Been there two times . Never had a good experience though staff was helpful. FedEx charges almost more than double of what UPS generally charges for the same services esp for printing . I was not aware of that . FedEx charges .65 cents for a b/w print while UPS charges .16 only ( 4 times ). Internet though if one uses only for a minute to download docs then all the time one takes to print will be counted as using internet . Color printer gives error so it is going to take some time . So better ask store person to do it and check estimates.

Regularly using the self-service area for printing/scanning/copying. Never had a problem that could not be solved, I always got my stuff done. However, I sometimes had to wait quite some time to get somebody to fix an issue with the printer (e.g. empty paper).I cant say anything about other services they offer.

The simplest shipping tasks are beyond them, random people are surfing the internet on the printing computer which clogs up actual shipping tasks, and they’re constantly experiencing technical difficulties and system errors. I spent 2 hours with three staff members trying to simply create a prepaid return label and after giving up and being completely shocked by the level of incompetence, I drove to UPS (on Castro street) where they very professionally and easily handled it in 5 actual minutes, and for a cheaper price. Save yourself the headache and drive straight to UPS you guys.

I sent items worth $500 to India which cost me $214 in shipping charges and it was never recieved. I wasnt even given a refund on the shipping cost. Didnt expect this from a carrier like Fedex.

Self service copying didn’t work for me, wrong paper size and then wrong orientation was chosen. The person behind the counter made copies for me and took the other charges off my credit card. He was kind and courteous. Highly recommend.

I really dislike going to FedEx. And this one is worse than most. Terse service people and constant negativity from them. I only come here because the company I work for has a deal with them. While they’re not perfect by any means, UPS blows these guys out of the water for service and usability in all aspects.Anyway definitely would avoid this location unless it’s your only reasonable option.

The man behind the counter provides the most top class A grade customer service amongst all the Fedex locations I’ve ever visited.Both times I’ve been there he was nothing but professional and extremely helpful. I see that other reviewers have had a bad experience with another rep behind the counter, but I think they may have stepped up their game after those reviews, because my experience was worth giving the reps there every single one of those 5 stars in my review.

This is regarding their print services. With coronavirus raging the world I haven’t been able to access my work printer or the public library printer either. So I came here and it was really simple because I could print from my USB and pay for my print without interacting with a retail person.I’m comparing this easy unremarkable experience to UPS where there is always a line to do anything whether it be print or drop off etc. Furthermore in my infuriating experience with UPS, UPS adds these “hidden” fees on top of their services such as a computer fee for printing from their computer or an admin fee for printing color prints (which you aren’t able to print from a USB drive although you can with B&W)

Dishonest business. Attempted to drop off a package, with prepaid FedEx shipping label. Staff refused to accept it, saying my packaging didnt live up to their standard. Wanted to sell me packaging service. I turned around and dropped off at nearby Office Depot. Everything worked fine.TLDR: Office Depot around the corner is also authorized FedEx partner.

If I could give them zero stars I would. They will not sell me FedEx boxes because I did not come in to have them ship it for me which is extra money for them. I am a Fed ex customer and have been for many years but 25 boxes was too many to give to a customer and not just give but I was purchasing them so...I would recommend going somewhere else for sure.

Best printing experience in a long time. I arrived at the very last minute on a Saturday evening before closing. They let me use the computers for 10+ mins just so that I can find the actual document I was going to print. When the two printers I send the printing requests had some issues they printed my 15 page document on a high quality paper in color for free. Finally they waived the computer use fee as well. You cannot ask for anything else I guess.

Great place to ship and pick up packages!Ive come several times to pick up a package, but the last visit I came around 9:20 pm to ship Christmas gifts to different parts of the U.S. All of the times have been very pleasant. This past time, Rex, the staff member who assisted me with the shipping, was cheerful and courteous. He assisted me while also helping one other patron who had come before and was completing a poster printing. Within 10 minutes of arriving, I had two orders labeled and on their way to their destinations.

I spent over $200 on misc. Items at a store in salinas for a work party and after the partybi realized I bought too much stuff and had 4 items to return. I was told that if I had receipt I could go to any fed ex to return items . So I went in this store and there was a older asian lady working. And was so rude and would not help me and refused to return my items and acted like i stole items . I waa so embarrassed and never trrated so rudely in my life. Needless to say i called corporate just to get facts on return policy with receipt and I am able to return to any store . Today I will be returning my items and doing my best to make sure this lady loses her job.

