Just purchased a somewhat hard to find 4runner venture edition. This was without a doubt the easiest vehicle purchase Weve ever made. David Ruhm was great to deal with from beginning to end and went above and beyond for myself and my wife. Everything was exactly as discussed. Mike Ambler the Finance Director was a joy to deal with as well. Both of these gentlemen took incredible care of us and directed us away from a couple options that would have cost us a few extra dollars but not benefited us in any way what so ever. I will without a doubt look to Toyota of Muncie for all future Toyota purchases.

Our experience with the sales and financing departments was AMAZING!!! That being said, we have had to deal with the service department twice since we purchased our Tacoma, once to fix the horn, which we were aware needed fixed when we purchased the truck and a second time to have a new smart key programmed to the truck, because the original one fell off and was now missing and only one came with the truck when we purchased it. Every time we have had to deal with the service department we receive either incorrect information, not all required information, which then causes delays in getting things taken care of. My most recent encounter with the service department, I received multiple price quotes, procedure requirements, required documents, and explanations of what was needed to get a new smart key for my Tacoma, I was not told initially that I needed to have the truck towed to the dealership (which caused a day’s delay in getting the smart key programmed, and then finally, when I went to pick the truck up after having the new smart key programmed, when I pulled into the dealership lot, my Tacoma, was not even parked in a parking spot. It was literally parked in the middle of no where, near the entrance, to where if someone pulled into the lot and was not paying attention, could have easily hit the back end or the bed of the truck. Needless to say, in the future, I will not taking my truck to this Toyota service department for any type of service or repair, I will be taking it to a different Toyota dealership for maintenance. Bottom line, sales and financing department - AMAZING!!! I would recommend for purchasing.Service Department - NOT so amazing!!! I would NOT take my vehicle here for service.

My girlfriend brought our 2018 Tacoma here for a p11ec(cylinder #1 air fuel ratio imbalance). Which is semi common on the 3.5.Well they diagnosed it as bad fuel. They literally wrote, fuel visually watered down, and doesnt smell as strong on the diagnosis. At this point Im a little disappointed they didnt taste it, just to be really sure. Then wanted $600 to drain the tank and add 5 gallons. I told my girlfriend not to let them touch the truck. So she paid the $100 inspection fee and left.Took it to another dealer, they tested the fuel, not by smell, sight or taste, but actually tested it.... fuel was fine. Low compression cylinder 1 and its being covered by warranty.If she had let toyota of Muncie mess with the fuel she would be out $600. Instead she is just out the $100 they stole and called it an inspection

I recently purchased a Toyota Camry, I love the car! Unfortunately the key I was given doesn’t work and I was only given one key, when I asked if there was a way to get the key fixed and to have an extra key I was told that was not possible. My paper plates expire next week and after asking several times when the paperwork will be done so I can register the car I’m given an answer to quiet me up and still to today no paperwork to register my vehicle has been done.

No doubt the person performing this task was quite knowledgeable however, pushing numerous buttons like a concert pianist playing Bach was far beyond the ability of a person who can only play chop sticks. I could very easily have integrated a hyperbolic function in the interval 0-6 and said see isnt it easy, now you can do it

I had my best car buying experience ever. I was directed to Toyota of Muncie by Costco auto purchasing. David Rhum dispensed with the chit chat (appreciate that) and searched for my exact desired specs in the Midwest region. He made certain I got the best deal possible. I ordered a RAV4 Hybrid. He kept in touch with updates and sent a video the day it came in. The dealership is very clean and people are quick to assist on arrival.

Visited today, cash in hand to buy a car. Salesman showed us a new 4 Runner that was coming in, sticker $45k. He joked that would be the price because his sales manager does not believe in upcharging on the sticker price. We asked to see a used one so we could drive and compare. It had 14,000 miles but we instantly liked it and thought we would be able to make a deal. We saw the original sticker for $49,700 in the glove box so we asked the price. Salesman came back and said $55,000!! For a year old car that stickered for $49K!! We mustve looked like easy or dumb targets for this bunch! Beware of this dealer!

Im 65 and bought a lot of cars over the years so I was expecting the run around just like the times before. My credit isnt great due to being on disability, but David Rhum was upfront with me and didnt do the dance most salesmen do. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and could afford. He used that and with the finance department worked a deal we all could agree with. In finance, Alex took the time to work thru the problems I had and made me feel as if it could work no matter what my situation was. Because this dealership was recommended so highly by my friends (who had purchased vehicles from them) I went in with an open mind, but not much hope. I drove away in the vehicle I wanted at a price that fit my budget. I recently purchased a new vehicle from Devin and Toyota of Muncie, and I could not be more pleased with the experience. Devin was straight to the point with pricing and trade-in value (which beat everyone within a 3 hour drive). He was the only salesperson that did not use high pressure sales tactics and did not call me 3 times a day to try and make a deal. I turned down an offer to beat Toyota of Muncies price by $500 just because Muncie was so easy to work with. Im glad I made the 2 hour trip, and will gladly do it again for our next car.
