HORRIBLE business - not only did they fail to fulfill an order, try to charge an extra $70 for a special order even though they already came out to measure, and not call to notify us of any updates for five days, but they manhandled my 80-year-old father, pushing him out the door when he requested a receipt and causing him to hit his head. A police report was filed, and Tri-City lied about the incident. DO NOT GO HERE!
No thrills and got the job done in a very reasonable time frame.
I have never written a review, good or bad, on anything but I feel the need to do so for the first time. I dont want others to receive poor service and lose money when there are many more reputable businesses out there. My contractor recommended I go with Tri City Glass to install our shower door in the master bathroom. He mentioned the owner can be a bit of a fiery guy, but did decent work at a competitive price. My first impression was nothing out of the ordinary, but once the project completed that is when our problem started. Two weeks after installation we noticed the shower door wasnt level and closing properly. The door and the shower panel werent lining up allowing water to escape making the shower unusable. In addition, the rubber seal that was applied to the bottom of the door was too big, scratching our new tiles, and it wasnt allowing us to open/close the door unless we used a great deal of force. My mother couldnt move the door and I could barely do it and Im a 40 year male.I left Kevin, the owner, a voicemail describing the problem, but did not hear back from him. One..two..three voicemails and an e-mail over a month go by without him responding. When I finally get through to him using a different phone number he proceeds to curse me out for bothering him and hangs up. To him, the project was complete and there was no need for customer service since I had already paid him. Two weeks was too long for him to care anymore. Needless to say, he never came back to fix the problem. Afterwards, I did some additional research thru Yelp and noticed other had similar experiences with him. If I had only checked his credentials/reputation beforehand I would have known better. Anyway, please do your due diligence if you decide to work with Kevin and Tri City Glass. It was a lot of money we spent for not having a completed projected.