My boyfriend had a horrible experience here a few months ago, so I had fairly low expectations coming in today - but Im so glad I did so I can say that theyve gotten rid of their old staff, and replaced them with much, much nicer people. Their new assistant manager, Carley, was polite, courteous, and incredibly helpful in getting my packages ready for shipping. Their other staff seemed to also be helping customers leave with a smile. Really glad to have used their shipping service today and will be back in. :)

They are refusing to deliver my package after a single attempt, and are requiting me to come pick it up. If I had the ability to transport it I would not have had it delivered! This company has failed to deliver well over half of the packages that were sent from them. If I could I would make sure no one used Fedex to send me things.

I usually went there to scan documents and take printouts. Only 2 scanners in self section. Luckily one free when I was there. I saw people spending too much time on the scanner machine for a time pass and nothing doing. Otherwise its a good store. Very friendly staff. They are willing to answer our questions and doubts. Lots parking space in that complex. You can get some of the office items here.

The staff did not understand the working system of their company. Entering the Chinese postal code in the system is unrecognizable. After I found the correct way to enter the Chinese address, the staff was not only unwilling to try, but also refused. Until I personally demonstrated the correct approach on my mobile phone. I have been there for more than an hour and I have been looking for a way to enter the code, and the staff is going to serve other people. The attitude is disappointing and uncomfortable.

Would have left zero stars if it were an option. Called to ask if they offer full service printing I was told yes same day. However, upon arrival It would take six days as they are shorthanded and someone would have to be standing there feeding the copies through the printing machine and it would take a long time.

I visit this store a couple of times a month to have copies made using the toner ink from their machines. I also have card stock cut which is an uncommon request and Im positive it can be a real pain too because Ive done it myself.Each time the staff has been very cool and Ive seen them manage the size-able workload as professionally as possible. I do see plenty of customers who prefer huffing and puffing over patience and thats about all I can say thats negative about the place.The other customers can really suck sometimes.

Came in to print some documents. Was expensive. They did not print properly, and the sliding cutter was in disrepair and could not cut straight. Project failed, no way to correct the issue. The workstations are so locked down and the printing software is so terrible you cant properly edit or check your files. Overall terrible experience, would avoid this shop and go to a real one for printing.At least there was a refund, though it was a waste of time.

The negative reviews must have come from people that were themselves negative. I gave the staff a difficult assignment (scanning an architects drawing and then enlarging it to conform to an exact scale). It was exactly correct, and took them a lot of time to do. and no grumbling---Only negative is that there is not enough staff to get things done quickly. There was quite a line behind me.

The worst printing experience ever in my life. 1) Horrible WiFi!!! 5 mins to load one letter sized page file from Google Drive for the self printing...I spent 1 hour to print it by myself. 2) Quality of printer is SO bad. It includes yellow markings at the end of each page. So, I asked the helper to cut the part so that I dont have to spend another hour. However, the helper ruined my printed copies by cutting more than the margin. 3) cut the content texts. So, I had to go through the process again another couple of hours since there is no way they can help me. So FRUSTRATED

Failed to prepare the research poster Id ordered, which was necessary for a class presentation that day. They proceeded to print it quickly and cheaply (it looked awful). This took so long that I was running late to class and had to park my bike in a sketchy bike lot. I locked it up, but it still got stolen. I think Fedex owes me a bike.Also, they didnt refund my rush fee, even though they hadnt rushed the order. They also didnt refund the expensive paper and printing process Id ordered even though they ended up using the cheap printing process.I was about to go get something printed today, when I remembered this happened last time I went. Now Ive decided to leave a review instead and print my stuff at home. In black and white. Its not worth going back to this place.

I came here because I was sent on a huge printing errand and Adrian was so incredibly helpful, treated us so well, went through the steps with us and took his time even though I must have asked him about 100 questions and for 4 different but very similar samples of the job. I tried two times to print out my visa related stuff in the self-service area. It didnt connect to my dropbox account. The option with retrieval code failed due to an non expected error message several times and the online document storage didnt accept my credentials although they were correct. Not a recommended location. Try office depot.

