believe I have never been to a Dollar Tree before this. Absolutely impressed!

In a good location, nice selection of the standard dollar-store items -- I usually go to pick up seasonal decorative or party planning items. They also have a nice selection of household goods (plates, containers, bathroom supplies, etc.) and canned food items/water. Lines can get very long, but moves relatively quickly.

Less than a 🌟, look at this garbage store. The dirtiest place around what do they do with the food?

Very rude staff. Cashier did not speak to me except to tell me the total. While the previous male customer had a full conversation with her. The other cashier was rude to the lady asking for balloons. Poor customer service all around.Horrible parking. I had to park a block away from the store.

Shop near your home for simple needs. The guy on the counter is friendly and starts a conversation with pretty much everyone who gets in the store. Store itself is not that great but hey, this is dollar tree - you expect cheap stuff here not great ambiance. This is good for its worth.

Good prices. I went to pick up some toothpaste (Ultrabrite) and wound up as a franchisee.

Pretty surprised by the positive reviews. Perhaps it was just that particular day that I went in, but I found the selection really limited and one of the cashiers was quite rude to a mother with small children. Lines were long and there were only 2 cashiers there to assist. Again, perhaps an off day? I definitely prefer the Dollar Tree in Santa Clara.

Its a dismal atmosphere I really do not like doing here but sometimes I have no choice cuz I want to pick up some cheap earbuds or something like that but Ive been other Dollar Trees that are much more pleasant clerks are happy but this one seems so sad and dismal

One of the better dollar stores I have been to. There are useful items here for a dollar that are pretty hard to find elsewhere even in Walmart for that matter. Good for low value gifts, storage boxes in plastic, kitchen mugs, home and auto cleaning accessories.

Customers? Who needs customers? Needs some training on what customer service means. Once went in and needed a shopping cart, but they only had four and all were being used by employees stocking shelves. Wouldnt give us one. Another time, went in on a Saturday morning to pick-up a few six-packs of bottled water for an outing. They were out, but restock was literally on the truck being unloaded in the back (I could see the water in the truck). Went to ask the employee at the truck if she would get some water off the truck for me. She said no, and just continued to stand there visiting with her daughter, who apparently just had a life-changing event that was so important as to interrupt her mother at work (got her nails done). Anyway, there are only a handful of items in there that are truly good values. Most are either reduced sizes for the dollar cost or questionable generic brands.

You need to put up a warning sign in your craft area / next to the Spanish moss bags. I purchased a bag earlier tonight (from a big box of Spanish Moss) and it had a huge light brown spider in it....I didnt notice it until I opened the bag and about five minutes later, it was crawling out of the bag. It was literally the size of an adult tranchula. Seems funny but Im allergic to spiders and had a severe panic attack.When I told an acquaintance of mine who uses it often, she said its pretty common for spiders to be inside bags of Spanish Moss. For someone who has never bought it before, I didnt know that and customers should be warned.I gave it two more stars because I spoke to the manager this morning and the manager was really apologetic and apologized a few times and said that theyre going to let the merchandising department know what happened and will check out the other bags.

Its an average-sized Dollar Tree store. Line was long however.

The lines are ALWAYS long at the Dollar Tree. I gave 5 stars because the 2 gentlemen that work there are excellent in customer service. The usual man is always telling jokes and keeping everyone entertained. 👍

Lots of great buys especially for throwing kids or holiday parties. Great quality decorations and $1 mylar balloons sold here! Most staff is very nice.

Great selection and everything is a dollar. They even have milk here. Mountain View has the small drink refrigerators, but no freezer or refrigerator foods. Employees are all helpful and nice.

I like it here, the store is always clean and stocked well. Staff is friendly but sometimes they dont pay attention or take their time. Parking lot is annoying though, for some reason I always struggle to find a parking spot.

Everything goes for a dollar.

It would be a 5 but the cashier who has been there forever (older Philippino? lady) is rude. She never says hello, smiles, talks to you, looks at you or says thank you. She also just throws your items in a bag, doesnt even try to put them up right if its a liquid. Sometimes while I stand in line people will comment on her and say the same thing. Ive even asked an employee who was stocking one day and she agreed with me. Not sure what kind of pull she has on that store to still be there!

Frindly customer service atmosphere, but to cluttered to many things everywhere.. Not enough workers or register workers... But I gotta give it to the girls that I see on every time I come in there! They really deserve a $raise!!!

Who does not love Dollar Store? That said, the store is kind of messy with the aisles crowded with boxes. I couldnt get a whole bunch of things that are usually available in other dollar stores. The parking is fantastic and it is right near Srasas kitchen.

Lines can get long but other then that. Alot of choices to get some good stuff. But this one doesnt have a freezer with food like other dollar trees. :)

Never again am I throwing away money to Safeway, CVS and Rite Aid for at least 90% of the basic stuff I use day to day. Climbing on up Dollar Tree is where Ill be!

I always end up with the rudest cashier. She flat out refuses to bag all items, she will leave some of them on the counter and start ringing the next person. Or she will hand my toddler purchases. Maybe that was a special toy for later, or maybe even for a different child. I legitimately do not understand why she even works here. If you dont want to bag purchases dont work retail.

Service was great, cheep place to buy toiletries and stuff... Bathrooms were out of order again though...

There is a man in this store who keeps on repeating all your words and keeps shouting al the time. But he is a good person. Overall its a small dollar tree store.

Be careful if you guys use your debit card. Make sure you review and get your receipt because next thing you know you have a cash back when you really did not get or authorized any cash back transactions.