Ive been to this FedEx many times, for one reason only: convenience. There arent a lot of other, better copy-and-print places in Mountain View. But that doesnt mean this is a good option. On the contrary, Ive had a bad experience pretty much every time Ive come here. Some examples:(1) No matter the time of day or day of the week, you almost always have to wait for a staff member to help you... sometimes for quite a few minutes. So dont come here if youre in a hurry.(2) Ive printed full-color conference posters here about 4-5 times, and something ALWAYS goes wrong with the poster. At least the price is OK and the turnaround time is reasonable (usually less than 24 hours). But several times, their software garbled some aspect of the PDF, such as resizing a text box or changing a transparency setting. I didnt even think that was possible with PDFs... isnt consistency the whole point of a PDF, as compared to other file formats? And yet, they keep messing it up.Most recently, my poster printed incorrectly (with text running off the bottom) in the large format, but the exact same PDF file printed correctly in the 8.5x11 color handouts. Truly baffling. I dont know what kind of software they use, but it keeps messing up my PDFs, and the overworked, undertrained staff never seem to notice.Another time, my poster got printed out with large white margins all around. I asked them to please trim the margins to 0.75 before giving it back to me. The employee (Tim) trimmed three of the four margins to 1... and, inexplicably, the remaining margin to 0.35. Once you cut it, you cant put it back.(3) Their scanning technology is horrible. The desktop / scanner combination is slow and buggy. It recently took me about an hour to scan about 50 pages, and at $0.55 per minute, that adds up pretty quick. I wasnt even done, but the scanner crashed, and the staff didnt know how to fix it. There was another scanner, but it had also crashed some time previously, so that workstation was also disabled.One of the staff members then directed me to the combined copier/printer/scanner, so I thought Id give it a try. The UI and scanning options were horrible; for example, there was no option to Scan as B&W document to reduce file size. It seems to be intended for photos only. I scanned one B&W book page, which produced a useless 6 MB file with an enormous black margin all around. When I hit Start Over, the system crashed. And then I had to wait more than five minutes for an employee to help me, just to answer the simple question of whether I was free to leave or whether my credit card was going to be charged for nothing.I think Ive had about enough of this place... Im going to start going to UPS on Castro Street instead.

DO NOT LET THEM PACK! Very sloppy and incompetent staff! My bike was shipped with no protection to cover the parts. It arrived with one axle bent and components scratched. I couldnt even put it back together. My glassware were packed together in a single bag and shipped like that. Of course they hit each other and broke during transit. The staff did a very sloppy job securing these items.

Place is made for self serve. The only problem is that for people who dont ship packages all too often, walking in the store makes you feel lost. Customer service is pretty cold up until the point where you get someone to actually talk to you. If your able to get someones attention, then your golden and youll be helped quickly.

The staff here including the manager is very unhelpful. I went to ship a package that had fragile on it and they wanted me to but a bubble wrap for it. I told them that I am shipping a device that was being returned exactly in the same box I received packed exactly the same way and they wont just take the package without me wrapping it in a bubble wrap. When I asked for the manager he said manager is on a break though she just asked me a question before she went away in the back office. The number of one star reviews at this place is not surprising. I would recommend another Fedex place if you want to be not disappointed with the service.

On a recent Sunday morning, I attempted to use the Mountain View FedEx Office to print 8 PDF pages (24 x 36). I waited in line for 15 minutes to get service. The pages were printed in less than 5 minutes, and then I waited 20 minutes to pay. Unfortunately, the pages were printed in a smaller size than requested--the FedEx employee offered to reprint the pages, but I could not spend any more time on this project.There were 10 or more customers in the store, far more than a single employee could serve. FedEx management is being unfair to both its customers and its employee to allow such a situation to exist. This is terrible customer service--it is the fault of management and staffing, not the employee.This is not the first time that I have experienced slow service in this location. I will only do future business in this location if there are no other alternatives.I would rate this experience at zero stars if the rating/review service would permit such a rating.

Stuff was awful! I was needed to send document with return label and they told me to do it by myself, cause they can not to add return label. When I was needed in help to create this label by myself, they even couldnt help me with that. Finally they closed and I had to finish and print all by myself.BTW: web ui awful too!!!
